The food was fresh and tasty! I loved the pomegranate pineapple drink! It was refreshing and delicious. Will definitely be ordering it every time we come to Panda Express. The customer service was welcoming and the restaurant was packed. The seating area was clean and spacious. Our first time at this location and might be our new go-to location when we are in the mood for fast, affordable Chinese style food. read more

Panda Express - Rangoon, Beijing beef, brisket, noodles and steamed rice - Chinese Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Never again will I ever come to Panda Express. I only stopped here because I was hungry. The teriyaki chicken seemed more boiled then grilled, the rice has no flavor. Plus what happened to the teriyaki sauce, now you have to add the sauce yourself . read more

I recently visited your location and had a very disappointing experience that I feel needs to be addressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Evelyn, who seemed rushed and impatient. She was talking extremely fast, as if she wanted to hurry us out. When I politely asked if there was any beef and broccoli available, her only response was, "We close in 15 minutes." I clarified, "So the answer is no, then?" and moved on, but the tone was already off-putting. During checkout, she didn't ask if we wanted drinks. When I mentioned that I did, she told me it would be an extra charge, which is obvious, but again, her tone came off as dismissive. She also never asked whether our food was to-go or dine-in and just bagged everything automatically. We decided to dine in, but shortly after sitting down, Evelyn approached our table and said, "We close in 10 minutes." I responded that it was fine. Meanwhile, I noticed another customer--a woman who appeared to be homeless--was trying to get their attention because the ice machine wasn't working. Despite her efforts, both Evelyn and another coworker ignored her multiple times. I finally had to speak up and ask the staff to acknowledge her, and only then did someone go retrieve ice from the back for her. She was a paying customer and deserved to be treated with basic respect and dignity. Shortly after, two more gentlemen came in. Instead of greeting them, Evelyn bluntly said, "We close in 5 minutes. Is that okay?" They agreed, ordered food, and sat down to eat. Moments later, Evelyn approached their table and told them the restaurant was closed. They had to pack their food and leave mid-meal. Shortly after that, she came to our table and repeated, again, "We're closed." I asked if she wanted me to stop eating and leave, and she said, "No, I'm just letting you know we're closed," with clear attitude and eye-rolling body language. I told her she was being extremely rude, and she didn't apologize or show any concern. She seemed unbothered when I told her I would be contacting corporate. As we left, I saw the two gentlemen who had been asked to leave eating their meals outside on the hood of their car. That was the final straw. No customer should be treated that way, especially not while they're eating food they just paid for. If the dining area closes at a specific time, don't let customers in after that point. But once they're seated and eating, they deserve to be treated with respect--not rushed out or made to feel unwelcome. This experience was completely unacceptable. I hope Panda Express takes this feedback seriously and addresses the attitude and behavior of Evelyn at this location. Do better. read more

Ordered Panda for dinner tonight using door dash. I was happy that they were open for Christmas Eve. The food didn't taste like it does normal for panda. Usually panda is very flavorful but this time it was lacking. They may be busy for a holiday eve. I will give them another try. read more

Panda Express - Chinese Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Another one of my after school go-to dinner spots on a budget is panda express. However, I much rather walk inside than hit the drive-through. The key to dining at Panda is patience. I much rather wait an extra 5 to 10 minutes for a fresh bowl of steaming veggies than get served the last remaining bunch of wilted broccoli. The food is delicious when it is piping hot fresh off the grill. However, being a fast food joint sometimes the food can sit around for a little while making it go warm and not as crispy. A few times I got a bunch of broccoli from the drive-through instead of mixed veggies. That's just not cool. The drive-through can take just as long or longer than walking inside. My favorite is teriyaki chicken with veggies. It's nice and healthy and filling without the rice or noddles so you can come here on a diet, but if diet isn't on the menu, try the orange chicken. My kid's favorite is the walnut shrimp for a few bucks extra. Thanks for your reply Alexandra: the drive thru experience has definitely improved. More veggies in my order. Now can you do something about that one serving always smacking her gum over the food? I don't want her serving my plates. read more

I love panda but these couple of times I've gone it's been dissatisfying. I love the string bean chicken panda bowl with white rice but I've not been able to get that for awhile now since they never have those two items. Specially this last time I went I was told it would be 10 minute wait for that dish and I waited...until they took 30 minutes to let me know they hadn't even started that entree but all the other cars that arrived after me had received their meals. I wish I wasn't as hungry as I was that day I would've wanted my money back instead of settling for something else. read more

I hate this location with a passion. They're always out of EVERYTHING. But the customer service at this location is fucking PATHETIC. If the owner of this location ever knew how shitty of human beings their employees were they'd be pissed. I can't imagine how much money they lose a year from non repeat customers alone. And their worthless "managers/assistant managers" are a complete joke. They seem to be more concerned about being friends with the employees than actually keeping the place profitable. Never again. read more

