I totally regret my experience with Stewart Title at the 5926 S. Staples location. I closed on…read moreAugust 17, 2021 at a remote location. I was promised numerous times that I would get a copy of everything my wife and I signed at closing. Nothing was received. On September 13, I informed the office as well as my escrow officer that I still had not received a copy of my closing documents. I was promised that it would be sent ASAP. Nothing was received. I had to send other emails until I finally received them on November 22, 2021. A full 3 months later. Had I not said anything, I'm not even sure I would have ever received anything. Also, I told them which was our mailing address and for some reason, they put the remote location address as my mailing address. I was promised that this would be fixed and of course it has not been done and now I need to figure out how to do it myself. So, if you want to sign documents at closing and potentially not receive them, this is the title company for you. If you want to get your important documents mailed to a random location, this is the title company for you. If you want your customer service to end as soon as your payment is processed, this is the title company for you. I just felt that once my payment cleared, it was on to the next "deal." Since I didn't have a copy of my closing documents, I had also asked them to remind me if the property taxes were getting paid with the closing funds and again, I never got my basic question answered. The lack of customer service and professionalism is not what I expect from Stewart Title. You were warned.

Ordered and paid for a solid wooden exterior door and also paid $75 to have the hinge inlays…read morematched along with the door knob and deadbolt openings. I was told when the door came in it could be matched and I could get it the same day , so I dropped the old door off about 9:15 in the morning so they would have it. That's when I was told, they'd have it for me tomorrow! And I replied that's not what I was told, I was told I would have it the same day. Well, they managed to have it finished at 4:45 PM, (they close at 5pm). I took it back to the jobsite and the top hinge did not match by about 3/32". We corrected that mistake, but it was about 45minutes extra work. When I went to get the alarm sensor off the old door in the morning, (I had forgotten it), I asked her if they would cut the top of old door off about six inches, so I could retrieve the alarm sensor? She said they could get to it next week! I said I'd come down and cut it off myself so none of her employees would be put out. When I got there she DID have it cut off already for me. I told her and showed her a pic where the hinge inlay didn't align. I asked if they would allow a partial credit of the $75? She said, No. She'd have to ask the owner but he isn't there and he'd probably say NO, too. I just said, Thanks and left. I was not pleased with customer service after dropping old door off. Attitudes changed. I will probably take future business elsewhere!

Ashleigh did an outstanding job helping us sell in Port Aransas!…read moreWe had a prior agent that didn't really give us much in the way of suggestions to help market the home and it sat on the market for 6 months. We reached out to Ashleigh and she met with us over the phone and made some key suggestions, which we implemented. After doing so, the home was relisted and we had a contract within 45 days. She had fantastic communication and was extremely helpful as we were absentee owners 4 hours away. I can't stress again how great she was to work with. If I had another house to sell in that market, I would definitely choose her again!

Katherine Miller is hands down the most hardworking, sharp, and client-focused agent I've worked…read morewith. She went the extra mile--networking with other agents, putting together fun and creative open houses, and marketing the property really well, even though it was a tough market for sellers. Her hustle and creativity made a huge difference, and she stuck with it through all the bumps in the road to get the deal done. I'd absolutely recommend Katherine to anyone looking to buy or sell in Port Aransas & nearby areas!

I can not begin to share how grateful my family is to Katherine Miller and her team at BlueFin…read moreRealty. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell, or, in our case, both. From the moment we had our first meeting about our expectations and what we wanted and needed, Katherine took the time to understand and get to know us fully. There was clear communication throughout the whole process. She went beyond her job of selling our home and helping us buy a new property. She wasn't afraid to challenge us on what we thought would be impossible; we are so glad we trusted her enough to try as she sold our home before it was ready to market. We did not have to use her social marketing, photography, or any of those aspects, but if you do your research on what she has done, you will see each home she sells, and markets are unique, eye-catching, and fantastic marketing (which is why we choose to use here along with recommendations). We have since recommended her to others, and they have all had the same things to share. She is a calming presence in some stressful moments; she looks out for the best interest of her clients, is completely honest, doesn't make promises she can't keep, and so on. She was there every step, from selling our beach house in Port A to helping facilitate leasing and buying our new home in San Marcos. I can not recommend Katherine and her team enough if you are looking for an agent, I would look no further, you will not regret utilizing Katherine's knowledge and help, should we need a realtor again we will 100% be using her again.
