I was reminded to order at least four times even though I was only at the speaker for about one minute this was my first time at Panera bread and I was excited to indulge into this menu, but I didn't even get the full experience to look at the menu. We didn't take that long to decide and they still had an attitude. I don't appreciate this. The young lady at the window was not hospitable. Just had a really disappointing salad from this location. I don't order out often, but when I do I want quality food that tastes good. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and it was horrible. The lettuce had such an overwhelming chemical taste that it dominated the whole salad. The only reason we came here is be we got a gift card. And I'm so glad because this chain is an absolute waste of your own hard earned money. The food here was absolute garbage. My boyfriend and I both got different thing for the Pick Two: I got a spicy chicken sandwich and French onion soup. It was revolting. Both of them. The sandwich was just an unseasoned overcooked and dry medium sized chicken breast dipped in watered down Franks Red Hot. The bun was FROZEN still. Like just barely thawed. It was cold. And got colder towards the center. The French onion soup was very literally just brown salty water with with limp old onions in it. With a splash of cheese and old croutons to try to cover up the nasty. My boyfriend got a sliced chicken sandwich that was bland and served on stale bread and a strawberry chicken salad that had no strawberries. And what veggies it did have was all mushy like it had been sitting out for days and they were just glad to get rid of it. We were in Lewisville to shop at Hobby Lobby and decided to stop in for a quick bite. We ordered at the self kiosk, so it was efficient. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for our buzzer to sound, signaling that our food was ready. I'm paranoid about COVID and usually done outside if I go out at all. Luckily, the tables were spaced out indoors, so we sat inside. We both ordered the Mediterranean sandwich and I also had a cup of tomato soup. The soup was lukewarm but I ate it any. Trying find the right words for my experience this morning. It was about 9:30, not crowded. I went through drive thru. I ordered a very complicated order, as it turned out. 2 plain bagels, one toasted ; one with chive cream cheese, one plain. Please pull forward. And then.... Nothing for 15 minutes. The server grabs cream cheese cartons out of the fridge , puts in bag with two toasted bagels. 15 minutes to prepare 2 bagels, one of them wrong. No cream cheese actually on the bagels-- so what the Fred took 15 minutes? Particularly when only 1 was supposed to be toasted. I realize that good help is hard to find and keep-- this store seemingly hasn't found any of those type workers. Should have driven over to Denton Tap and gotten Einstein Bagels. Not one clean table, be prepared to bus your own table from whoever ate there before you. No paper towels in the bathroom. Just plain bad service, scared to know what's happening behind the scenes in the kitchen if what I see in the restaurant is like this. Also the self checkout kiosks are way too complicated and difficult to checkout, shouldn't we be getting discounts on the food if we have to spend the time to learn the system? This is the worst Panera. And I really wish it wasn't. Tonight, I ordered soup and a grilled cheese in the drive through. They took my money and forgot me. I literally had to call and remind them I was still waiting for my food as 17 minutes went by and no one came back. Then my order was wrong. This used to be a great place to eat but something has happened. We order the new Chef's Spicy Chicken sandwich for me and onion soup for my wife. The chicken was dry and the sandwich did not look anything like the picture. The onion soup was cold. Their curbside pickup failed as we had to go inside to get our order, this after waiting 15 min past the scheduled pickup time. As a result the onion soup was cold. The bottom line is they have a lot of work to get back to where they used to be. I hope they fix their problems and get back to what they can be. Right now they are chopped. read more

I usually prefer McAllisters over Panera for quality of food and price, but decided to order soups from Panera because me and two of my family members are sick with covid. I ordered 3 soups for delivery, broccoli cheese, chicken noodle, and corn chowder. I paid $7 each for bowls and what was delivered was more like cups. The corn chowder was runny and hardly hard any ingredients, and the chicken noodle was no better than a can of progresso. That's what I get for giving them another chance. Very disappointed. I haven't been to Panera bread in a while. After this trip I'm sure it'll be a VERY long time before I return. The attached pic is what you'll get for $13.07 I left the small unsweetened tea out of the pic. I get home open up the bag and to my disappointment this is what I see. The soup was okay. But the sandwich consisted of four thin slices of turkey. A wilted piece of lettuce that pulled through while taking the first bite and removed. The tomato had an odd taste to them and were removed, so that leaves the two grey slices of bacon along with some very tough bread. I should've drove a little farther and got the taco salad I was planning on getting. It would've been 1/2the price and delicious. I did call the restaurant as my bag didn't have a spoon to eat my soup nor did they supply napkins. The drive through rep even looked in the bag twice before handing it to me. So, I called and the smarty pants person who answered the phone who offered a pastry for my disappointment. I don't want anything just not happy with their customer service or food. I can totally understand why they have two stars. Price is far too high for the amount of food received or the quality. This is literally the worst panera I have ever been too. I came in on a Friday night and decided to go through the drive thru like the usual but the line was incredibly long! We ordered our food and paid, only for us to wait 15 minutes and be told they are out of several food items. Then, once we received the food, the chicken literally was cold and tasted OLD. They gave my husband a fork that had food all over it?? The restaurant was dirty and clearly no one had taken the time to wipe down tables. I also asked for a refund on the salad that I ordered since they were out of the dressing (but didn't tell me that until after it was ordered/ paid for) and we still haven't received the refund. I haven't had a bage in a while, and was driving by. Swung through the drive through and ordered a chocolate chip bage with cream cheese. I got my order, pulled out, and found a dry bagel in a bag. It wasn't the right bagel - they gave me a cinnamon raisin. I went back inside and asked them to fix it, was told that they don't put the cream cheese on it. I have to assemble it myself, I guess by balancing on my leg as a drive down the road. Never gone to bagel place before that wants me to put my own food together. I will start this review off by saying i never been to a Panera Bread before. I was looking up new (to me) places for lunch when i came across their menu. I almost didn't order just because all the bad reviews on yelp, but I went anyway because it looked really good and i wanted to try the soup. Im soo glad i did, I ordered 3 different soups a sandwich and broccoli mac and cheese to sample just in case I didn't like something and now im in trouble because they were all phenomenal and neither me or the wife can finish it! The broccoli mac and cheese was dangerously delicious and the turkey chili was my favorite. The sandwich was a bit expensive for the size (11$ for the whole) but the soup and salad is the way to go. I will visit again for sure, keep up the great work! I feel like people only use yelp to complain when they have a bad experience and I personally won't be going by the yelp platforms suggestions anymore. I wanted to write this so there's at least one non biased review about this place thats not something trivial like the food being cold or someone wasn't nice enough to them.
