The energy in the space is palpable and everyone seems happy to be there: the doctors, the front desk staff, techs, and patients. The space is clean, the music is great, and the seasonal decorations are a cherry on top! They really bring joy to chiropractic care! I also appreciate their focus on sustainability - the care plans they utlilize address root issues of pain, consider holistic well-being, and discuss preventative care. A few weeks ago, just after I turned 39, my body decided to give me a present and break my back. I was getting out of bed when suddenly I fell to the floor in pain. My wife, who is a health and wellness professional, knew something was wrong. When she called the practice in a fit of panic, he calmed her down and told her to tell me to come on in for an evaluation the same day. I suffer from spinal stenosis: lots of pain/stiffness in my lower back and right leg, so walking can be challenging. I also have difficulty standing upright/straight. I've gone the epidural and radiofrequency ablation route with minimal positive results. A friend suggested seeing a chiropractor. Out of the blue, I chose Palmercare and I'm glad I did! I chose Palmercare since they advertised acupuncture and massage. Only to find out they don't offer these services in DC. They should update their website since this is misleading. I'm not quite sure what is going on with their front desk staff but I have had numerous issues with making appointments no one seems to check their voicemail or answer the phone when I call during business hours. They accidentally kept my ID over a weekend which was a huge inconvenience to me and they never called or left me a voicemail to tell me it was there. However, the Chiro (Eric) I had in DC was nice and did a great job which makes this review even harder but I won't be returning. read more

I have never visited a chiropractor before but after suffering from back/neck pain and headaches and finding limited or no relief from massages, stretches, or acupuncture and not wanting to rely on pain killers I figured it was worth a shot. My consultation and intake was incredibly thorough and Dr. Myles explained in detail what was going on with my back and neck and how they could treat it.
