Kevin even pitched in on an occasion or two to work with his crew. I owed him the $17,000 balance of the job for some weeks since I had been out of town, and he was very reasonable about waiting for the final payment. I had three people give glowing reports on Kevin and his roofing-siding business prior to my choosing/using him. These were discriminating, well-to-do people, IE, in an affluent neighborhood. One was a woodworking craftsman and engineer. From the results I say that I agree wholeheartedly with recommending them. We had the whole roof stripped, repairs made to the plywood, a cricket remade before they re-roofed it. No leaks... BTW, BBB has no complaints listed.

They made sure they did not damage any plantings, and they were so good at cleaning up. No debris left behind. Their pricing was competetive, and I received the very best value for my money. To prepare the space, he removed old wood pieces that left the wall looking rough. He then mixed drywall paste, repaired the damage, sanded, painted, and installed the shelving. The finished area looks great. Additional Home Repairs Because this is an older house, several other items needed attention. James handled each one carefully and efficiently: * Fixed door slides to add extra security when locking two exterior doors. * Added missing weather stripping to the bottom of the storm door. * Cleaned up torn metal siding beneath the front door. * Installed a hook in the cement wall for the car charger. Above-and-Beyond Support During the move into the new house, the master bed proved difficult to assemble because it had many pieces. When one of James's jobs ended early, he came over ahead of schedule and put the bed together that same afternoon. That level of flexibility and care was truly above and beyond. James will be our first call for house repairs in West Hartford.
