We had a gigantic liquidamber tree in the middle of our front yard for years. It was removed last fall, leaving a bare and ugly front yard. We met Ruben at the Home & Landscaping show at Cal Expo and after interviewing about a dozen landscape companies, hired him and his crew to transform our high maintenance yard into a low maintenance and water wise yard with great curb appeal. Not only did he give us some solid advice and tips when we first met, he has a great eye for design and guided us throughout the process, being patient and gracious during many changes along the way from me. He and his crew know their stuff! They are punctual and have an incredible work ethic, are very reasonably priced and left us with a beautiful, nearly maintenance free entry to our home. We will absolutely hire them for our backyard when we are ready to tackle that job. Thank you so much Ruben & all your hard working crew! We couldn't be happier!

My neighbor, wanting an aesthetic upgrade, replaced our shared fence. Although I did not…read moreparticipate directly in the process (since the old fence was stable, functional, and had a rustic charm to it), Jack Saunders did a great job on the new fence, acted professionally to everyone involved, and completed the job in a timely manner. Our story with Saunders Landscaping Construction started in April 2016. Jack transformed our…read morebackyard, which consisted of a dead lawn. Jack and his crew beautifully landscaped our yard with a water feature (see pics), a fire pit, a kidney shaped artificial turf with a concrete border, rock slabs, and pavers around the fire pit. He also planted various trees, plants, and shrubs, all on an irrigation system. Forward April 2025. We had an issue with the water feature and called Saunders Landscaping Construction. Aubrey (Jack's wife/office manager) set up an appointment and Jack was out in just a few days. He examined the water feature and gave us an estimate on what needed to be done. Our 20 year old backyard patio concrete was worn and ugly. Jack made some suggestions on how he could restore the surface with power washing and staining. Jack's expertise and knowledge helped us in picking the right colors, taking into consideration our house color, paver colors, and patio border colors. Jack transformed our patio far above our expectations. We would recommend Saunders Landscaping Construction for all your concrete and landscaping needs. Jack is friendly, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. Every day the work site was left clean. Jack was prompt and kept us in the loop on all his work progress. See before and after pictures.

I HIGHLY recommend Gabino and his team of hard workers. For more than three years, they have…read moreprovided clean up, tree removal, sprinkler system work, regular yard maintenance (mowing/trimming/watering) and more at my Natomas area home. This is a family owned and operated business that provides personal service. My yard is fairly large, and they worked with me on an affordable rate. They've always been very flexible with me and my schedule. It's a small operation and sometimes things don't always go as planned, so I've been more than willing to be flexible with them, too. If you're looking for a one time project or regular yard maintenance, I recommend you call Gabino's Garden. They were recommended to me and I have in turn recommended them to other friends and home owners. I have great peace of mind knowing that my yard is in their capable hands.

I was hoping for a smoother partnership with this Co. When the owner came to look at my property…read moreand prepare an estimate he needed to call his daughter due to language barriers and have her translate. This was a bit challenging with lots of back and forth with someone on the phone. The estimate was reasonable yet took a week to get as the owners were out of town. I did pay them the deposit. The delays in info/answers continued and I made a couple of changes to the project which again were challenging with the language barriers and needing to contact his daughter. In the end my new tree that I'd paid for was picked up from the nursery by the landscaper, planted after the old tree was pulled out along with 6 small boxwoods and those were replaced by gardenias I had purchased and transported home beforehand. Drip lines were installed per the estimate. The biggest frustration was communication and delays in the communication. At the end of the job I received a text asking if I had time to chat since they had a Q for me. I was in a mtg and let them know when I would be available but never heard from them again. I processed the balance due that day and never heard from them regarding the Q they had or anything else. Very odd.

He was prompt in getting back to us with a quote that was reasonable and acceptable. He and his team started the following day, tearing out the pre-existing concrete. We did have to wait for their return to remove the frames but once that was done, we could fully admire the new driveway and walkway, that exceeded our expectation.
