The Hospital and staff are fantastic…read more The main issue is the parking. There is next to no handicap parking, (far less than a hospital should have, at any rate) and the Valet is often not there, like to take your car, or to bring it back. I've noticed on super busy days they only have one valet at the stand in front of the Building Q. So cars and people waiting to retrieve their cars are stacked up waiting on one poor valet to hustle around getting everyones cars taken care of. The valet service needs to HIRE more people and PAY them better so they stay with the company. This screams bad management. No one should be the only person at a valet stand. Especially not at a busy hospital when people have appointments to get to on time, and there is next to no ADA parking.

I'm sorry- but I can't stand county hospitals! This is why they're given a bad name! My son had a…read more1p appointment to check on his broken wrist and after 45 mins of us waiting in the patient room I asked if we missed our appointment because I had to go to work.... No nurse EVER came in to check up on us or say "the doctor is running late...." Perhaps if there was so communication, I wouldn't write such a horrible review, but this was just awful! After the doctor spent 2 minutes looks at my son's broken wrist, he said "looks like he healed fine...." Which his wrist was STILL SWOLLEN! We went to Stanford and his PCP there was PISSED! She said he needed to wear his wrist brace at LEAST 6-8 more weeks as she ordered 2 X rays and OT! This doctor dismissed my son since he's an older teenager and said he'd be fine..... ughhhh

I came here today to get routine lab work done. This location is close to where I live which makes…read moreit very convenient. You can now make lab appointments on the app so that's what I did. Once I checked in they called me right back. I let the lab technician know that I'm a hard stick. She took her time with me and said she wouldn't poke me unless she found a good vein. Luckily she found a good one on her first try. I really appreciated that she listed to me. She was so nice.

I'm writing this review to try to save some of you the lack of care, compassion and professionalism…read morethat I encountered while dealing with the Sutter health or Palo Alto foundation team of doctors. I was mislead by some positive reviews that I found on this same platform. My family and I were in need of a new primary care physician. So I made appointments for all 3 of us. I suffered from mental and physical disabilities, and I must say that this past year was beyond difficult for me and my family. I had to see a couple of physician assistants because I guess Dr. Sudha Saduvala is pretty busy. I find it extremely frustrating the amount of paperwork that we as patients have to sign to give these doctors permission to look at our health history. Somehow they were able to access my information as well as my pharmacy's information. They however seemed to be too busy to do a complete and through review of my current medication lists. They just went by what they saw on their computer. Which wasn't up to date. Then once I had seen the PA, I had already scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Sudha Saduvala. An appointment they tried to reschedule stating that she needed more time. I stood my ground and said that I couldn't wait. My appointment was going to be through telehealth due to my mobility issues. I had the appointment and the doctor listened to some of my complaints and needs and dismissed some other ones. I was referred to a few specialists which had ridiculous amounts of waiting just to be able to get some tests done. We had double insurance coverage for a period of time, and I had made that very clear to them. The tests were not going to be performed during this double insurance coverage period. I had printed out the necessary DMV paperwork to take to Jose Escalante PA to be filled out so that I could get a disabled placard. I had spoken to him through telehealth and he had assured me that he'd be able to fill out his portion and sign it. I had to secure a ride to go get this paperwork done. I move slowly due to me being in pain 24/7. We were stuck in traffic for almost 10 minutes, so I called the doctors office to let them know that I was almost there. The lady that I spoke to on the phone said that it would be fine. I got there and I checked in. I was told to take a seat in the waiting room, and I did. Imagine my surprise when all of a sudden I saw PA Jose Escalante walking right pass me on his way out of the door. I said, excuse me where are you going? I have my paperwork filled out, there's just a couple of things that you need to fill out and your signature. He ignored me and continued to walk away towards the parking lot. I pulled out my cellphone and started recording the incident. It made no difference. I hardly ever leave my house and it took a lot out of me to go to this appointment. I haven't been feeling well for over a month. I however was able to contact another doctor who I had seen before and she agreed to see me the day after I contacted her. She was kind, patient and compassionate. I got my DMV paperwork filled out. Oh, it turned out that the receptionist had left me a voicemail which I didn't even receive. They just went ahead and canceled my appointment without actually talking to me. Why is it that almost every doctor feels or thinks that it's ok for them to change or cancel a patients appointment as if it wasn't a big deal, and there's nothing we the patients can do about it. Yet, if we dare to canceled, reschedule or not show up for an appointment. We have to pay a cancelation fee? A no show fee. I read on a sign posted in a waiting room of a doctors office that it's ethically correct for them to charge up to $150 to us patients. Does anyone else feel like this is unfair? Anyways, I just wanted to share the bad experiences that I had dealing with everyone within these medical corporations. I'm tired of being treated this way. Especially when they make me feel like it's my fault. Hey people, not everyone who expresses their feelings or opinions has to be given a diagnosis just because someone doesn't agree. How about you start treating people with the dignity and respect that everyone needs and deserves? I sure hope that this new year brings me better luck with dealing with doctors because I'm still in need of treatment. Happy New Year to everyone. Especially those who have had experiences like this.
