There is more but at the moment I cannot think because I am so furious after having just gotten off the phone with them. Apparently closing on time is way more important than addressing an 85 year old woman's pain issues and the need for simply just calling in a script. As a health care provider, I am appalled and ashamed that these people are part of my profession. Run, don't walk to a provider that has a team that truly cares for patients.

This hospital was once a dump however now its an amazing hospital. From my experience I was treated with the upmost respect and awesome service . Starting from the emergency room staff. I thought I would be sitting waiting for at least 4 hrs. Its was about 1 hour and I was called in. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well, but the nurses and Dr took very good care of me. I had pneumonia didnt even know it. I was treated with the upmost care. From transport to food service, imaging reps to blood work reps , nurses on the floor were all great. Southside has improved a lot. I would recommend this hospital for care.

He was very knowledgeable and professional and made me feel very comfortable. Although the building is old the office itself is clean and neat and the office managers are very friendly and polite . I was administered a cortisone shot and had X-ray s and an MRI . Although the MRI showed I did have a small rotor cuff tear he suggested Physical Therapy and did not push surgery My shoulder got better over time so far no surgery needed ! Now my other shoulder is bothering me . So today was back to see Dr . Lastihenos . Once again pleasant and professional . Still following COVID rules , masks and distancing . Great staff ! Had X-rays and a cortisone shot... Hope it works otherwise PT next !

I was told by three orthopedic surgeons that there is no repairing that problem at my age , and if I were 20 it might work but not in my fifties ! There is no blood supply at my age to that area . How do you repair an area that can't heal ? I use to run , kneel , play golf .. not any more after this mess . Don't take any doctors word ! Get a second opinion I'm so sorry I did not !
