We were both impressed by the quiet and calm energy in the office. I finished with my occupational therapy at home on May 26. My recovery has been taking longer than anticipated. I first met with Nash at Maximum Motion for my evaluation on June 2. She's very friendly, kind, intelligent, supportive and attentive. I especially like that. I've unfortunately been to physical therapy too many times in my 60 years and it's never a plus if the therapists aren't listening to their patients. On June 6th and every other day after I've had the pleasure, and I mean that, of meeting and working with Kenny, Kevin, Olivia, Allison and the lovely and pleasant Jenn who greets us with warmth, kindness and a beautiful smile. I've only ever spoken with Kim on the phone but she is just as delightful as the rest of the staff. The atmosphere is laid back but hands-on. I've never liked physical therapy because of my many maladies something else always inevitably happens that causes pain elsewhere to debilitate me, because I wasn't being listened to. I don't worry about that with these beautiful people. Care is given, and no one is ever given more than they know each patient can handle. They each have a wicked sense of humor and, as a patient, it's their easy camaraderie that makes going there especially comfortable and even fun. I actually look forward to going back. On my initial evaluation with Eddie I…read morethought he would do a strength evaluation, mobility, etc. he had me try to do a sit up ( I have 3 levels fused in my spine and 3 months post surgical). Since I have no mobility in my lower spine I obviously can't do a sit up. He looked at my fist and measured my scar. That's it. He skimmed through my paperwork criticizing me because I had too much "pain areas" circled on the paperwork. I felt rushed, he didn't hear anything I was saying therefore had no idea what physical therapy treatment to give me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking he had a bad day. I went for my second visit and that's when I realized this place wasn't for me. He's very cold, unsympathetic, no empathy, not very knowledgeable when it comes to patients that had a very involved surgery. I can barely. Lift my right leg 6 inches off the ground. He put me in front of a step master and told me to do 5 minutes on that. I said Maybe I'm the future but now I can't lift my leg. His receptionist and himself had a really bad attitude. I definitely would never step foot back in there again nor would I recommend him to my worst enemy.

He degraded me like I was a drug addict looking for a handout. I went to Dr. Song and provided him with the medications I am currently on. I am 34 years old with a walker because a drunk driver t- boned me and ruined my life and my physical body. Dr. Song threw my medications at me and my paper work and said he didnt wanna be part of anything that was wrong with me. He didnt even help me out of the chair, he made me struggle to my walker. Didn't believe anything I was saying, mind you I will be stuck with this spinal cancer the rest of my life and now it is eating at my legs. Not only the physical but the mental of dying and coming back. His response was ," do you really think you can die and come back?" Like it was a joke. I don't find any of this funny and I have not felt so degraded in my life. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR! HE IS HEARTLESS AND DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PAIN, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL! The only person who was great was the front desk receptionist.

I had a meniscus repair on my knee as well as a sprained ligament on my other knee and I wouldn't have recovered as fast or well without Cosmo. The staff- Linda, Carolyn and Dan are very kind and helpful in anything you need assistance with regarding appointments or insurance. Carolyn puts her all into helping you with your no fault cases as she did with mine by helping me find out how much coverage I had exhausted. I couldn't suggest a better institution for physical therapy. They also sell various ice packs, pain creams and gels such as biofreeze, and stim kits but a script is needed for the stim.