Hats of to this store! Best Panda Express I've ever been to, great staff very respectful and helpful when trying new things! Plenty of seating room, fast service, love watching them cook up a fresh dish right in front of you. The first and last time I will ever go to Panda Express. My friend brought me here because he loves the food there and gets it as a treat sometimes after work. I guess I'm a bit spoiled having been accustomed to real Chinese food, but I was totally willing to try it out. Anyways we walk in the restaurant and which surprisingly has a line and I ordered the chicken and noodles. The chicken was so hard it was difficult to eat; I can't even imagine how long it had been frozen for, but clearly it was past its prime. I threw the rest out, it was so gross. The noddles were okay but it wasn't a very big portion and they didn't have much flavor. I don't know whether it is all locations or just this one but the thought of Panda Express grosses me out and I'll never go back to another one. read more

Panda Express - Orange chicken bowls - Chinese Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

For the first time since before the pandemic, I decided to go to Panda Express. Thankfully, the location on the north side near my home exceeded my expectations. For this, I decided to stop by this location less than a week later. Sadly, this location reminded me why I don't like Panda Express. This location informed us of an, "at most 10 minute wait". About 10 drive through orders and 25 minutes later, we received our food(it looks like they forgot about our order in the warmer). With our order we found an order of crab Rangoon missing, one plate given an incorrect side/entree, and utensils/fortune cookie for one(which there were three of us). Upon informing staff of the issue, the manager proceeding to inform us of another wait for the food. By the time one of us finished our meals, the third plate came out; however, the order was incorrect once again. At this point, we didn't even make them aware. I'm making this review while waiting for the third in our party to finish said incorrect order. The final icing on the cake was the fact that the Dr Pepper was out of syrup before we sat and after we left. From the lack of portions of nearly all the entrees, the lack of caring from any employees, and the inconsistencies from the other location, I can confidently say this location deserves its average rating or lower. read more

They're definitely under different management. I used to enjoy going to this location and now they're very rude, unwelcoming & unhelpful. Besides all of that, I was very skeptical about my food today I asked for a bowl and they gave me a plate with small portion of food with what looked like old dated orange chicke and rice. There was literally a damn roach on the food, I'm just very disgusted something needs to do something about this location because I do enjoy Panda Express so much, I just hate how a wrong team can ruin the experience here. read more

Well no the more I kept pulling on the hairs the more that came out of the rice how does that even happen? But if you liked hairs on your food this is the place to go. read more

I don't visit Panda Express often because too much oil is used when preparing the food. I like the variety of dishes offered, but I don't like the quality of the springs rolls or egg rolls. Panda Express - Half chow mein & half steamed veggies with Shanghai Angus Steak & String Bean Chicken Breast - Chinese Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

One Panda that should go Extinct. I had the extreme displeasure of going to this specific location not once, but on multiple occasions with a trend of constant disappointment, & consistently bad service, but today tipped the scale. Since it was 9pm & considering they were closing in one hour I ordered (3) plates exactly the same way Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef with half fried rice and half chow mein with (3) orders of crab Rangoons. The girl Ely was Vapid and seemed confused the entire time I placed my order Sam and Tonya were no help either. No one was calling out orders or even seem concerned with me or the food that needed to be dropped I waited 20 minutes for "fresh" Orange Chicken & Beijing Beef. When I was handed my order I informed Sam about the missing crab Rangoons She told me that that the hadn't been dropped yet. So yet again I waited. It had been 10 minutes and I inquired again about the crab rangoons to Christian who seemed surprised that we've been waiting they were just sitting in the warmer the whole time I was waiting, to my disbelief. Christian apologized for the inconvenience and offered me drinks, to which I expected. But 30 minutes for a simple order is UNACCEPTABLE read more

Foods always good but the drive thru take a while! If there's even one car ahead of you you'll wait over 5/8 minutes. Maybe it's just my luck, but it's pretty ridiculous. I'll only go here if it's empty. Customer service is decent. 6/10 read more

Hate to be so negative but I was waiting 25 min for chicken teriyaki then when it comes out 4 people got served the chicken teriyaki that had just walked in the door. Also the young cook on the left side of the kitchen at 6:10-6:25 picked up food from the floor with his gloves and didn't bother to change gloves. I understand that it's busy but ya need some system to give orders out the order they came in. I get the chicken takes a while but for those people to get it first when they didn't even wait 5 min and I waited 25 min is just silly. Then I get home and they didn't even give me my 2 egg rolls :/ this location is S**t! read more

This by far is the worst Panda Express starting with the staff inability to put cones out to control the traffic disrupting the line, the staff is rude and has an excuse for everything. They are constantly out of everything or not serving specific items because they don't want to make a new batch. It's impossible to get any kind of professional response.
