In apartment C there are holes in the ceiling, water damage and leaking EVERYWHERE. The electricity inside of the apartment will surge out anything plugged into it. The oven provided to me as in accordance to the lease was dangerous and a hazard and it was never replaced. The doors do not fit into the door jams in the least and bugs and cold/hot air comes in freely. If you try to use the three inches of front yard he will yell at you. If his mother shows up, HIDE! She will lie to her son and say you gave her attitude and he will tell you you can go ahead and get out. Take pictures when you leave! Shane did not replace the carpet when we moved in as we had an agreement not to. We told him since we have kids there would be no point, and he stated he would just replace it when we left. It Was damaged with loose strings that would catch in my vacuum, cut out holes, and staining when I moved in. This man is trying to charge me over $1000 to replace a carpet he claims my family damaged after making an agreement with us to not do just that. He also will claim to have the property "cleaned" after you leave, with a running cost of 90$ per hour for 9 hours. The company cleaning? Shrewsberry LLC. HIS MOTHER CLEANS IT! None of this is even to mention allowing people with warrants to hide in the property, attack other tenants, and use the property to slam on the walls and harass tenants. I pressed charges and there are court documents to prove this. The little over a year I spent renting from this man was one of the worst experiences of my life. If you value your peace, time, sanity, and money go literally anywhere else.

I am currently renting a 4x4 standard apartment and my rent is $670/month + $50/month for electric. That's a grand total of $720 a month for my own bed and bathroom. Personally, I think it is worth it. The location of the apartment complex is wonderful. It is very close to campus and near many restaurants. My apartment is very spacious as well. The common area (kitchen and living room) is surprising large. The bathroom in my room are enormous and is somewhat unnecessary. The room itself is quite cramped. It is OK if it's just you in your room but if you have another person in your room, it gets annoying constantly maneuvering around one another. The bathrooms should have been made smaller and the rooms should have been made bigger. The internet is also decent. It gets spotty at times which can be quite frustrating. I contacted the internet service provider, Pavlov Media, a few times when I had internet issues but they were no help. The problem eventually went away on its own. My biggest complaint about Campus Pointe was the condition of my apartment upon move in. It was horrendously dirty. Dust piled up in every air vent, spider webs in the corners, food crumbs from previous residents under the stove and fridge, stains in and around my toilet, grime buildup in the shower, dust and junk underneath the sink and in the drawers, dirty where the hot water tank is, and EXTREMELY filthy carpets in my room. The picture I have attached to this review is from August 18th, the day I moved in. The vacuum was also brand new, fresh out of the box. The cleaning people Campus Pointe had hired we asked to come back to my apartment three separate times clean more or re-clean things. Campus Pointe was very nice about the situation and even offered to hire different cleaning people to clean our entire apartment. All in all, Campus Pointe is an excellent place to live and I highly recommend it to any and all current or future Kent State students! A flat rate of $50 for electric and all other utilities included, furnished apartments, personal bed and bathrooms, internet, cable, in-unit washer and dryers, great workout room, a pool, and absolutely wonderful staff is unbeatable! (FYI: I do not work for Campus Pointe. I am only a resident.)

