But seriously, Wash n' Wear is certainly my go-to place for my dry cleaning needs. The ate isn't the friendliest woman on the block but she is efficient and gets the job done so no need for her to be my best friend. What I like about Wash n' Wear is that my dresses always come back smelling heavenly. It's always made me curious how clothes are "dry cleaned". Only downside maybe is that it takes four to five days for them to clean the item. Thus, if your getting an item cleaned prior to an event, I suggest that you do it well in advance.

Their dry cleaning service is just as good, I bought my fur vest to them (which was refused by other laundry shops because of how delicate it is) and they were able to clean it without a hitch. I've done my laundry here once and I recommend it if you need some clean clothes as soon as possible, like for example if you're going on a trip and you have zilch to wear. Otherwise it normally take 3 days and it would have been P120 ($2.40 US). The area is a little lower class compared to Ortigas area, but there are a lot businesses around and I felt safe walking around there. The biggest cost would not be laundry but paying for Grab there and back P200 each way. I actually took the grab there and walked back to Ortigas with a backpack each time. It wasn't too bad of a walk. Probably 20-30 minutes to get to The Podium. There are motor-tricycle where you can sit in the cab available all around the laundry area. But they don't speak English at all, otherwise, that would have been a cheaper and fun way to get back to Ortigas area.

You can be sure that when you get back your laundry, there will be no funky smells, no leftover starch, and all the dirt and grime will be gone. That the place is popular can be seen by the overflowing stacks of done laundry ready for pick up anytime of the day. They may need to get a bigger place if the number of satisfied customers keeps growing, which is all the time. They will also be honest enough to tell you if they cannot handly your clothes, which was the case when my wife wanted Suds N' Mud to launder a dress she received as a present. The fabric was too sheer and sensitive, they told her. Better to take it to one of the bigger chains which do dry cleaning. One problem I've never had with them is my socks. They always come back in pairs. No losses ever. Just another laundry shop? No, sir. In my book, Suds N' Mud is outstanding.
