    Stayed at " porpoise of life". Everything was clean , well…read morestocked ,and plenty of room for everyone. Could use some kitchen towels and basic spices but it was no big deal as we brought most of our own. Lots of stairs in case that makes a difference for some. Carpeting in many areas if you are allergy prone. Many games and areas in the house to spread out yet still be together. We loved the place and would rent again . Beautiful porch and chairs to enjoy especially in the evening. Close to boardwalk to beach for walking or using a golf cart if you rent one.

When we arrived, the property had not been properly cleaned or inspected. Issues we encountered included: * Sheets with hair on them * FILTHY floors throughout the home - not sand from the beach, dirt from floors that had not ben mopped or cleaned. We had to wear socks most of the trip to keep our feet clean. * A dead, decaying bird on the patio by the pool * A dirty grill (and no way to clean it) * A dirty pool we never once used * Dirty appliances * Non-functioning ceiling fans, stove burners, and bedroom lights * Most TVs not working * 2nd floor patio door that wouldn't open A technician was sent to address the TV issues and we want to be fair -- he was polite, worked hard, and also cleaned the grill and removed the dead bird. We appreciated his effort. However, he had to come in and out of the house most of the day, which significantly disrupted our family vacation. We also had to spend our first hours their washing bedding for seven bedrooms. A property manager never came to the home or has ever contacted us. We were told they weren't feeling well that day, which we understand -- things happen. But with nearly a dozen issues, many of them cleanliness problems that should have been caught before check-in, it would have meant a great deal to have a manager acknowledge the situation. We have yet to hear from anyone from Silver Sands regarding this. We reached out to Silver Sands Vacation Rentals regarding the issues and they did not respond appropriately. For what we paid (including a $600 cleaning fee), we deserved a clean, well-maintained, operational and properly inspected home. We had many other properties to choose from and wish very much that we had chosen differently. We would NOT recommend this property or this management company based on our experience and will not stay at a Silver Sands Property again.

    Purchased a beach house as a short term rental investment and Marnie was the broker for our agent…read moreand the seller's agent as well as the owner of the only property management company that was allowed by the HOA. They provided false information about the costs of managing the property to get us to buy. In order to avoid legal action, Marnie adjusted their property management rate, but after a few years decided they were not making enough money off of us to continue to manage. She then breached our contract that stated our booked guests were portable and stole all of our booked guests. She refused to provide full financial disclosure of our property's rental income and refused to review accounting discrepancies that have led us to believe her management company was skimming money from us. In addition, we found our property to have been completely neglected by her management company. Every appliance in the house was broken in some way, yet we were never informed. Guests reviews were so bad we couldn't transfer the reviews to a new listing.
