I am extremely upset about the new spray tan machine. Everyone is great but the spray tan machine is, in my opinion, is worse than the older machine we had. I pay roughly $160 a month which includes the light stim and sauna but I go there more for the spray tanning. A lot of people go to this store so why aren't we able to get a better machine that covers you totally. Please make modifications or I just may have to cancel all of the services. read more

Unfortunately, they are often closed during business hours. If you need to have reduced hours through due to staffing post reduced hours. It's not that hard. But when no one can predict when they can, or can't use the service that they pay for it's unacceptable The salon clearly needs management that will show up. Today was the fourth time this month that the salon has been closed when I've tried to go between 5 and 6 PM. Unacceptable. On a positive note, when you do get in the beds are always clean, bulbs are strong and give a great tan. I will be canceling my membership and trying one of the five star salons. read more

Literally always closed. Why do I even pay monthly when they're open 50% of the time? Maybe if your hours aren't going to be as listed on your website, make a Facebook page and show your updated hours or something. It's 2022... I shouldn't have to drive 20 minutes just to see a piece of paper on your door that you're "closed early", yet again. This has happened over 30 times and has been going on for a year now. I wish I was kidding. Something seriously needs to happen. I complained and they pretty much told me even though I only got to tan 1 or 2 out of the dozen times I drove out each month, i still got my "money's worth". Funny, because with the way gas is, I think you owe ME money. Don't waste your time. read more

This 24 hr rule is such a inconvenience. Already 2 times. I swear he said 427 I come back at 5 he's like 29 more min. Omg the gas coming and going. Just forget it. I'm over it. I don't even want to tan anymore today. I didn't want to have to do. It tomorrow. I'm had a free day today. And yesterday it seems I tanned at 530. Like omg. You can't live your life. You have to remember the exact time you tanned. Boooo whoooo ridiculous. read more

Worst customer service ever. Border line illegal. Go somewhere else. The employees are very accommodating. But the franchise has no idea what good customer service is. Will never go back. read more

Walked in for a spray tan and left very satisfied. A little pricey, but the machine that administer the tan are clean, thorough, and even. A really good way to get a tan. read more

Clean, very helpful kind service. My tan looks amazing. They have state of the art tanning beds. I used a bronzer they recommended, and it made my tan look great. I highly recommend PBT and look forward to going back. read more

Closed again! What the heck. There is no excuse again. Start refunding us that pay these monthly fees for wasting our time driving there and calling. Get your act together or hang it up. read more

Closed again. So many times I have been here and it's closed. This time there was a sign giving you the hours which says they are open but doors are locked. read more

This place e is the worst, they are always closed due to unforseen circumstances. You pay for a membership and go only to find the door locked with a note on the door. I would NEVER recommend this place. read more

Just came to the Harrisburg salon and the doors are locked. They close at 5:00. No sign on the door about closing early today. This happens to me at least twice a week. I pay $80/month for unlimited tanning and they are extremely limited hours. This has been going on for close to a year and they refuse to compensate me in any way. It's absolute bullshit. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Was told upon signing up i had three bed upgrades and a free spray tan and when I asked to use them was informed that I did not have any upgrades and if I wanted to tan in higher beds I would have to pay. Not that big of a deal, right...read on. I was given a date that I could not cancel BEFORE so I waited until two days after. While canceling my account I was told I would still be charged for the next month because I had to cancel AFTER said date. Which means I had a ten hour period to come in a cancel my account (which I would have done had I been informed). So I was charged for a month of tanning although I was not even in the state to use it. BUT they offered to freeze my account for $7.50 a month (for a year). I'm sorry, but this is flat out stealing from customers. The staff is obviously unknowlegable of their policies, and refuses to offer customer service when they have given out false information. I do not recommend entering a tanning contract with this company. read more

I've been coming to this location for awhile now, over a year. For the most part I have nothing bad to say, beds are clean and there's never too long of a wait. The ONLY thing I can say is that I've never witnessed a manager or supervisor talk badly about an employee to a customer until now. I was shocked when I heard the manager speaking about one of the employees (whom I've always had a positive experience with, the employee going above and beyond my expectations to ensure i had a good experience) I wish I could put the managers name here but I don't think that's right. But hearing the things she said was more than uncalled for. Very disappointing. read more

