The pizza was fine. I had it delivered to our friend's house. I phoned to order because I am visually impaired and have a hard time with websites on my phone. I spoke with a young woman and she took my order for 2 large pizza's. I paid a delivery charge,which was fine They arrived on time. I was a bit thrown off by the charge on my card. I realize that's probably cash and carry but still, almost doubling the price THEN charging a delivery fee is brutal... I should have asked for details. When ordering by phone, was I ordering through a service and they get a portion of the total? The person I spoke with didn't sound like a Uniontown native.... I think I was caught in a double cross. I ordered a pizza from this location the driver ran into my garage damaging it and tried to back up as if nothing happened. The store manager was very nice but was quick to say that Papa Johns is not responsible but the driver has insurance we verify this. Well, come to find out the driver did not have the correct kind of insurance because he was using his personal vehicle for business. I have not once heard from the general manager or corporate. I was giving a number for corporate and you get a voice message but can't leave a message. At this time we are stuck with paying for the garage as they continue to hire drug dependent individuals to work for them!!! Thank you PAPA JOHN'S for the at home drive through service. read more

We decided to order a pizza at 10:05 pm they told us it would be 25 minutes with delivery almost an hour passes and we realize the pizza hasn't come we try to call and they are closed... realized they refunded our money without a phone call and this is the third time this has happened... needless to say this is the worst papa Johns ever with the worst customer service. Papa John's has the best online ordering system of any of the pizza joints. Once you are signed up, you can order a pizza for carryout or delivery. You can pay online, even including the driver tip. The online system is easy to use and flexible. There are always specials online or you can order from the menu. I've even been on vacation, needed to order pizzas for the teens back home, and the whole thing works without a hitch. Papa John's is our #1 choice for pizza because of the convenience of the online ordering. They don't have the best pizza (in fact, from this location in Uniontown, I can drive 3 miles in all four directions and the next pizza joint in each direction runs circles around Papa John's pizza. [Bob's to the South, Hot Stone to the North, Romeo's to the East, Zeppe's of Green to the west]. However, none of those places have online ordering that actually works and works well, so Papa John's gets the nod. read more

The online ordering is great but this time we called the order in. Big mistake. We were told the pizza could take 45-60 minutes. Ok, no problem. One hour and twenty minutes later still nothing. I call and am told "oh, it should be on the way now". So, over an hour and a half later, we finally get our two pepperoni pizzas. No explanation, just a "sorry 'bout that". Online ordering, wonderful. Staff at location, priceless. We ordered online as we had done in the past, smooth transaction till the phone rings. We don't deliver to your location any more. WHAT? It's like 4 miles away and we are NOT in a bad area or hard to find. Only thing I can think, LAZY. Well, we ordered from Zeppe's, a little farther away, but always dependable. Should have stuck to them, only ordered from Papa's because of the emailed coupons they keep sending. My first time having Papa John's because my dad always said other places were better. Well I'm not disappointed! Loaded with so much pepperoni I can hardly lift a slice in one piece lol. Also I appreciate the additions they give you without having to ask, like the pepper for example. I remember when other pizza places did that. I recently ordered their new pan pizza because they had a 10 buck coupon. The sauce and crust were very good. I ordered it with mushrooms ,pepperoni ,sausage, onions ,and green peppers. Unfortunately ,as is the case with many chains ,they must be rationing ingredients, because they were so skimpy on the pizza I received. Thats too bad since the sauce and crust were so good , compared to the rather cardboardy crust I feel is on their regular pizza. Hence the one star rating. Just got an order for someone else. Immediately called Papa Johns. Was told the delivery guy is on his way with the correct pizza. I asked what would be done with the incorrect pizza. I was told "we will deliver it to the correct person" (them not knowing it had been a pickup order) Are you kidding me! How would you like getting a pizza that was delivered to the wrong person, picked up and taken to the correct person? I for one am disgusted by it. I then talked to the manager, she said that has never happened, we would never do that, I don't know why you were told that and I was just fishing for a free pizza. Are you kidding me? I never said anything about a free pizza. She was the rudest person I have ever talked to. Who knows, I may have had pizzas in the past the had been delivered to someone else then redelivered to me and not even know it. I would never know if someone did something to that pizza that was delivered to the wrong person and then delivered to me. I had the phone number of the customer who's pizza I had.Called her and she said it looked as though the pizza they got had a lot of spices on. When I told her that I had her pizza she looked at it closer, told me it had been burnt in the top, and the bottom and inside was cold. I was discussed by the whole thing. Look at all the people that put stuff in candy for trick or treater's. This is a very unsafe thing to do.
