My first and only…read morevisit to this dentist consisted of a dental cleaning by the doctor that took less than 10 minutes. No cancer screening examination. Clinical hygiene issues that left me very concerned that I could get an infection from the visit. The dentist did not practice any form of hand hygiene. He simply changed his outer pair of latex gloves for new ones. He was wearing filthy surgical scrubs that he'd clearly been wearing all day long. Some of the dental instruments were severely scratched and worn. I did not ask about an autoclave or sterilization procedures, but I know from my experience working in a hospital that any instrument that scratched should be discarded immediately. You also have to change all of your PPE completely between patients after you wash your hands, even if wearing gloves. Safety concerns, quality of care and antiquated equipment all combine to eliminate this practice from future consideration for me.

I had an issue with one of my teeth and called to see if I could get in any earlier. I came to find that the doctor I was scheduled with was not on the website anymore. I asked the person on the phone, and they were very confused about who I was talking to. I come to find that they just started. I understand that they are new, but as a business, would it be good to let them know that there were three doctors there and have left recently? Also, really, you can not call your patients and let them know that their doctor has moved to another location. I would have gone out there and then realized that and had to leave, and it's a long drive for me. It was not right not to inform them participants of a huge change like that, and on top I even have in my file that I can only see one as of my assurances. So I have found the doctor that I wanted to see and can now get in even earlier, so that is a plus, but really, please inform your customers before the day of the appointment of a huge change like that.

From the moment we walked in, Ms. Cooke was highly disrespectful. When she aggressively pointed out that my other two children couldn't go to the treatment area, I politely explained that I knew the policy and that we were just signing in before waiting in the car. I had to keep this specific appointment because my daughter was in severe pain, and the next available opening wasn't until December. Later, the kind dental assistant explicitly told me she would bring my daughter back to the lobby right after her X-rays. Despite this, Ms. Cooke rudely demanded that my children and I clear out and wait outside immediately. When I mentioned what the assistant had told me, she defensively demanded, "Who told you that?" An environment catering to children in pain requires empathy, not hostility. Due to Ms. Cooke's unacceptable behavior, I will never bring my child back here or recommend this practice. There are plenty of other options that provide great pediatric root canals--we will be taking our business to Todays Dental Partners from now on, where patients are actually treated with respect