I have gone to both this location and the Lemoyne locations and I actually preferred this one. I specifically drive the extra distance but lately it has been to find the doors locked, multiple times And gas isn't cheap! I completely understand the labor shortage right now but it would be nice if something could be posted online somewhere for when they don't have coverage! Please be courteous to your customers and at least provide updates on labor shortages so that we are not wasting our time and money! read more

Do not go to this location!! Terrible customer service. Told that you will only have to wait for 30 minutes and then an hour and a half later the chatty sales associate decides it is your turn. She let the other associate leave when she clearly needed the assistance. Again, go to the other location. read more

I came in to get a quick spray tan a few days before one of our friends wedding. It was Thursday, April 20th, 2017 and there was a young girl (I believe named Hannah, if I am remembering correctly) working at the counter alone. It was SO busy, as I ended up waiting over 2 hours for my spray tan (which was totally expected it as it was a Thursday evening just prior to a popular wedding weekend.) There were many people in and out during my wait and Hannah was absolutely wonderful with each and every customer. I'm sure she was overwhelmed with the amount of people coming in, including new memberships, but she did not act it. She was kind and friendly to every single person she spoke with, even still managing to greet everyone coming in and saying goodbye to everyone leaving. I have been here other times as well as the girls have always been so sweet and helpful. The salon and all of the beds are clean and ready to go. read more

Just went for my first spray tan. It was so easy and enjoyable! The girl working was SO HELPFUL and knowledgeable about product and process. She was so polite and kind to everyone who came in. She had long dark hair, wish I caught her name. She made the experience. She also worked very quickly to accommodate all customers during a busy time. read more

What a great location! They are very quick and efficient. The beds are great and the store is very clean. The manager of this location is always ready to help and so upbeat! read more

Hannah was so nice & informative! Took the time to show me countless lotions & speak with me about packages! Place is super clean

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! The idea of customer service at this location must be a huge joke among the employees because they certainly treat customers like they are completely insignificant. This was my first time EVER getting a spray tan and when I mentioned this to the girl at the counter, she actually rolled her eyes and looked extremely annoyed for some reason (???) rather than welcoming me and offering to assist if I had any questions. She couldn't even be bothered to smile at me ONCE. I tried to pay with a gift card and was informed after a few minutes that I needed to pay another way because I had basically "shut down their system" as though that was my prime reason for even coming in that day. When I inquired as to what kind of bronzers and such was offered (since I was new to the entire process) the only info I received was that Mocha is "dark". Okay thanks.... The tanning machine which offers instructions and the signs on the wall in the tanning room were much more helpful than any living being working there that day. I carefully read all the instructions and saw that the eye protection glasses which are optional, but suggested were not in the room, I opened the door to locate someone, but the employee was too concerned over the fact that her lunch had the extra sour cream she asked for, but that it was too MUCH extra. When someone finally acknowledged me, she brought me the eye wear and I got in and out as quickly as possible. Overall the employees were extremely rude and unprofessional and I left feeling like a nuisance rather than someone supporting their business. I am not under the impression that Palm Beach Tan as a company is supportive of this lack of customer service, but I will not be back until an employee overhaul is done at this location. Until then, don't bother giving them your time since you are clearly not worth theirs. read more

They have the absolute worst spray tans ever. They are streaky, orange, uneven and thank God they only last 3-4 days because I have found myself scrubbing my skin raw trying to get it off. I purchased the package for $85 a month and come to find out you have to pay extra for the color that isn't orange..,and then you find out it's orange too. I really would like my money back back I know that's not going to happen. I would take my money elsewhere if you are considering this place because it is the worst. I tried it 3xs and each time was worst than the one before. We need a Suntancity in town! read more

The customer service at the Harrisburg location is awful! The young girls are rude and unpleasant. I would rather travel to the Lemoyne location even though I live closer to Harrisburg. They are SO much more professional there. read more

I am shocked to read a bad review of this place. Reading the other old review it is obvious they don't have a clue what they are talking about. I have been on stay and save multiple times and you pay 7.50 a month for it but it goes into your "bank" where you use that money to reactivate your membership and for products =you get all of it back! The place is super clean and they recently updated the store and the beds. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with any issues that arise. read more
