As someone who always struggles with trying to figure out what the "right" thing to order is, I absolutely loved not having to worry about this and rather sitting back and enjoying the vibes/ talking to strangers while awaiting "surprise" dishes. They were also able to cater to my vegan diet with every dish being so unique and tasty. We came by twice and between the two visits every dish we had was different. This was overall probably the most fun and tasty meal we had in Mexico City Some tips: - the restaurant is cash only so make sure to bring cash - there's no reservations so make sure to come early because lines are common. We got lucky in that we stopped by on weekdays when it was less busy

The concept sounds great. The wait list sounds organized. But no. We were told to put our name in WhatApps for a 40 minute wait. We rushed back in time and still waited another 30 minutes for a communal style table. Then, food came out in rounds, but the rounds were for all tables at the same time, so there was a 20-30 minute wait between each dish, about the size of a palm of the hand. There were no utensils, so we ate everything by hand. While waiting for the food, a street vendor came by to sell carpets. We were extremely tired at this point and decided to leave after 2 underwhelming dishes and 1 dessert. The total time was over 1 hour to wait for a table and over 1 hour for only 3 unfulfilling dishes. I do not trust the Michelin system and this place is a proof of it. Food was good, but by no means excellent or out of this world. Had they brought out the food after 10 minutes, it would have been more acceptable. It wasn't worth the hype in my opinion due to the extreme wait and hold between each dish. I and family also felt extremely gassy soon after, and mind you, this was our first lunch in CDMX. There were only 4 communal tables, about 30 seats. No restroom! Cash only or local transfer.

If you're tired of Mexican food (I could never) but we tried this place on the recommendation of a local. Great classic Neopolitan pizza. It's all about the pepperoni pizza and the white pizza with mushrooms. The salads were also delicious. We got the ice cream and that was dreamy! Will definitely be back!

If you have children, I would honestly think twice before stopping at Felix…read more We chose Felix because we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and the crisp Mexico City morning. When we arrived, they allowed us to sit outside and put two tables together for our family. A little while later, a woman who I assume was a manager came over and explained that the tables could not be put together. She was very kind about it, and we had absolutely no problem moving them back. I completely understand restaurant policies. Unfortunately, everything after that made us feel very unwelcome. Our waiter was nice, but he barely checked on us compared with the other tables. There was also another woman overseeing the outside area who was walking around greeting and checking on nearly every table except ours. I don't know if it was because we had children, because we wanted to sit outside, or because we had originally put two tables together, but the difference in service was very noticeable. I asked for a menu and waited about 30 minutes before having to wave someone down again. After that, it still took another 20 minutes to actually get the menu. At no point during all of this did anyone come over to take our food order, while we watched other tables arrive, order, eat, and receive attentive service. At that point, I should have left much earlier, but I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. Eventually, I paid for our coffee and we left. We walked literally across the street to MAQUE, and the experience was NIGHT AND DAY. They were welcoming, accommodating, attentive, and wonderful with our family. We still got to sit outside in the front, enjoy the beautiful weather, and they even had live entertainment. Honestly, it ended up being such a better experience!! I know one Yelp review isn't going to make or break Felix, but I wanted to share this because it was very obvious that other guests were receiving great service while we were being overlooked. Whatever the reason was, we did not feel welcomed, and the service was incredibly disappointing. Felix, please do better!!! Every guest should feel acknowledged and welcomed including families with children. Sorry it messed up your Aesthetic! Translating this to Spanish...
