I hardly ever write reviews but felt this warranted one. The facility was okay, there were times…read morewhen one of the top level beds would be broken and I couldn't use them...which sort of defeated the purpose of paying for the highest level membership but that only happened on occasion. Most of the time the staff was nice so no complaints there really, other than I'm not sure if they are aware that the accordion doors each tanning room had are not sound proof therefore it made it hard not to overhear them when they would gossip. However, what spurred my poor review and what prevents me from recommending this salon to anyone is the fact that when I went in to cancel my membership, it wasn't properly cancelled. What irks me the most is I didn't catch it until two months had gone by and close to $75 each month was drafted from my account. When I called to notify them they kept saying the owner would have to call me back...which he never did. I tried to rectify this with them numerous times before I finally just disputed it with my credit card company. They knew they were in the wrong, the manager even wished me well on the last day that I tanned saying he saw where I was moving...therefore he must have seen where I had come in to cancel due to a move. Yet, no one would return my call or refund my money. If $150 dollars was worth it to piss a once upon a time loyal customer off enough to write a review then so be it, heres my review. I would NOT recommend this salon but if you do end up using them and find that you must cancel your membership for one reason or another make SURE it is actually cancelled and watch your account for any unauthorized drafts just in case!!

I've visited several tanning salon's in the Irmo area and Palm Beach is hands down my favorite place to tan. The staff is very knowledgeable about the various beds as well as the spray tans right off the top of their heads. You get a sense of genuine experience here. I had previously tanned here, but it has been months. She was very informative, polite, and very helpful!! She suggested their $14.95 special, good for 14 days. She said it expires on 10/31, but suggested that I renew right before it expires and get another 14 days for 14.95!! I went in after that phone call and signed up! She was helpful, offering suggestions on the tanning lotions, and I ended up purchasing her suggestion. It was not the most expensive lotion they had, and she highly recommended this lotion......it was the least expensive. I love it!! These beds are always clean, working and great!!! They have radios, controlled by units at the head of the bed. There are fans at the foot of each bed that blow directly on you during your tan. There is also another fan in the room you can use if you are really hot natured. You can request certain beds, based on your preferences. I had the one with the timer in the bed so you don't have to guess how much time is left. Everyone is nice, there is usually NO wait......so peaceful, and relaxing!
