I don't know why I bother. Last time I was here was three years ago when I wrote this review. Went today at 9:20am. Walked in and the clerk said "just a minute" and went into the back for 4 minutes. When he returned we ordered one Asiago everything bagel, one cinnamon crunch bagel. Two plain cream cheeses (watch the tape and you will see). Gloria Rain is the most horrific manager, constantly rude to customers and employees. She has yelled at an employee she cried. It is clear that the workplace is awful to its workers. As I walked in the building I noicted everything was very clean. There was no one at the front register as I approached and it took them around four minutes to notice my presence. The young woman who took my order was pleasant and did her job well. I went to fill my drink but the lemonade was empty. An employee quickly went to the back to get more. He was speedy about it which was appreciated. I ordered the pick two combo. I chose the steak and cheese half sandwich and the French onion soup. Paired with kettle style chips and an agave lemonade. The food was really good. The soup was hot and perfect for this cold evening. The sandwich was toasty and warm and very yummy. The lemonade was also very good. I've had it before and it was as good as always. My spoon didn't look like it had been cleaned all the way so I got a plastic one instead from a nearby employee. Overall my experience was good. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The value for what I received I thought was very fair. I'd return to this location and recommend to others based off my first and only experience thus far. read more

They always put them on there when this business started in Lockport now this business is getting lazy. My girlfriend went there in the early evening and bought me a Chicken Caesar Salad. An hour later I started to feel bloated and very full. Then it started. Explosive vomiting and diarrhea, very weak. I never vomited that hard in my life. Never forget this. This went on for 18 hours, on and off. The diarrhea lasted for 5 days and stomach was in bad shape for 8 days after. Doctor put my on liquids for the week after. I called the health department like your suppose to and my girlfriend called Panera to talk to the manager. When she told the manager that we called the health department, the female manager hung up on her. I then called corporate who seemed very concerned and apologetic. They called the local manager to go over the way she handled the situation and who knows, maybe fire her. Not even corporate offered me my money back or gave me a credit. My experience was pretty good here until now. So before our gift cards for Panera expired tomorrow, we ordered here. I had ordered the pizza flatbread with broccoli and cheddar soup. The soup comes with a baguette. All of the food was really great and cheap. But when I was about to take a bite of my bread, my dad stopped me and checked the bread and there was mold on it. Mold can get you very sick and Ill and I just got over Covid so if I get sick, I will sue you guys. I will never come back to this location again. read more

I ordered an Uber Eats pickup order. When I asked the staff members at the counter if they had it, they said no. I asked the worker if they could check again and the manager said "I am the manager and we do not have it. Call Uber Eats customer service. Sorry bud." I then realized the order was sitting on the pickup shelf. I went back to the manager and said why did you not check your system or anything to see if you had made it? It's is sitting right here. We travel a lot and Panera is our go to when we want something fast but somewhat healthy. We have visited a lot of locations and the Lockport branch is one of the best there is. We still have to make sure we get our sides and that there is actually chicken on the BBQ or Asian chicken salad but the food is always good. The parking lot is a death trap, but that is because the city of Lockport can be really myopic when it comes to planning. read more

The new Panera bread location is very nice with a nice comfortable feeling dining room, an out door seating area and also a drive through pick up. Tasty salads, sandwiches and soups are their main menu items and of course bread and pastries. This location has self order kisocks, ordering by smart phone app, or the old fashioned way, by ordering at the register in person. I like the nice selection of beverage choices that include a selection of coffees, hot teas, iced tea, lemonade and other non carbonated choices, side drinks and some bottles beverages too. Employees need training on customer service and sales at the Lockport IL location. An elderly couple (86 and 95 years old)wanted to have delivery service because they are without a car for pickup. Called on the phone to place order for delivery because they do not own a computer or smartphone to order online. They enjoy Panera very much and try to go to the location as much as they are able. The employee took the order over the phone. After taking the full order, the employee then told the caller that they cannot provide delivery because "that has to be done online." The order was not put thru. Why was the employee able to take a full order over the phone but not mark it for delivery instead of pick up? You would rather lose a sale than just allow a phone call instead of a online order? That does not make sense. Clearly sales and good customer service is not a priority at this location. read more

I was then told that they had run out of bread bowls and I would be given an additional baguette and slices of sour dough bread to make up for the bread bowl. Food was good. But its a panera, so if you've had it once you've had it a million times. I came in on a weekday at 6:30am, 30 minutes after they open. The floors were full of crumbs and garbage - It is clear they did not vacuum or sweep from the day prior. I sat down in a booth to eat breakfast before work and their were crumbs all over the seat, and a fly swarming me the entire time I was eating. Considering it is new and the interior is so nice, I'm surprised they are not taking good care of the place. I would recommend because the food is good, but i wouldn't sit inside here again. read more
