All rest of out meal was well to the level we've gained from eating here. Staff was really as always we have always expected and was delivered. The deserts was impressive and appreciated all of them. We still have very high praise and so many outstanding meals in this restaurant and look forward to our next occasion to stop in for the wonderful great tasting food. The food: my friend had the Cristo and said it was way too salty; pretzels tasted good though heavily salted and cheese sauce had a thick dried skin on top (sat too long under heat lamp?); another had the potato soup and it was delicious; my Brussels sprouts were ok though only room temperature (again sat too long?). I should note, this was on a Thursday night at 6, ordered food at 6:20, started receiving at 7:00, mine at 7:10. There were 6 of us. Again simple items that should not have taken 40+ minutes to pull together. We all agreed the server was not good (though we tried to find excuses for her behavior "serving is hard work the kitchen delays, etc." but there was really no real excuse for not being inattentive), and the food was not worth the expense.
