The food arrived SO FAST couldn't believe it. The cashier was super nice as well LOVE THIS PANERA

The service at this Panera location is dismal. After giving them numerous tries I have decided to stop coming back. The first incident involved a chicken sandwich that took 20 minutes. Aside from it taking an inordinate amount of time, they gave me a sandwich missing the chicken. When I brought it to the attention of the person working the window she ordered a person behind the counter to throw the chicken in the microwave. She then dumped the microwaved bowl of soggy chicken onto my cold bread. Gross. The second incident involved an order for a cinnamon spice latte with (less) syrup. They made the drink with extra syrup. When I took it back to the counter the entire staff just blankly stared at me as I explained that the drink was not made correct. No one offered a solution. No one apologized. They literally just stared. I had to tell them that I would like the drink remade. But instead of offering to do so without a hassle they insisted on finding my original receipt to ensure that I had ordered correctly. Once locating my order and realizing the drink had been made wrong, they called me back up to the counter to throw the original drink away for them. Lame. Why would they not have taken care of that themselves? My last trip was the final straw. I had placed an order to go on their kiosk and was waiting at a table near the window. My daughter recently broke her arm and I was on my phone trying to login to the Pediatrician's patient portal to read a message from the doctor. I was having a hard time figuring out the password but was also trying to keep an eye on the window. I saw an order that looked like mine and walked up to casually ask if it was my sandwich. The woman behind the counter literally barked at me that if I hadn't been staring at my phone I would've noticed my order was ready. Frankly it is none of Panera staff's concern what I do while waiting for my sandwich. I found her comment incredibly rude and offensive. I will never come back. There are too many other options in the area. From now on I will head to the great American bagel across the street. read more

I come here often for a breakfast sandwich or quick smoothie. Maybe every other month I'll come for lunch too. The food never disappoints, but the parchment paper my sandwich was wrapped in REEKED of wax. Like I thought it was the bread but it was the paper. Hopefully it didn't poison my food. Ew. read more

4/11/17 I was not given receipt for my drive thru transaction. I was told it is in the bag but it wasn't. I parked and went in, asked to speak with the store manager, who has assured me that my coffee is free of charge and went on to inform me that he has already refunded paid amount. It however was never posted back on my credit card. PANERA BREAD, your employees may be skimming in this location. Will not go back again!!! read more

Like most chain restaurants they are generally the same. Panera offers healthier choices than most restaurants. Salads, sandwiches and soups. They have a wide selection of coffees and teas. You'll see people camped out reading or studying because they have free Wifi. read more

The food is standard Panera fair, everything is always fine. My biggest complaint is their ordering system. You order at the kiosk (totally fine), you wait for your order as someone "hand checks" it which means they open all of the containers with bare hands so you pick up your bag hoping they actually got it all right. You get home and SURPRISE there is always at least 1 thing wrong. Why? They make this big show to mark the receipt, check all the bags but still have missing items. EVERY TIME (this past Wednesday it was 2 bags of chips). We order from here quite a bit as my parents live close and it is the easiest thing for us. Guess we will have to start checking their double checks, mega thumbs down. Drive thru is pretty fast, parking is plentiful and the new renovations are beautiful. Can't comment on employees attitudes because of the ordering system so you don't speak to anyone...bummer. read more

Two visits prior ordered carry out, but they were out of arugula - an ingredient in the majority of their menu items. Panera then had difficulty advising substitute options for the salad (e.g. romaine lettuce...). Whatever - no big deal. Though come to find out that with that visit's order they forgot to provide wife's oatmeal raisin cookie ordered and paid for. Next visit: ordered a steak and arugula sandwich, received a steak and cheddar panini. Fast forward to today: mother-in-law is in town visiting wife and newborn. Carry out order placed and this time Panera forgot a sandwich (chicken avocado melt) altogether. Being easily aggravated by continual ineptitude and incompetence, returned to Panera receipt-in-hand. Sat in drive thru line for about ten minutes only to be told over intercom that the missing sandwich issue could only be addressed in-store. Was then unable to leave drive thru line (as curbed in) so had to sit in line for another ten minutes or so while six cars ahead awaited/received orders. Parked, went into store, and advised the situation. Attitude as though THEY were both annoyed and inconvenienced by this. And ten minutes later what was received for all this trouble? Chicken avocado melt originally ordered and paid for. Thanks Panera. Decent food - terrible service. Will likely be back - REGRETTABLY - as wife's current "quick" go-to. That said, do NOT recommend. And check all orders for accuracy prior to departing. read more

Almost every time we have gotten food through the drive thru, at least part of our order is wrong or missing completely, leaving at least one (sometimes more) family members hungry and upset. When we do get the right food, it is often a portion no where near worth the price of the item. When we have tried to call the store to let them know how our order came out, we could not reach any staff member and were disconnected several times. Don't waste your money. read more

I've been meeting a group of friends here for about 5 years. We continually comment on the bad service. The employees clearly do the bare minimum and have no idea what good customer service is. One employee Mike stands out as he is always cheerful and goes out of his way to be helpful. The turn over in employees must be high. So many seem like trainees. It's a central location for us to meet and a couple in our group live the bread. Every week we comment on the bad service. read more

