Now I recall why I stopped purchasing from Yuba City store. Ordered a thin crust and that's exactly what I got. Could the crust be any thinner and the veggies couldn't have been any thicker than a piece of wax paper. More so, the cheese is the worst! It's nearly impossible to chew. Obviously, a very cheap brand. Nasty taste in our mouth after eating. I Hadn't been here for a couple of years and I will NOT EVER purchase another pizza from them. I am always willing to pay more for good food, This was NOT. Pay a few bucks more for a good product somewhere else. Half of this pizza went in the trash, next step...go brush your teeth. read more

The pizzas are always delicious however, I noticed that the girl working the register was also touching the food with the same gloves. She was ringing up a customer and as the pizza came from the back she then proceeded to spread out the dough in the pan before the toppings are put on and then went right back to the register with the same gloves. I am a strict vegetarian, I rarely even eat cheese so pizza is a rare treat for our family. I called in an order for a gourmet veggie family size pizza, when the pizza was cooked and we began eating it one of my daughters found a piece of chicken on her pizza. Upon closer inspection I found two other pieces of chicken on my pizza. I called to let them know what had happened and I was told that there was not chicken on my pizza. This was told to me by the manager, she even questioned me as if I didn't know what chicken looked like. I told her I know there's not supposed to be meat on my pizza but there is meat on my pizza. She told me I could drive back to the store in the rain and return the rest of the pizza and exchange for another pizza. All I wanted was an apology and to make sure this didn't happen to another customer but all I got was attitude. This is not the first time I've had a problem with this Papa Murphy's. Stopped in today for a family sized garden vegetable pizza. Stood there for a good while before anyone acknowledged me. The 2 ppl behind the counter seemed put out that they had to help me with my order. They were busy making game day pizzas. I ordered and the older lady said 'You can have this one that I just made, I will make another to replace it', and she pulled a pizza off the rack and gave it to me. When I got it home, it was a vegetable pizza but it also had spinach, zucchini and a white sauce, and dairy free cheese - not what I had ordered at all. It wasn't good, very watery from all of the toppings making the crust soggy, not at all appetizing, especially when you have your appetite set on something quite different. 08/2023 The older East Indian woman at the front who looks to be the owner of this establishment has always been cold towards her customers but the pizza WAS so good and we use coupons so we kept ordering every once in a while. Well, this last time she was completely rude AND the pizza no longer tastes like it used to. The dough and cheese taste cheap now and she really skimped on the toppings too. We ordered this for someone who's never had Papa Murphy's because we loved Papa Murphy's but it was embarrassing how poor the quality was. He was not impressed at all and you can imagine how upset we were with the owner who not only made bad pizzas but was SO RUDE for no reason. We're always so polite and thankful but she acts like all her customers are a nuisance or something. She really shouldn't be in the customer service business and whatever's changed with the pizzas needs to go back to the old recipes and techniques. Tried their keto option, the give you enough toppings And it's delicious, I wasn't even tempted by my husbands garlic chicken pizza, which is my favorite. Ordered a Chicago Stuffed pizza with extra cheese and add pineapples.... I don't like to complain about heavy hand on toppings but when the onions are enormously large chopped and it seems like the whole bowl was put on it. Extremely inedible especially with my kids.... BUYER BEWARE! I paid for three pizzas online through two different orders within thirty minutes of each other. My husband went to pick up the orders and was told there were only two pizzas for him to pick up. I called Papa Murphy's and was told Papa Murphy's has a policy that it will not make an additional pizza from two orders submitted online. I told the man I was speaking with that I had the two receipts and asked if I would get a refund and he said no because the order was made online. I asked if I came back would I get the third pizza and he said no because of their policy. After arguing with him for a few minutes he told me that since I was, "making a big deal about it ", if I came back I would get the third pizza, " just this once". My family has been ordering from Papa Murphy's for years. This will no longer be the case since I don't consider wanting the items YOU PAID FOR in good faith unreasonable. I live in Southern California and I constantly lament the fact that we don't have a Papa Murphy's down here. But when I explain it to my friends, they can't understand what is so amazing about a pizza that you take home uncooked and pop in your own oven. It's the fresh way it's all made! You can have them make it in front of you. The lovely pizza dough gets slathered with marinara sauce and whatever your little heart desires gets loaded on top. I am a big fan of their gourmet veggie pizza. It's amazing. And then when you take it home you can cook it whenever you want, and it cooks in like 15 minutes. Perfection. Whenever I come to visit my Dad in Yuba City, I demand that we go here so I can savor it. The staff are always very friendly, it's really clean, and very well priced. Yuba City has a stigma of taking overall great franchises and making them sub-par, (anyone who has lived here more than 20 minutes knows that I'm talking about) Never have a problem Quality, it's kind of hard to screw up a non-bake pizza. Taste was WAY off and ingredients seemed 'watered down', white sauce was thin and tasteless! Hardly any canadian bacon or pineapple topping! We ordered three pizzas and had a coupon from our Verizon reward program for 50% off for up to three pizzas. When we presented the coupon, which was specifically for this PM location (it was printed on the coupon) the owner said they never authorized it and that they would not take it. They had taken the coupon a week earlier. Not sure why they are part of this discount program and then refuse to honor the coupon? I ordered a Chicken stuffed pizza tonight and asked for NO tomatoes and NO onions since I am HIGHLY allergic to tomatoes and my son is allergic to onions and they put BOTH on my pizza.
