I can't say enough about this place it was hands down our favorite place to eat here in Prague... I…read moredon't care it wasn't authentic (we ate plenty of that too), it was perfection and some of the best (if not, THE best) breakfast I have ever had. We are from Seattle and self proclaimed foodies for sure. We were in Prague 5 days, we ate here least once a day here. The eggs Benedict, I can't even... I am forever ruined, in fact this might be the main reason I looked at purchasing a property while here ;) well that and we fell in love with Prague! Do yourself a favor eat here (and at their bakery next door), you will not be disappointed.

We wanted to like this hip & friendly eatery. However, it was NOT to be despite a local's tip to…read morecome in the first place. I ordered the poached egg and avocado spread on bread with smoked salmon. And things totally went downhill from there... At first glance the plate looked nothing like an earlier photo from just a few months ago. Hidden under the rustic sweet potato shreds was one really sad dish. The Letdown: On bread slice was a tiny spread that barely tasted like avocado. From there, I found the "poached" egg was overboiled, and one of the pear slices was actually rotten. It boggled my mind that this could be served. The shreds of smoked salmon looked like leftovers, and was that an old slice of lemon that topped it? If those weren't enough, the bottom of the bread was seriously burnt. Almost comical how every element of the dish was poorly prepared. Yes, I should've returned this to the kitchen. But I was reminded of the misgivings in Kitchen Confidential. On a side note: there is rarely complimentary water in Europe and it was not the case here either contrary to earlier reviews.

Mediterranean cuisine/fish lovers rejoice, Peperoncino is just the place for you…read more I love this little spot in Letna - it ticks all the right boxes for a great restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious - as I mentioned, I am especially keen on their fish (they always seem to have at least two fresh types on daily offer) or seafood (their octopus main is really yummy). But there are also delicious options for carnivores, and excellent Italian desserts to top the evening off with. The location is very convenient whether you come by public transport or by car, but because it's tucked away in a smaller street not dead in the busiest center, the dining experience is never too crazily busy like it can be in the most popular central spots at times. Overall, the atmosphere is really cozy - the interior is simply rustic and suited for a romantic dinner. And if the weather in nice, the outdoor garden is lovely. The serving staff always seemed genuinely nice, too. With prices around 150 for a starter and on average 250 - 300 for a main, this is not the cheapest dining experience in Prague, but the quality of the meals is well worth the prices. (Also, the pasta mains are cheaper, at around 150 per meal) Oh and dog lovers - feel free to bring your well behaved doggie along - they are welcome not just in the garden, but even in the interior.

Great Italian food in Prague is not an oxymoron. Don't let the cute but empty restaurant deter you…read morefrom discovering the magical courtyard waiting in the back. If you need to take a break from the local cuisine this is a good option in a great setting. The true sign of its standing is the fact that it's filled with locals, which is the best review one can receive.

There is plenty of seating and all the pastries are displayed beautifully. The waitress allowed me to sit outside and provided me with some menus. The dinner menu had plenty of drink options and a couple food options. I decided to opt for a cold brew coffee and the burrata with a roasted bell pepper and nut spread. The food came out after about 7 minutes. The bread looked beautiful while maintaining a soft inside and crisp outside. The spread with burrata was also a pleasant sight with glowing piece of cheese contrasted by autumn colors including the pomegranate, balsamic caviar, and pepper spread. The food tasted delicious with the creamy burrata contrasted by the sweet and smoky pepper spread. Such a pleasant cafe located in Prague 7. At the time of writing this, there was some construction being done outside so seating inside may be your best bet. Nonetheless, the atmosphere and food was incredible here which fostered one of the better experiences I've had at a cafe in Prague.
