Either too sweet, lacked a variance in texture or flavor, or just downright unappealing. Wide variety of cakes to choose from and can order by the slice or by the whole. Great place to stop by after eating at the other nearby restaurants. The coffee is good as well but quite small. The small/pequeno is equivalent to a demitasse cup (1 shot of espresso) whereas the grande is probably a 5oz cup. I'd definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a coffee pick me up or European quality cakes.

I planned to sit down and enjoy a relaxed meal, but I was surprised by the wide variety of products--this place is almost like a mini market! The display was full of fresh pastries, and the counter had an amazing selection of house-made cakes and sweets. The service could have been better--the attendant didn't seem to know much about the options or just wasn't in the mood to help--but that didn't ruin the experience. The bread was delicious, and I also had a stuffed omelet, which was so good it didn't last long enough for a picture. Definitely going back to fix that!

Another great thing about this place is that they have excellent cafe lattes, which is a real struggle to find here in Brazil. If it weren't for the whimsical green stools and lilac colored walls, I would think I was in Brooklyn. For a gringo like me who has been just dying to have a decent cookie for months, this place is a true blessing! The shop is quite small, and has an unassuming front door, so look closely!
