Shane Rice was hired to photograph my daughter and son-in-law's vow renewal. After paying Mr. Rice…read more$1500 months in advance I had to continuously call Mr. Rice to ask when and where the engagement photos and bridal shoot would take place. Both of these shoots produced maybe 15 usable photos. He spent less then 15 minutes on the bridal shoot and all but 2 were horrible and very unflattering. At the vow renewal he had the audacity to do a mini photo shoot for members of his own family and charged me for it. There were no photographs of the groom's family. Out of 1000 photos Mr. Rice gave to my daughter (he didn't even have the respect to give the flashdrive to me) maybe 40 were acceptable. I would NEVER use Shane Rice Photography again and I suggest no one else does either unless you want your money wasted and a special event ruined.

Do not use Lydie J Photo!…read more This was an terrible experience. We contacted Lydia Gross back in November '21 to shoot our wedding in September '22. Lydia set us up with a contract. Over the year we had multiple conversations and even had a video chat. She seemed trustworthy and over all had decent work. We made payments to her every 3 to 4 months per the contract as a deposit. We were in talks with her and she is the one that recommended a anticipation shoot before the wedding. She never showed. It was at this point we started to think things weren't right. Over the 2 weeks leading up to our wedding we attempted to contact her several times. Lydia was updating her Instagram during this time but couldn't respond back to us. It was in our own research that we found out that Lydia had moved back home and didn't have any plans to make the wedding. 4 Days before the wedding she reached out to us and stated below: "I am beyond sorry for the horrible communication on my end. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I will not be able to travel up north for the wedding. I initiated a refund for you guys through honey book and have reached out to a couple photographer friends for coverage of the wedding day. I'll forward contact information as soon as I hear back from one of them." Lydia never contacted us again. It took Lydia another 6 days to start the refund process. Meanwhile we had to pay the other photographer out of our pockets that we had to scramble to get last minute. Lydia updated her Instagram stories the whole time though. Lydia is a classic scam artist. Please do not trust anything she has to say she will lie right to your face.

YOU HAVE FOUND THE BEST ON THE GULF COAST!…read more Tammy and Jason are the most personable yet professional photographer duo you will ever find. Given my love of photography, my wife put me in charge of finding the perfect photographer for our wedding. We interviewed A LOT of respectable photographers along the Gulf Coast and reviewed just about everyone's portfolio in detail. I could not have been happier with our decision. Tammy and Jason have this down to a true art. Tammy has a lot of fun with the babies and making them smile while Jason is scanning the group to make sure people are visible and in flattering positions. They do it so seamlessly. Our formal portraits were a blast! They are so engaging and fun for all three events they did for us. You can tell this is not just a job for them, but they live and love this life. Their equipment is also top notch. Between the cameras (and backup cameras), the lighting, and their comm system they will not only take great pictures, but help you and the coordinator to make sure your wedding is PERFECT. Their price is very fair. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best. When your wedding is over and you are sharing stories with your growing family, the photos is what you will have. Honest to goodness some of the photos we got back could be covers to wedding magazines. I can't wait to use them again for our baby pictures when the time comes. You know you picked the right vendor when your friends and family are raving about them months after the event... "Worth every penny!", "Such amazing people." Our wedding was perfect and it was in part due to Jason and Tammy.

I researched, interviewed, and rummaged through so many portfolios all over Alabama, that by the time I decided on Keyhole I knew without a doubt they were the best! The pictures are absolutely beautiful, they really know how to tell a story. I can honestly say some of the greatest photos I have ever seen are the photos of my wedding. If your looking for a documentary style then go with Keyhole. There are no forced, awkward, or interupted moments. They are very interested in you, your wedding, and your day and I promise they will capture it without ever getting in the way or stepping on any toes. You won't even know they are there if you don't want to. But honestly, it would be a bit of a waste not to get to know them while they are with you because they really are good, genuine people! So anyways, stop researching (I already did all that) and hire Keyhole.