Just save your money and got to Walmart do not spend your money in those markets folks. Lastly Prentice Cafe is also here. The food selection is strictly GLUTEN FREE, so don't get mad. I personally don't have a gluten issue but it's pretty good so don't hate at least try it. The food with the unlimited swipes and such is okay but I'm paying too much for it to be this crappy. My concerns are the shootings I have witness one shooting in the entrance of my apartment complex. But we are on the 3rd floor so sad to say my kids are I were safe, but I felt bad for the people on the lower floor. I have called the emergency maintenance on 6/6/25 addressing my concerns about my bathroom cabinet that fell off when I opened it, my dishwasher that was leaking very badly, my sink stopper broke randomly, and the A/C doesn't work at all. It was 90 degrees in my apartment multiple days, and my two children and I were unlivable hot. While I was on the phone with a women telling her my concerns, she gave me the worst attitude trying to intimidate me to not call and complain again. Someone did come but he told me there is nothing he can do, and a man named mike will be coming Monday to fix things. Monday came no one came. A letter was on my door saying that someone will be coming on 6/11 to fix my problems around 11 am-5pm. It also said if I was not there, they will still enter so I was not worried about them coming in I just wanted my stuff fixed. I am paying to live here why are my things not fixed? All day on 6/11 no one came, I called off 6/12 just to see if someone would come and no one came. I them told the manager about my concern and the letter I received. He told me he was not told about it and will get back to me. That was on 6/18 it is 6/26 now and still nothing was done. I think it's unprofessional that my needs are not met when I'm paying to live there. I already know I will have to ask someone I know to come and fix my stuff for me because they will never come; No matter how much I complain about it. The A/C is really a BIG problem people can get very sick from dehydration and there are children living there. I am very scared for them and other residents. I keep telling myself it's my own place, it's my own place but I'm also thinking next April I`m moving tf out. I would not recommend until there maintenance gets more professional and fire that receptionist on the emergency maintenance hotline. She is rude and unprofessional, rushing me off the phone, cutting me off, deep breathing, and hanging up on me mid-sentence. I have never been disrespected like that in my life. Where do I begin...whatever you do, where ever you live, DO NOT LEASE AT ENVISION APARTMENTS!!!!! I…read morelived there for 2 years and at first I thought it was nice, a little pricey but nonetheless I thought I had something good. Then the problems began at move in. 1) This property has paid parking, so before I began to move my things into the apartment I made sure that I could park in the parking lot while I moved without getting a Barnacle on my windshield. A leasing associate assured me that it would be fine to park in this location whilst moving. I left to get the rest of my belongings and came back to a Barnacle on my windshield. There was no accountability, instead she told me "Next time make sure you get a visitors pass." as if she wasn't the person who told me I could park there. I later learned that this would be a warning for problems with parking later down the line. 2) Throughout my stay in Envision, I had to contact maintenance more frequently then I would prefer. Even in the first month when my roommate's toilet paper holder broke (as did my friend's who lived in another building and mine did later as well...CHEAP!!). Additionally, throughout the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, there were numerous times when maintenance staff would enter my apartment without even thinking about wearing a mask. It was disgusting, coughing and hacking into the open air with no mask on like a child. At one point, there were at least 3 maintenance workers in the unit with no mask on. When they finally did fix my toilet paper holder, the job wasn't completed. He only put on one side of it. 3)The customer service in this establishment was laughable. At one point, I had a property manager going back and forth with me like a teenage girl over the phone. This staff has invaded my privacy by sharing something I posted on a private social media account with the building manager which is what caused the childish phone call. I have never talked to anyone in the leasing office in a manner that wasn't respectful, so imagine my shock when a grown man called me to argue about something I posted on my Snapchat concerning another invasion of privacy and instance of unprofessionalism on their end. 4) Parking is $50 a month, this was not a problem until winter came and the plowing company they hired did a terrible, cheap job and plowed directly into the already limited parking spaces. Not only that, the sidewalks were never shoveled or salted. I cannot tell how many times I've fallen outside on the way to my car. It got so bad at one point that people had no choice but to park on packed in snow. It also wouldn't be so bad if they didn't consolidate all filled rooms to the first few buildings because at least 100 units were vacant. No wonder when I moved in the leasing agents told me THEY don't even pay for parking. 5) There is ZERO security outside of a locked front door at these locations. At move in, you are told there there is security staff and cameras on the premises and none of those claims are true. The security cameras have tape over them and the leasing staff told me and my roommates while viewing the building that they don't even work. If you decide to live here, bring self defense. 6) The amenities are DISGUSTING!!!! The laundry room always smelled like mold and mildew and was barely cleaned, in one of the pictures you can see actual mold and dust INSIDE THE WASHER! The washing machines stained my clothes and my sheets a few times and the dryer never fully dried my clothes in one cycle, one time it took 3 and it wasn't an oversized load. The fitness center was dirty and outdated. The office/study room had no wifi unless you lived in that building. The lounge was dark and for the majority of my time there seemed like a dumping ground for messed up furniture. 7) I found green and black mold by my air vent and Greg Golden (Current property manager) told me there was nothing he could do to rectify the situation despite my being sick for the past month due to mold exposure. HEED MY WARNING AND THINK TWICE ABOUT MOVING HERE!!!!!

Maybe there were enough strange, unsettling things that happened to make me question my lack of belief in ghosts, but Hogwarts. Sure you can't have guys in your room(or maybe you can now... It's been a while since I lived a dorm.) but who cares? There's no all boys dorm so you can slink off to his dorm if that's your priority. Embrace your inner Hermione and get on their waiting list ASAP!
