Which is fine, not every place does. What I didn't appreciate or find amusing was the fact that after I politely explained I would have to go elsewhere due to this fact (as I had left my wallet in my hotel and only had my AMEX in my truck), she proceeded to laugh in my face. Then said, "you don't want your order?" I replied "I would not be able to pay if they didn't accept AMEX." Which was followed by another over the top burst of laughter. If this is the way A&W treat their patrons, then I don't need it. And I won't be returning. In fact I think it'll be a long while before I go to any A&W location. Absolutely uncalled for and extremely inconsiderate and rude attitude. She's lucky I have more self control and consideration than her or I would have let her have it right there in front of everybody. Just horrible.
