Where can I even start with this young lady... I got to know about Lacey through a friend of mine who got all her wedding pictures done from Lacey. I had to ask my friend at her wedding as to who the photographer was behind all these beautiful pictures because I was just beyond in love with what I saw. Lacey is amazing at what she does. If I could describe her photo style in few words, following words would come up to my mind; Candid, Natural, Just literally pretty and pure at its finest. Her style is not what you usually observe from other photographers who do portraits. She has a very artistic approach to her work, which I loved. I honestly had a horrible day on the shoot day; the lady who was in charge of my styling took forever and sadly I arrived at the meet up location late. As a person who takes punctuality very seriously, I felt extremely bad so I did what I could do at least at the moment - Keeping Lacey updated via text. It was such a relief from my end that Lacey was so cool about it; it was very professional and understanding gesture of her. Due to this styling disaster and punctuality issue, I had an anxiety attack that day yet Lacey's suggestion and guidance made me feel a lot better. By the end of the shoot, I was back to normal (haha). I was indeed scared when I received the email from her saying that the photos were ready because I thought it was gonna be a disaster but hey! the final products were surprisingly pretty! And I give all the credit to Lacey so thank you so so so much. For those of who are scared of the shoot because you have never done it before, book with Lacey! She literally tells you how to pose and what to do! Worth every penny. P.s: Just a little tip from myself; If you are planning on booking with Lacey, do it NOW because this talented lady is booked up all the time. I have waited 2 years to write this review and for 2 years I felt really guilty about all the bride to be's out there wasting their money and booking Lacey as their photographer for one of the most special days of their life and having her as their photographer. Her prices are high, her service is shit, only half of the photos were usable and the other half were missing some really major moments- not a single bridal or groom solo!!! Arrived 30 minutes late to the reception and the entrace included fireworks and she said "someone should have told me"- I told you by telling you what time to arrive like WHAT?? Zero outreach, communication was always from me, she canceled our engagement photo session after we had already booked tickets and hotels and scheduled all of our other wedding appointments around since we were flying in from California- zero attempts to reschedule, zero apologies, zero engagement photos for the wedding. I mean there was no lack of trying to blame everything on us- we are across the country! Every single shot her second shooter took had to be tossed. They were so embarrassing and beyond amateur. You will see her best work on her site so I will add some of the ones she doesn't show you later on if I can bring myself to. The few pictures we got from Lacey that we liked were great! But there was so many mis-steps, the worst communication and just a terrible overall experience. Please do not hesitate to contact me I could go on and on but every time I think about this experience it truly upsets me to the extent that we still have never printed a wedding book because we don't have enough photos to fill in the story- not a single food photo, no photos of our lovely center pieces, no bridesmaids dresses, we arranged a lovely gift bag for all the guests I wanted photographed but the shitty second shooter got her hands on those so total moot, she was also in charge of the groom/groomsman getting ready so no suit photos.... take my word for it there are sooooooo many great photographers out there and I thought I had done my due diligence so when I had red flags I kept ignoring them but I should have canceled her the moment she nonchalantly canceled out engagement shoot. read more

My husband and I stumbled upon Lacey by luck! Not knowing about her work beforehand, we had actually hired another photographer to cover our Sonoma, CA wedding. She brought Lacey as her associate/assistant photographer for the day. How lucky were we to have 2 great photographers?! I'm not quite positive which specific images were edited by which photographer, but Lacey posted one image on her Instagram account, and I absolutely loved it - the colors, light, the moment - just perfect. (I'm sure that specific photo had to be her editing). Overall, Lacey's sweet and calm demeanor kept me at ease on the day of the wedding; she was a pleasure to communicate with afterwards; and the photos are just beautiful and captured the spirit of the best day of our lives. At first she took awhile to respond to my email and then she just stopped responding. Maybe she didn't need or want me as her client. Don't let her soft demeanor fool you. Lacey is a serious photographer! My husband and I recently spent 7 days in New Orleans to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We hadn't had professional pictures taken since then and called several in the NOLA area. After several of them flaking or wanting to charge us the same price as a full wedding, we (fortunate for us) came across Lacey. She happened to be available on the day of our anniversary and said she'd be happy to do a session for us. We decided we wanted to take photos in one of the oldest cemeteries in the city and she was excited to do so. Come to find out, she'd wanted to do photos there since she'd moved to NOLA from San Francisco and was excited to take the project on. From the moment we met her, we felt perfectly at ease. It was a chilly day, even for New Orleans in March, but she was a trooper, giving no indication that the cold or the biting wind made one bit of difference. She was open to our suggestions about little corners of the cemetery that would make good photos as well as directed us on poses and backdrops. After the cemetery, we wandered the streets in the neighborhood, finding lots of other great little spots for photos. From start to finish, Lacey was nothing but professional and easy going. Leaving from our session that day, I decided I'd be happy if we got 10 good pictures. It was so cold that day, I wasn't sure if we'd look as cold as we were in the photos. When I finally got the pictures from her (after only a WEEK!), I was ecstatic. Lacey is truly an artist with a fantastic eye for photography. I still don't know how she managed to capture so many wonderful images. She balanced close-ups with wider angles in a way that perfectly captured and commemorated that moment in our lives. After checking out her work online, I made an appointment with Lacey to do my daughter's senior photos. She is a very talented photographer, and did a great job at making my daughter feel comfortable and have fun during the session. She took the time to take a variety of poses and angles, and was friendly and professional. I can't recommend her enough. She was worth our 7 hour round trip drive to get those portraits on the beach. Update: received our images and they are absolutely stunning! I worked with Lacey for a 3-day corporate event covering evening dinners and parties to day time meetings and team buildings. She has been nothing but amazing! I liked the work on her website and her pricing was, in my opinion, very affordable considering her talent and quality plus you get full copyright release for all of your photos without the hassle of purchasing silly "packages" some photographers try to force on you. As for the photos - I adore them! Lacey came to our home and spent 2+ hours with my family capturing newborn, toddler and family shots. My toddler was in a pretty grumpy mood that day but you would never know from the pictures - she was able to capture smiles and happy moments! My wife and I signed up with Lacey to do maternity photos before our daughter was born. The photos turned out great and we asked Lacey to do our newborn photos later in the month. She worked with us to make sure she would have time available around the due date and literally scheduled our photo session as soon as our daughter arrived. My wife and I live in PA but we're getting married in New Orleans. We did some research and felt Lacey was the right choice for our photographer and boy were we right. Throughout the entire process she was great. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We did not have a traditional wedding and she adapted to everything we did.
