There simply isn't a better meal in town than Papa Ganoush. We've been twice now, and everything is prepared with such care, and such bright, interesting flavors. It's a good idea to book early, because it isn't very big and the word is out. Great spot for a date night, but even more fun to come with a group and share everything.
Even something seemingly ordinary, like hummus with flatbread, or panko halloumi, is elevated here. Both of those dishes were, surprisingly, standouts. But it takes real skill to make something great out of something so simple. We also loved the crispy squid, decadent baked aubergine with goats cheese, the bright falafel salad, and the wonderful lamb and fennel meatballs dotted with yoghurt (get two orders of those). We look forward to coming back many more times. read more
