There are several rooms. Our server was just lovely so nice. We ordered breakfast, and everything was quite good. The coffee was so good, and I love the little pieces of soft cheese that came with breakfast. The apple cake was also delicious. This is a great spot, and I wish we had a hard time to go back for lunch or dinner. If you are coming to prague, this might be a place you want to put on your list. If nothing else you can say you ate where the intellectuals ate, and you can feel a little smarter.

I was really looking forward to trying some traditional Czech dishes here after seeing this café…read morerecommended in so many blogs, so I decided to stop in for dinner. The interior is beautiful and has a lot of historic charm, which really adds to the experience. Service was also excellent--everyone was professional, attentive, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the slow-braised beef shank, but the meat was surprisingly tough and didn't have that fall-apart tenderness I was hoping for. We also tried the braised beef with the creamy sauce, and unfortunately, the beef had the same issue. I really wanted to love the food given the beautiful setting and all the recommendations, but unfortunately, it just didn't quite live up to the expectations.
