Ordered Szechwan spicy beef (#43) and also chicken fried rice(#8) Hands Down one of the BEST little secrets by the Colorado river (Havasu/Bullhead/Topock/Laughlin area) Our Server was very attentive and very polite. Just phoned in a to go order, the Mongolian Beef lunch with steamed noodles instead of rice and was told 10 minutes. Huuumm. After arriving at the 10 minute mark and waiting another 10 minutes for my order I remembered why I hadn't gone to this dinner for a very long time. When I am told steamed noodles I get excited because you are inferring they are fresh made (this is an asian eatery) and not spaghetti that's been boiled in water.... Biiig disappointment because I was wrong, spaghetti it was. Then there wasn't enough sauce on the beef to give the noodles any flavor, never eat spaghetti noodles with asian food, it just doesn't work for me. Should have gone with the rice. The wonton soup and egg roll were good except you have to ask for dipping sauce because there was none in the bag.... I called for takeout and had the menu online and I still couldn't get it right ‍. The person who answers has a heavy Asian accent and even after asking several times, I still couldn't get what I wanted. I asked for 2 small hot and sour soups. He said small and medium the same. You want large. No, 2 of your smallest soups. Ended up with 2 large soups...Wanted chow mein. What arrived didn't look anything like the picture in the menu. The picture showed many vegetables. What arrived was noodle looking vegetable smothered in a heavy brown gravy. That got thrown out. The shrimp fried rice was very good. They do not provide combination plates that consist of 3 choices on one plate. It makes it very expensive to have to add a fried rice entree when what I actually wanted was a side. You can't substitute fried rice for white rice even if you offer to pay a small fee for the substitution. You need a menu describing the food, not just a title. Most importantly they need someone who speaks good English to take the telephone orders. People rave about the food so I think it must be good. It's just impossible to get what u want. The food is ready quickly. I picked up my order in 15 minutes. When taking the order on the phone they never asked for a name so I always wonder whose order I'm walking out with. Pretty solid food in a town that doesn't have a heck of a lot of options. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable fried rice, and spicy and tangy chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was solid, as was three fried rice although the "veggies" were a couple broccoli florets, some smaller mushrooms, and a couple snow peas. The spicy and tangy chicken was mostly mushrooms and as another reviewer mentioned, wasn't really spicy. That being said, the sauce in the dish was delicious. We got all dishes to go and they came with silverware and fortune cookies. The building is nothing fancy- it has about 12 tables or so and is clean. The staff were very friendly and the food was ready in about 10 minutes. We also appreciated that it was open later than the majority of other places in town. read more

4 or 5 stars should have been rated and given to this Chinese restaurant, but 2 of those were withdrawn due to the lack of greetings by the employees at this restaurant. That poorly trained female employee at this restaurant had acted poorly and unprofessionally as she didn't greet me as a customer, who was there and dined in around 2 weeks ago. She didn't say "hi" or "hello" to me and that's bad attitude. When I had walked in the restaurant on that day around the noon time, I even greeted them by saying "hello" several times when I couldn't see nobody in the restaurant at that moment. Suddenly, that female employee or worker appeared at the front desk and she voiced up as I could hear she was far behind me. But she was impolitely to greet me with just one word "ey!" while I was finding a cleaned table, but I couldn't find any of them to sit down while all messy things on tables in the middle of dinning room were not cleaned yet. I suggest and remind to those employees should reeducate or retrain yourself and be courteous - You must greet any customer with the word like "hi" or "hello", not saying or calling any customer "ey". And it was your bad fault when you hadn't greeted me first when I walked in for lunch at your restaurant. read more
