Davide Longoni is a local celebrity baker with multiple locations throughout Milan. He's known for his loaves / rounds of bread.
We got a plain croissant (€2), which looked nicely laminated outside - it was pretty good, especially for the price (by US standards, but definitely can't compare to France.). We also tried the tomato focaccia, which they sell by the kg (€20/kg). They'll cut a round for you, and half a round was only €3. Definitely have it warmed up.
Milan isn't known for its pastries and baked goods, so Davide Longoni definitely helps fill an unmet need. read more
