I had become accustomed to being treated as a science project by doctors, never experiencing the compassion and understanding from them. But then, on May 5th, 2023, I decided to take a leap of faith. I had heard about acupuncture and its potential for holistic healing. Although I had never tried it before and didn't know what to expect, I knew I needed a change. I was determined to share my story if it could help someone else. Walking into the acupuncture clinic, anticipation and uncertainty. I filled out the necessary forms, holding nothing back as always I shared her full medical history with Dr. Meng. I been through a lot so you kinda become strong in many different ways, very independent woman who wanted to explore holistic healing rather than relying on pills. So I had embarked on this journey in January and felt fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Meng, who I nickname "the Windex cleaner" for her ability to bring clarity and healing to my mind body and soul . With each session she wiped away a little fog or helped me see through my blind sides see through to the facts and left me with a incredible different perspective on how to view life. The needles touched my skin I felt totally fine at first then out of the blue experienced a sudden surge of emotions.
