But this time we decided to also get a loaded steak nacho and the chef salad, no ham and added grilled chicken and also a pretzel. The chef salad which came to $18.98 after I added the chicken, it was good except the long pieces of cold bacon, would have preferred the bacon chopped up. And while the salad was good, I wouldn't rush to buy it again, especially for nearly $20. Taste wise, it's no different in size or taste then I would get at a grocery store for half the price. The pretzel was buttery, well salted and delicious. $8.99 Worth it in my opinion. The philly cheese steak was good, my husband as always enjoy his hoagie, it was loaded with cheese and meat. $15.49 (he loved it) I left the worse for last. The loaded steak nacho looked like it would be a hit, everything came in separate containers so that you could load it up yourself at home without the chips getting mushy on the drive home. $18.99 While trying to separate some of the steak to crumble it on top of the nachos I found a hair wrapped around one of the steak pieces. So adding the steak was a immediate no for us, which was disappointing. We have gotten food from here at least 15 times but could be more and I can honestly say this was a first. So even though this experience wasn't that great, our other experiences here have been. Which is why I settled on 3 stars.

I never have a need to get hummus from the grocery store or even make it myself when I'm in Pensacola anymore! The hummus at Chickpea house is so good and super affordable. The menu is super simple. Pita, falafel, fries, hummus, tahini, and a few veggies for salad and to make a sandwich (which is a pita with falafel in it). I would like to say this place is vegan, but since I didn't see it listed anywhere on the menu I'll just say that this place is good for vegetarians for sure. Not gonna lie I love Mediterranean meats and I would love to see kafta or any lamb on the menu. I understand that the simplicity is what makes this non-traditional Palestinian restaurant efficient and fast casual, however! To be honest, the fact that falafel is really the only protein available is probably the only reason why I'm not at this spot once a week while I'm in town. Other than that I highly recommend!

The staff could definitely use some work in the hospitality and customer service department. The kiosks in the front seemed impersonal and the staff literally refer you to the kiosk for everything. The interior is nice and clean but weird. The front where you order is disconnected from the eating area. A side of hot sauce is a dollar. Totally not worth a dollar for hot sauce. The sandwich on pita was said to be good. I didn't try it.

Goat Lips Chew & Brew House feels like the kind of place that was designed after someone said,…read more"What if every room had a different personality and the backyard never ended?" And honestly? The vibe is the star here. This place is wildly eclectic in the best way. A huge outdoor area that feels built for lingering, laughing, and losing track of time, plus a maze of themed rooms inside that make every turn feel like you accidentally walked into a different bar. It's unique, memorable, and exactly the kind of place you want to love before the food even hits the table. The service definitely helped that cause. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant from start to finish. Then the pretzel appetizer arrived and apparently chose violence. The beer cheese sauce had the consistency of warm yellow water and somehow even less personality. The pretzel itself tasted like it had been baptized in butter but still came out bland, which is honestly an achievement. I didn't know something could be both greasy and forgettable, but here we are. Thankfully, I was aggressively encouraged to order the club sandwich. "You HAVE to get it," they said. For once, the hype mostly paid off. The bread was toasted beautifully, full of crunch and flavor, and the sandwich as a whole really worked. Now, the meat? Let's just say it had strong gas station cold-cut energy. Perfectly edible, nothing offensive, but nobody's writing songs about it. That said, the mayo situation deserves its own fan club. There's some kind of mustard-seasoned magic happening in that spread, and it absolutely carries the whole sandwich across the finish line. Honestly, give me that toast cut into strips and a bowl of that sauce, and I'm a happy man. Forget the turkey, let me dip carbs directly into whatever wizardry they whipped up back there. So where does Goat Lips land? A place with a killer atmosphere, great service, one appetizer that should be investigated, and one sandwich condiment worthy of applause. The experience averages out exactly where the stars do: right down the middle. Three stars. Goat Lips is average food wrapped in an unforgettable setting, which somehow makes the whole thing more fun than it probably deserves.
