We had great burgers here. I added bacon to mine and my husband added caramelized onion and bacon. Burgers were cooked to order and were cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and their "spicy sauce" was great! This is exactly what we were craving after eating in an all inclusive hotel for 6 days. Loved our experience here!

Great little burger place!…read more Thick, flavorful patties and a variety of different options on the menu. My husband got the double meat angus burger and I got the hawaiana burger. Both burgers were delicious. You can watch the chef make the burgers in front of you fresh on the grill. The waiter was quick and friendly. They have beer, your regular bottled beverages (soda and water) and they had tea as well. Their green cream sauce has just the right amount of kick and goes great with your burger or fries. It's open air but has a nice breeze that comes through the back area. We will definitely come again!

I hesitate to write this, because the Burger House already gets pretty busy as the night goes on…read moreand I'll just have to wait longer as more people show up there, but here it goes. George (the owner and hardest worker there) deserves it. He's the guy behind the grill, if you want to know who George is. This is my go to cheeseburger restaurant in Cozumel. I have to go there at least once every trip. I have followed George from the first place I knew of that he had, which was a very primitive lean-to "shack" next to the Las Anclas Hotel nearer downtown, to the current location on Xel-ha. The place he is in now seems to be my favorite though. There is quite a bit more room for him to create his burger masterpieces now. There is also more seating area and part of it feels like you are in a jungle setting. And you can tell business is good because of all of the new employees. Glad to see it. So for this trip, I had to make sure it was still in the same place as before. It was. It's actually a little closer to my hotel now, about a mile walk, so that was good. I took the walk after dinner, but still wanted some onion rings when I got here. They were great, as always. They serve a small dish of dipping sauce that has an initial spicy "bite" you will feel in your mouth and on your lips for a few minutes, but the taste makes you want more. The onion rings were just as I remembered, and as I write this, my mouth is actually watering just thinking about them. After a nice cold coca-cola to cool me off, I said thanks to George and his server, and I was on my way. I knew I'd be back for a cheeseburger another day of the trip. That day was Wednesday. Note that he is usually closed on Monday and Tuesday, so don't go then. I had seen another guy at my hotel, who I had been diving on a boat with, order a cheeseburger at the hotel, so I told him about the Burger House. Afterward, he decided to go with me. Well we arrived rather early, probably about 8pm, and were able to find seats pretty easily in the back behind the grill. I placed my order for the Traditional and my friend ordered something that I wasn't paying attention to. I also ordered another order of onion rings to share this time. The food arrived, and the burger on my friend's plate was three hamburger patties high, probably close to about six inches high. It was huge. I really didn't think he would finish it, but to my surprise, every bit of it was gone by the time we left. He said he liked it, and I wouldn't think otherwise, because that was a lot of cheeseburger and I would never imagine anyone eating that much of one and not liking it. Mine was good, as always, too. So were the onion rings again. The spicy sauce for the rings also got a surprised reaction from my friend as well. That stuff complements the onion rings in a good way. Don't pass it up. So the check came for the two cheeseburgers, two orders of fries, an order of onion rings, and two bottles of soda, and it was $340 pesos, about $17USD. Not bad for all we were served. So I'll be back again next time, likely with more people to introduce to the restaurant, like I've always done in the past, but I just hope everyone else reading this review goes at a different time than I do, so I don't have to wait for mine. Good job, George and crew. Keep it up and we will see you again.

We knew…read morewe wanted to visit a beach club, but it was around 11am and the most popular ones fill up early. We were worried we weren't going to get in, but we got very lucky they weren't full! When we arrived, we were greeted and they explained its $25pp but that credit goes toward food/drink. We purchased 2 cocktails and an entree while there and it added up to our entry fee. The steak fries were good with a hint of buffalo and plenty of steak and toppings. The two drinks were strong enough and refreshing. They have a lot of loungers by the beach area, a pool next to it, and a restaurant with plenty of seating. Also, plenty of clean restrooms. Towels can be rented from the gift shop and as long as they are returned, they are $1. We had a server stationed by our beach loungers who took good care of us. We would definitely recommend this beach club for a relaxing, chill vibe! It was also family friendly.

Upon arrival we were told there was an entrance fee of about $20 but that the fee would go towards any food and drink purchase. We were sat at a table, and we all gave the waiter, our food and drink choices. The drinks were very good as were the food options we chose. The restaurant itself is in a great location with a nice pool and a small beach. Because it was rather windy on this particular day, I did not take advantage of utilizing one of their loungers. All in all, this was a great experience and I will definitely go back next time. I'm in Cozumel.

We arrived late afternoon and we were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. A nice solid menu of Italian/Mediterranean treats plus monthly specials posted on the exterior board. Full bar service, and plenty of Spanish wines offered. Prices are very reasonable and repeat that the service is excellent. In business approaching 30 years, this was our first visit and found it through a shout out on Yelp! The business is an American owned venture but very much offerings and atmosphere of a casual Mexican dinner. Some really interesting photographs throughout the restaurant that offer some insights into the island's history, the owners friends, and even her cats! We started with some wonderful empanadas and an octopus dish that was probably one of the best cooked I've had in memory. Great seafood options and daily fish specials. Like most of Central Cozumel, street parking can be a little tricky but not a showstopper. You may be interested in looking for a yard that offers car parking to get off the streets. We definitely will be back and highly recommend you check out this restaurant when in the area

Almost…read more The restaurant is tucked away from the main tourist strip, and walking in feels like discovering a hidden garden. At night, it really comes alive. Lanterns hang from the trees casting a warm amber glow, everything feels soft and intimate, and a live band playing low-key jazz ties it all together. It's cozy, a little romantic, and honestly one of the better dining atmospheres on the island. Hard to say how it translates during the day, but at night, it works. The Food The food holds its own, even if the setting gets most of the attention. By Cozumel standards, it's some of the better food we had on the island. The menu leans creative but still approachable. We tried a bit of everything. The Mexican dumplings were fine. Not bad, not memorable. The trio of guacamoles was a hit, especially the one with fruit and bacon, which sounds questionable but works really well. The queso was exactly what you expect. Good, comforting, not trying to reinvent anything. The standout surprise was the tortillas. Freshly made and easily one of the best parts of the meal. They elevated everything they touched. The meat tacos were also very solid, well-seasoned and satisfying. Dessert was the house specialty, a cornbread-based dish with ice cream and toppings. Don't remember the name, but I remember finishing it, which says enough. Service Service was good across the board. Friendly, efficient, nothing over the top but nothing missing either. Overall Kondesa is worth visiting for the atmosphere alone, but the food makes sure it's not just a pretty place. Come for dinner, take your time, and enjoy the setting. It's one of those meals where the environment does half the work and the food handles the rest.
