If your looking for a documentary style then go with Keyhole. There are no forced, awkward, or interupted moments. They are very interested in you, your wedding, and your day and I promise they will capture it without ever getting in the way or stepping on any toes. Shane Rice was hired to photograph my daughter and son-in-law's vow renewal. After paying Mr. Rice…read more$1500 months in advance I had to continuously call Mr. Rice to ask when and where the engagement photos and bridal shoot would take place. Both of these shoots produced maybe 15 usable photos. He spent less then 15 minutes on the bridal shoot and all but 2 were horrible and very unflattering. At the vow renewal he had the audacity to do a mini photo shoot for members of his own family and charged me for it. There were no photographs of the groom's family. Out of 1000 photos Mr. Rice gave to my daughter (he didn't even have the respect to give the flashdrive to me) maybe 40 were acceptable. I would NEVER use Shane Rice Photography again and I suggest no one else does either unless you want your money wasted and a special event ruined.

Do not use Lydie J Photo!…read more This was an terrible experience. We contacted Lydia Gross back in November '21 to shoot our wedding in September '22. Lydia set us up with a contract. Over the year we had multiple conversations and even had a video chat. She seemed trustworthy and over all had decent work. We made payments to her every 3 to 4 months per the contract as a deposit. We were in talks with her and she is the one that recommended a anticipation shoot before the wedding. She never showed. It was at this point we started to think things weren't right. Over the 2 weeks leading up to our wedding we attempted to contact her several times. Lydia was updating her Instagram during this time but couldn't respond back to us. It was in our own research that we found out that Lydia had moved back home and didn't have any plans to make the wedding. 4 Days before the wedding she reached out to us and stated below: "I am beyond sorry for the horrible communication on my end. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I will not be able to travel up north for the wedding. I initiated a refund for you guys through honey book and have reached out to a couple photographer friends for coverage of the wedding day. I'll forward contact information as soon as I hear back from one of them." Lydia never contacted us again. It took Lydia another 6 days to start the refund process. Meanwhile we had to pay the other photographer out of our pockets that we had to scramble to get last minute. Lydia updated her Instagram stories the whole time though. Lydia is a classic scam artist. Please do not trust anything she has to say she will lie right to your face.
