Pro tip #2: Pay attention to the instructions on how the tax refund process works at the airport--it's easy to miss a step. Pro tip #3: Walk down the little side street by the store. Although just steps away from the crazy touristy crowds of the town square , the street is quiet, lined with trees and gorgeous architecture. I found out that they charged me double for the same ring I found at my first choice for garnet stores. DOUBLE!!!! They would not fix my ring or give me my money back, or even the price difference. I would never go back to them and I would warn everyone who shops in Prague for jewelry to only go to authorized sellers of garnet jewelry.
