Food is not as good as it used to be. Got the honey chicken and it had a weird taste to it. Almost like the honey sauce was accidentally mixed with something tart or sour. I couldn't eat it. Ended up tossing it in the trash read more

The only reason I or we got food from here is my parents and sister started getting take out from here. There was another place they'd go and they closed. I've seen this place forever and just was like nahhhh. Well I'm literally eating my words. Great little neighborhood spot for quick Chinese takeout. Everyone is friendly, the food is always amazing and the prices are just right especially the lunch specials. I come here probably at least once a week. We come here very often and the employees treat us as if were friends or family. The portions that they give you are always big so have an appetite. read more

This is our favorite Chinese takeout restaurant! We don't venture out too far on the menu, but typically order some (or all): Steamed Dumplings, General Tso's Chicken, Honey Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, and the Chinese donuts. Food is always hot & delicious and every container is filled to the max, order has been correct, and service is prompt and friendly. Another plus: the sauce packets, utensils, and napkins are readily available on the way out! They provide the nice chopsticks (no breaking apart splinters to eat with!) The food was great and the lunch price is a steal. They also have coupons for free items with a certain dollar amount. You get lots of food for what you order (see my pictures). Only downside is there is no sweet tea for the tea lovers. read more

If you're looking for no-nonsense Chinese take-out, this is the place! We have eaten here for several years, and the food is always exceptional! This is not a chain and is owned by a very kind local couple, in fact. You'll almost always find one of the owners working there, small talking with regulars if the line allows. The prices are great, the portions are large, and the Sesame Chicken (my guilty pleasure) is superb. Of all the take-out places I've have in the city, this is my favorite by far! I want this place to be good, since we don't have a ton of good places in Dalraida. I ordered sesame chicken. It was breaded and cooked from frozen, so it was mushy. The sauce was bright red and tasted like sweet & sour instead of a sesame sauce. Next to no veggies. Yes, it's cheap, but what I had was so bad, I ate about a third and threw the rest out. I can get better Chinese elsewhere, or make it myself from a Publix frozen entrée. read more

I've visited this restaurant a few times because I do love Chinese food and this place is close to where I work. It's a quick and convenient lunch option. It's also inexpensive and you get pretty good portions of decent-tasting food. The $4.99 lunch specials are a pretty decent deal. Service is quick and the staff is friendly. That's pretty much the extent of what's good about Panda Inn. This is a typical narrow strip-mall takeout joint with a few tables for dine-in. The menu is pretty standard Chinese takeout stuff and none of it is outstanding enough for one to be compelled to go out of his or her way to get it. It's unlikely you'll try a dish here and some nights later think "Man, I wish I had me some of that right now!" Now for the bad stuff: On today's visit I noted they had a not-very-encouraging health rating of 88. I don't know what the violations were because the document was hanging behind the counter too far back to read. Secondly, and this I also learned today, AVOID the #11 combo which is the "Chicken with Chinese Vegetable." It is horrific. My lovely companion, who I have witnessed eating many a preposterous food I would never touch, simply could not stomach this dish. She tried to power through it but her gag reflex shut that notion down in a hurry. After nibbling two or three bites we decided to toss it and try something else, which is something we have NEVER had to do before ANYWHERE. I went back inside and got a Honey Chicken which she has tried before and liked. At this point a few people had come in and there was a short line at the register. The gentleman who I believe is an owner or manager had been handling food earlier but was now assisting the young lady at the register. To my profound dismay, he took orders and handled money- still wearing his blue latex gloves. After a few minutes of this he went back to the food prep area and continued to work STILL WEARING THE SAME GLOVES. Yuk. Ick. Eeeewwwww. The honey chicken was, as usual, pretty good. On the off chance she was being finicky, I tried a bite of my companion's chicken and was stunned by how bad it was. It was like thinly sliced foam rubber with some sort of slime coating. The taste was a combination of bland and spoilage. It haunts me even now as I write this. Everything we've gotten from Panda Inn has been pretty good but the "Chicken with Chinese Vegetable" is an abomination. I suspect that the health inspector originally gave the place a 100 score (providing he didn't spot anyone handling food with unsanitary gloves), but on his way out ordered this dish. I could imagine him getting in his car, trying a bite, then stomping back into the restaurant and ripping up the form he gave them, replacing it with one with the 88 score and the note " minus 12 points for that awful-tasting Chicken with Chinese Vegetable dish!!!" All considered, my chances of returning to this restaurant are slim at best. read more

I was excited to have a new Chinese take away 1 mile from the house...and was not disappointed. Located in the former Quiznos at Dalraida Commons(by Publix) Hopefully these good folks will beat the Quiznos curse, Or maybe they actually know how to run a restaurant. Classic Chinese take away ambiance, Some of the Quiznos hardware intermingled with the new Panda Inn logos. It appeared (and I'm hoping) this is a family operation, there did not appear to be any confusion behind the counter (unusual for new restaurants in the Gump). The menu is classic Chinese take away with everything you would expect to find. We sampled the pepper steak, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour soup, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken and chef specialty, Hunan double delight (beef and shrimp). Everything was better than expected and the bill was only $35 for all that food. Since Chinese food is always a favorite at my house, we will definitely be going back for a follow up. Their menu show a pretty righteous $4.99 lunch specials as well. My recommendation is to try them. All the best to my new neighbors at Panda Inn, see you for my next Chinese food fix. read more

Chicken wings with chicken fried rice at $5.99 is on the higher end of the scale for most Chinese places, however the wings were fresh and the rice is loaded with chicken meat which cannot be said of most places. read more
