They were matted and the groomer, Alma, assess them ahead and let me know that they were going to have to be quite short. What I didn't know was that Alma assess their skin and gave them exceptional care with her understanding of dry skin. When I pick them up their coat was soft and I could tell that a lot of their skin issues were no longer causing them problems. She had taken great care to give them what she called a mud bath which helped their dry, itchy skin. I highly recommend giving this grooming Business a try. They are hard-working and they do know what they're doing.

It's been nearly 2 years since I brought my dog to Spaw Fitness to be groomed and I have not…read moreforgotten how traumatized he was. He woke me up several times that night after I brought him home. He was agitated, seeking comfort. He'd been nicked and in some spots was shaved so close the skin was exposed. When we first arrived -- before I left him to be groomed -- he responded with panic. I have felt such regret for not listening to him and the plea in his gaze not to leave him. I wonder what he sensed. I will post a photo of how he looks after an excellent grooming elsewhere, and another of how he looked when I picked him up from Spaw. I didn't post a review at the time because I felt the owner was nice and meant well -- but I can't drive past the business without a shudder.

For the first appointment, I stayed and watched, and I was blown away by how gentle, patient, and attentive they were. They truly prioritize each dog's comfort and emotional well-being, not just getting the job done. After only two grooming sessions with them, our pup is wagging her tail and genuinely excited to see them. Before, she would often have ear issues after baths, and now she has none. The difference has been remarkable. It's obvious how much they love animals and take pride in their craft. They even compete in grooming shows and consistently do very well. Our dog looks absolutely beautiful every time, scheduling is easy and convenient online, and above all, they genuinely care. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and wouldn't trust our dog with anyone else.

When her fur gets to this point, we know its time to call for help, as we're not comfortable taking scissors to our cat's fur. We stumbled upon Tao's business on Yelp and are very happy she was able to come over to our home for the grooming service. Not having to transport our cat saved us a ton of trouble, so I'm very thankful for that, as our cat has a lot of anxiety when it comes to car rides. When Tao arrived, she set up her grooming tools on our kitchen counter next to our sink and was able to get right to work once we brought our cat over. During the grooming session, we helped Tao hold down our cat while she carefully cut out the matted sections of fur with a pair of scissors. Tao did a great job trimming our cat's nails as well. Overall, it was a very pleasant and smooth experience and I would definitely recommend Tao's services if you're looking for cat grooming services.