I ordered a turkey sandwich, going through the drive-thru. It was awful. It appeared the sliced turkey was grocery store type sliced turkey, from a package, that they threw on some bread, and that was my sandwich. It took several minutes waiting. They gave me a cookie for the long wait, but it did not make up for the horrible sandwich. Similar experience once before. I will not ever go through the drive-thru again. read more

Please tell me how you can get my order wrong 3/5 times? All I order is soup or salad no special requests and a drink. This time I got the wrong soup and a hunk of bread instead of an apple thrown in a bag. Why do I keep coming here? Because it's on my way to work and the drive thru wasn't busy. This Panera is the worst Panera that I have ever been to. I went here a few weeks ago with a co-worker on our lunch break and we decided to go through the drive thru so that we could bring our food back to the office and eat there. The guy taking our order told us that we could place two separate orders and pay individually so we sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes waiting to get to the window and get our food. When we got to the window, a girl said "Yeah, I know that he told you that you can place two separate orders but you can't." No solution or anything- just stared at us. I responded "well that's weird since he told us that we can. Can we come in and place two separate orders?" She said yeah so we went in to re-place our orders. We got to the counter and a young boy was standing behind the computer. I explained what happened with the drive thru and asked if we have to re-order our food or if they were already making it. He just stared at us for like 30 seconds like we were speaking a foreign language. I then told him that we can just re-order since he clearly did not know and was not in a hurry to help us find out. He then went to get the girl who greeted us at the drive thru window and she told us that we had to re-order our food and asked again what we wanted. We were then standing by the food counter waiting for our food. There were about 8 employees in front of the counter and behind it just standing around. We were the ONLY people in line and we stood there for another 15 minutes waiting for our food while they were talking and socializing. The guy at the counter then handed my co-worker her food and 5 minutes later gave me a bag. I told him that this was not my order and that I got a turkey sandwich with no cheese (because I am allergic) and a green smoothie. He then grabbed my correct order and we left. When we got back to the office, I opened my sandwich and of course, THERE WAS CHEESE IN IT! Fast forward two weeks later and I was heading into the office from an appointment and figured I would swing by the same Panera to grab a breakfast sandwich. There was 1 car in front of me and when I pulled up to the ordering menu, I was not greeted for 5 minutes. I thought no one was coming. Finally, a girl took my order and I ordered a sausage and egg sandwich WITHOUT ANY CHEESE. I pulled up to the window and paid for my food with the same girl from my previous experience. I then sat there for another 10 minutes waiting for my food (meanwhile, there is only 1 car behind me and the parking lot was very empty). Finally she came back and gave me my sandwich. I pulled out and there was MELTED CHEESE all over my sandwich. I needed to get back to work so I did not have time to turn around and had to throw away the breakfast. Panera as a company is usually really great. I never complain anywhere I go but the lack of consideration and attention by its employees and the consistent bad customer service is very upsetting. If I were Panera, I would send someone from corporate to clean house and re-hire decent human beings who actually have the ability to take care of its customers. read more

This has been newly renovated!! It's beautiful and more inviting. They completely revamped this one to make it more homely and as if you are in a bakery. The decor is new, modern and the place is more bright. Definitely you can tell that they are trying to be more eco friendly. My favorite part is the ICED TEA station. OMG if you love iced tea, you will love the different cooled tea that they offer. I haven't seen this in other Panera breads. Hopefully they remodel the rest of the Paneras in the near future. Food wise, it's still the same as the other Paneras. They're motto is "clean food" in a nutshell. I like that they are conscious of serving antibiotic free meat and healthier meal options overall. But this particular place you definitely have to visit if you haven't seen the remodel. Absolutely beautiful! read more

One night after work I was too exhausted to even minorly entertain the idea of cooking dinner. I really wanted Portillos, but knew I should probably opt for something a bit more healthy. Panera is right down the street from work, so I quickly slid in. It had probably been years since I had been to Panera, so their menu was totally new to me. I went with the tomato soup and sierra turkey sandwich. Everything was so fresh and satisfying. The soup absolutely hit the spot, and the chipotle mayo on the turkey really made the sandwich. Another plus...they list the calories right on the overhead menu so that customers can make informed decisions. They even gave me a "my Panera" card which allows me to earn free food. I've already earned a free pastry just for signing up, so I'll definitely be back for that! read more

Went to this Panera Bread around 8pm one night (2 hours before closing). I attempted to order a bread bowl and was told they were out of bread bowls so I opted for a bowl of soup. I was then asked if I wanted chips or an apple for my side because they were also out of bread. How can Panera BREAD run out of BREAD? I understand they may bake their goods fresh daily but how can you run out of BREAD at Panera BREAD two hours before closing?? Completely confused and upset I just spent $20 on some soup and apples. Can't wait to dip my Granny Smith in my broccoli cheddar, YUM! read more

This is a great lunch option. Their breads are fresh. The soups are great and you can do a soup with half sandwich combo. It's a lot of food, but nice for a big lunch. All the soups are nice, but the broccoli cheddar is a real gem. read more

