There was only one place she wanted to purchase her accessories, and this place was Poze Accessories. It's well known for stocking quality items which can be used to accessorise any outfit. They have a large range of accessories, from shoes, to Jewellery items, bags and more. They normally have a lovely sales corner near the front but guess what my friend didn't want to visit this section. She headed straight for the more expensive items such as their shoes and jewellery; in the end she ended up spending a hundred pounds in the store on a couple of shoes and Jewellery pieces. The staff in the store are excellent, they are very helpful and they make sure you leave feeling well looked after. I haven't returned back to the store since I went in there with my friend but I do think that it's a great store to visit.

The shoe displays are divided into colour schemes, which is very convenient if you know what you're looking for. They have shoes from flats to ridiculously high platforms, so they've covered just about everyone's preference. As you walk in there is a sales-rack with shoes priced from as little as £10, which are hard to resist at that bargain! Further towards the back are bags. Most of them are clutch-bag designs and start from around £18. A lot of the designs are unique, which I haven't come across at other similar boutiques. The customer service is good. The staff tends not to engage in conversation although they will respond to any of your queries. The prices are average for the area and the quality of shoes is good.

Popular, and occasionally you will find a great sale on, they also have some nice outfits for men. Certainly take friends and family with you on your visit here. Whatever colours you prefer they sell. I like how they speak lots of languages, and it's more convenient for my mothers generation who knows that she trusts what they're saying about their garments when she can speak to them in her own language. I'd recommend visiting the store, car parking is available nearby, and the shop is served with bus routes regularly from the city and West Bromwich. Quite busy on the weekends though.

Despite the fact I have not brought anything from here, I have tried one or two sherwanis from Mairs. Just wearing them felt good and the only thing that prevented me from buying them was price. I did ask if they could reduce the price by a small amount but they couldn't. What I will say is that the staff here are very friendly and will help you if you need it. They will happily answer your questions and offer you advice. I did find some sherwanis had way too much embroidery but I guess there are Asians out there that like Indian suits with plenty of sequins/embroidery. If Mairs did lower their prices then maybe I would buy a sherwani from here. As well as Menswear, there are Asian Ladieswear on sale here as well.

The saris here are pretty decent and my family have been here on several occasions. My mother in particular enjoys coming here and has brought a couple of dresses for upcoming weddings. Not that my dad has been pleased about it since he has ended up paying for them. There are also Mens sherwanis on sale so there is something for Men and they are not waiting for their partners to come out of the store. No offence women but you do spend way to long in shops. I know exactly how Men feel when it comes to waiting for women to finish in shops. I would come back here for sure and prices are not bad although there are one or two items that are expensive. A decent shop to go to in my view if you are looking for something to wear at a wedding.

The exterior looks like a high-end boutique with gorgeous window displays. However, the same appeal is lacking inside. There are many staff members who tend to shadow you as you browse, which I personally find quite frustrating but I suppose they're attempting to give a personal shopping experience. The designs are quite exuberant and extreme for my taste, but if that is what you're into then it's worth a visit. They're far from reasonably priced with outfits at around £400, although this is about average in the local area. They stock a limited range of jewellery also. There is a pay and display car park next to the boutique, which has a corner location so it's hard to miss.

I took part in a bridal shoot in digbeth and was asked to pop along to CC where Jo would pick a dress for me! The dress was stunning and fitted me like a glove ( me and Jim nearly ran away and got married there and then). I had some stunning shoes by revive shoes to wear, covered in buttons and a fantastic head piece created by CC...I felt like a quirky princess. Jo has since moved her fantastic design area and creation studio to Fazeley St and when I visit I feel like Charlie in the chocolate factory. In awe of what I see & hoping I can hang out in the corner without being asked to leave! As well as making dresses, belts and headpieces you can also buy corsets and petticoats. Jo also stocks the shoes by Revive and Crown and Glory head pieces. I also noticed some felt bouquets by jamball. Please make sure you book a consultation if you want to pop in. Finally, if the team weren't busy enough, they also put on the eclectic wedding fayre in Birmingham and London, in conjunction with Assayination (wedding photographer extraordinaire) Just to note that Couture Company is now in Minerva works on Fazeley St

I purchased my gown in August 2024, and the alterations--specifically around the bust--were carried out between July and September 2025 by Barbara Aranguiz of Aranguiz London, as recommended by the shop. I picked up the dress on September 10 with the understanding that all alterations had been completed to the specifications agreed with Barbara, which included securely sewing in bra cups. However, I only discovered on the morning of my wedding that the cups had been merely tacked in rather than properly sewn, resulting in a noticeably gaping fit in person and in my photos. I returned to the shop on September 15, the first business day after my wedding, to address the issue. The process was frustrating--I felt brushed off by staff, particularly the manager and owner, who did not seem to take my concerns seriously or work to resolve the matter promptly. It took multiple calls and several visits before I finally received a refund for the alteration work. During this process, I spoke directly with Barbara, who acknowledged to me that the cups had not been sewn in properly. This situation caused a great deal of unnecessary stress and disappointment during what should have been a joyful and memorable time. Given the cost and significance of a wedding gown, I expected much better quality, professionalism, and care. I would strongly caution other brides to look elsewhere for alterations.

Not surprised since they're a bunch of pensioners doing this as a side gig and are being paid cash in hand. ALTERATIONS = DAMAGING of gorgeous dresses. The seamstress they are working with, Barbara, hasn't got a clue about anything. She is not even using a measuring tape... if you want to avoid VERY UNPLEASANT surprises with the most important item of your day don't go there. Every time I flagged a fault the reply was :"don't worry, babe, it gets sorted once pressed" there was simply no talking to her. Feel so gutted with the whole thing... my wedding is next week and I need to find a way to sort things out. What I bought as a £1500 brand new dress, now looks like something from a charity shop.
