Just bummed I had to buy Starbucks on my way out the door early before breakfast started. The woman at Starbucks was wonderful. So cheerful that early in the morning and she noticed that I had left my running water bottle and chased me down to return it! The front desk staff was also really great. We left a couple items in the room and when I was unable to contact their security manager she asked for a few minutes to call me back and went and checked herself! That's really great customer service in a world of "that's not my job, let me transfer you" world nowadays. Thank you so much!

The room was ample as they only have suites with a sitting room with a couch and TV, there was a small wet bar with refrigerator, my bedroom had a nicely sized King bed with an attached restroom with a slight awkward layout; the tub and commode were separated from the dual sink and closet. I didn't not get a chance to try the restaurant but I hope to do so on my next visit. I did get to visit the bar which provides excellent cocktails. My stay was due to the LA fair so as they say "location, location, location" there is an entrance to the fair grounds located towards the back/side of the hotel so access to and from was excellent! I would definitely stay here again.

This location is clean and they have A LOT of rooms available. It's also close to the local Montclair mall and 10 minute from Ontario International airport. They have a huge pool that is also clean and the parking lot is very clean and newly paved. I would recommend staying here if you need a hotel that's on the border of LA and San Bernardino county. There's also lots of hiking within the area (the mountain just north of the hotel) so if you're into that and staying close to the freeway, this is the best bet.

During the initial call, I began providing my reservation details when the attendant interrupted me, said "hold on," and placed me on hold. After waiting, he returned to the line. I politely asked for his name before continuing, and he audibly sighed and hung up the call. I called back multiple times in an attempt to resolve the issue. Each time, I was either hung up on or told, "If there's nothing I can help you with, I'm going to hang up this call," followed immediately by the call being disconnected. At no point was I given the opportunity to fully explain or verify my reservation. After these attempts, I drove to the property. The front door was locked and there was no attendant at the desk. I contacted Hotels.com for assistance instead of continuing to call the property. They attempted to reach the hotel directly and later informed me that staff claimed I had not provided the necessary information to check in, which was inaccurate as I was never given the opportunity to do so. While waiting outside, a staff member eventually opened the door and approached me in a confrontational manner, stating, "Are you the one lying to Hotels.com about me?" I responded by attempting to clarify the situation and asked again for accountability regarding the repeated hang-ups and refusal to assist. At that point, the situation escalated and the staff member raised his voice, stating, "At this point I'm refusing service, leave the premises, I'm calling the police." I became frustrated due to the repeated dismissals and lack of assistance, but I left the property without further incident. The only reason I was able to obtain the employee's name ("Franco") was through Hotels.com acting as a mediator. Overall, the experience involved repeated hang-ups, conflicting information, and an unprofessional escalation when I was simply attempting to verify a reservation. Based on this experience, I would strongly reconsider staying at this location. Also! I was initially going to post a picture of this man, but I found so many horrible reviews of the exact same person and even photos of hm:

Got threatened by front desk after I said I would leave a bad review regarding the crime, drug use,…read moreprostitution and pan handling.... I asked for a refund and the front desk clerk with a foreign accent said I wasn't allowed to be upset over the phone... I told him yo call the cops if he felt threatened, the clerk said what for? Clerk said he already has my credit card info and copy of my ID. To me that sounds like a threat in itself. I reported my ID and credit card stolen after that. Pretty sure the manager and clerk are invested in some type of crime, all of the room tenants are.... so why not them?

This is obviously a property that just gets barely maintained and it looks like no one cares. When I first entered, I was thinking, okay, it's clean, I'm happy, and then I changed my mind. After seeing the other reviews that are just like mine, it solidifies that Wyndham doesn't care that this motel is a tarnish to it's name. I mean, if I were them I'd take my name off it because they apparently don't plan on making things better. The bad: I can forgive all of the below EXCEPT the fact there was some kind of machinery whine ALL NIGHT LONG in the walls. I barely slept and left hours earlier than I had planned, exhausted. What a miserable night! -The pillows were the WORST. Tiny squares that felt like someone rolled up lumpy sheets and shoved them in a pillow case. All 4 were like that and they were not comfortable! -The bathroom tub had hair, and worse, I swear one of them was a pubic hair. -The walls appear dirty. Doesn't mean they are, just means they look it. -The paint. Ugh. It just looks like they don't care. Peeling paint, etc. -Replace the darn bathroom door. They aren't very expensive at Home Depot, which is pretty close to this location. Yuck. -The mirror had a large crack in it. -The 2 desks were old and scratched -The desk chair had cracks and tears. -The drapes had small tears and were dirty. -I met a couple staying upstairs who had to kill a couple of cockroaches, luckily, I didn't see any in my room -"Free light breakfast". Oy. A hard Kirkland granola bar, a Hostess "cupcake", and instant oatmeal. No water, a basic necessity and needed for the oatmeal. There was no bowl for the oatmeal and the coffee cups were really small so it seemed like they were trying to be funny with that. There was fresh coffee. How about no "breakfast" and lower the room rate. The good: -Two bars of hand soap and small tube of lotion at the sink, shampoo in shower, although I didn't use it. -Large mirror that I could actually see most of myself -Little coffee maker, microwave, & refrigerator -Air conditioner worked -Friendly staff -Luggage rack, ironing board, iron, and hangers -Large tv

I wanted a full…read morekitchen for a low price and literally contacted every hotel in a 10-mile radius before finding this one. I stayed in a total of 6 of their rooms over a 5 week period and loved the size for the price ($50 night). Most of their rooms are full kitchen suites, includes bedroom, kitchen (with full oven, stove, microwave, sink, and refrigerator), bathroom and walk-in closets, with dining area in kitchen and desk in the bedroom. The rooms were very spacious. I stayed in a non-kitchen room one night and it was the standard hotel room size, but also came with a mini fridge/microwave. A lot of residents live there permanently (you can tell by seeing decorations in windows), and the majority of the people staying/living there are lower-working class. The front parking area is small, and chances are you will be parking in back, but it is very well lit and there were never people just standing around to make anyone nervous. I never had a problem of safety, but I also went straight from my car to my room. As for cleanliness, every room I stayed in left something to be desired. Usually there were small holes in the comforters, stains on the floor, broken pieces of clock, TV remote, fridge, etc. Sometimes the floor wasn't well vacuumed and I'd have the maid come in the next day for a "re-do" which always cleaned up any remaining dirt. Oddly, every room had something different to it. As in, different desk chairs in each, different type of mattresses (one room had very soft like the kind from those commercial where you drop a bowling ball on a bed and don't spill the wine glass), different brands/styles of AC/Heating units, and slightly different layouts (some had separate walk-in closets and some had the closet connected tot he bathroom). WiFi sucks. Very slow and bad signal. They have multiple wireless networks for free to any hotel guest, but they only get a 1-3 bar signal and instantly lower once you connect. It was so bad it made it almost impossible to browse the internet or even Skype. The front desk staff were wonderful, always friendly and helpful. The area is fairly nice. Surrounded by motor home parks, thrift stores, and next to a restaurant and furniture store. Just a fe miles away from La Verne (which is very nice and has great shopping and restaurant chains). I ate at Santana's Mexican on the corner of Garey and Foothill once a week and they had great food if you are looking for a close 24 hr. place to the hotel. For the price/size, this place is great, but definitely is a 1-2 star hotel overall because of the residents and condition of rooms. But because of the friendliness, and the size of the rooms with full kitchens, I would stay there again if I work in the area again.