Been eating Panera since it was St. Louis bread co. I've tried them lately. Menu changed along with decor. Decor is pretty cool but the food is awful except for broccoli soup and cinnamon crunch bagel. If my grandkids ever ask to go here again I will refuse. Sw tortilla soup was inedible. The kale panini sandwich was terrible. 36$ worth of bread bowls and a half sandwich. No value. No flavor. read more

Ah, Panera. The place I go where I want food nicer than Portillo's, but can't bear the idea of getting out of my car. I love the Mac and cheese, I love the signature hot chocolate... But that's about it. The rest of the food is pretty mediocre, the service is so/so, and the prices continue to climb. I went Through the drive thru at this location this morning at 10:45 AM and they were completely out of bagels.This is the second time this has happened at this location. The customer service at this location is literally non existent when Wally, the general manager isn't working. You'll find loud obnoxious girls at the creating an environment for a few minutes that sounds like a grade school recess. The most disturbing experience was last Tuesday. 3 customers including myself were waiting for hot water for tea. The blond lady who clears tables and delivers food is also responsible for this coffee stations. She helped one woman get a cup of hot water from the kitchen. Another gentlemen asked for the same and she replied with a snippy voice that it was being boiled. She kept her lips moving saying something under her breath. I've seen her take some plates away for some customers., and I've see others get walked right by. The silverware is always disgusting. Ask for plastic ware. It's also wrapped. This location struggles writhing cleanliness. It also makes the sloppiest sandwiches. For example, order a breakfast sandwich that has spinach, you'll. Bite into one lump of spinach. It's not even spread out. My recommendation is visit the oaks brook. location. That's my new location of preference. Day and night experience ! read more

This is the best-run Panera I have ever seen. I'm here mid-afternoon, but saw the end of the lunch rush. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the place is spotless. Of course, my Hazelnut coffee was wonderful and my sandwich was fresh and tasty, too. I only wish the prices were 15% lower. But they passed out free Christmas tree cookies, so I can't complain too much. I'm using their free Wi-Fi right now. read more

it's a great chain. i frequent the location on 75th st. and have always had a great experience there. 95% of the time, their baked goods are spot on (i buy a loaf of honey wheat every week and the blueberry & orange scones twice monthly). decided to try this location when i was short on time. never come to this location at lunch. i asked for the turkey, artichoke on focaccia w/no mayo. asked for no mayo twice, just to make sure he heard me. he said it would be ready right away. both lies. i waited 10 minutes, and it seemed like everyone else got to go ahead of me. also i had asked for an apple. they gave me chips. not a big deal, but i saw 6 out of 8 people ahead of me do the same (switch out the wrong side option). when i finally got it, it tasted like it had been pre-made and thrown in the panini grill, as the bread was really soggy on the inside b/c of the mayo that had been sitting there (probably all morning) and the crust was too crispy on the outside. oh and yes, the fact that there was mayo in the 1st place made this all wrong. i was already on the road to my next stop and late, so i couldn't go back. utterly disappointed. they should just stick w/pastries and breads. read more

Pretty good Panera. They often run out of bread in the evening but the food is consistently good. The most noteworthy thing about this location is this one guy who brings out the food and often offers to take your plate when done. He is really great and deserves special recognition. read more

My friends and I go this Panera every Saturday morning. I usually start by getting the scones my wife likes before we give out sit down orders. Today I asked for one of every scone they had. I though the young lady listed at least six differnt kinds of scone. When I got home there were five scones in the bag. I called and talked to the manager. Guess what? When I asked him to recite all the different kinds of scones he could only manage the names of four! When they opened their drive in the two times I went through they got the orders wrong. The first time they didn't return my Panera card, and when they looked for it among the number of cards they had kept, they couldn't find it. We have gone to this Panera for a number of years, and the first manager was great, but the last ones don't seem to be able to get things right. read more

I think I am done with this place. We eat there several times a week, mainly salads after dance class. It routinely is out of something or other when we order around 8 p.m., either bread or cookies or both. Last night was the worst. At 8:30, we ordered a BBQ chicken salad. Then we were told they were out of romaine. They they were out of chicken. Then they were out of bread. Then they were out of flatbread. And then out of wild rice soup. And then out of broccoli soup. And out of cookies. We were offered turkey on kale and potato chips. Come on. We have complained several times and always just get a shrug. Sorry. Out dollars going elsewhere. read more

I come to this location fairly often in the morning and there are plenty of regulars. Don't have any gripes about food or service, but I do about the blonde, foreign-born cashier performing personal hygiene in the bathroom. She hangs her handbag on the handicapped stall's door, so no one can use it. It's almost like it's her own private room and people are disturbing her. Then, she proceeds to stand in front of the only sink for 3 minutes, with the water running, while she BRUSHES HER TEETH. I guess she doesn't want to put her handbag on the floor, but at the same time, she's inconveniencing the CUSTOMERS who just want to use the the toilet and wash their hands expeditiously. Hey, I'm all for clean teeth, but I do hope they get this sorted because it's insensitive. read more
