I have been a member since 2021 and have the diamond membership the highest level and have always been told don't cancel you will be grand fathered in at this price so I pay year round just to keep that rate, however, today I come and they have two new beds and I am being told that's not part of my membership now!!!! The new pricing if I want to use the new beds increases to $130 a month, that is just wrong. If you have been a member and have been told you will be locked in at a price they should honor that instead they are charging old members new member prices so screw the loyal customers apparently it means nothing. Very disappointing. These places just don't care about customer retention and will lie to get you sucked in. read more

It is not the most cost effective tanning salon. I am not sure how they come up with prices. I have lived in many states and never was priced gouged so much in my life. The beds are decent. The bulbs are not change out often enough as my very first tan was in the stand up and literally i should have had a warm sun kissed/light pink tone to my skin... nope- not a thing. They upsell bottles of lotion at the most unrealistic prices, it is almost comical. I am here for a year and I will be gone, and won't recommend them due to pricing, quality, and up-selling tactics. Edit to Add: When I signed up I informed the representative my doctor suggested I go out in the sun more or receive artificial UVB rays from a salon. Today (a week after enrolling) I was informed that my $40 package only is for UV beds.... meaning..... I am paying for increased skin cancer with no benefits. I inquired about going to the next level (Platinum) and was told it is an additional $20 a month a PLUS... get this ... a $20 upgrade charge. I am in total shock. So disappointed in this salon! Due to an incompetent employee's mistake, my account was charged incorrectly. Palm Beach Tan will never refund money, even if it is due to their error. I have had the worst experience with this business and their employees. All they seemed to be concerned with is selling lotion. I would never advise anyone to sign up for a membership here unless you enjoy being hassled to purchase $90 bottles of lotion. read more

All the staff at palm beach tan are always wonderful to me! They are super knowledgeable about products and skin care. I visit Eglin pkwy in fort Walton beach , as well as the Destin location the most. In previous years I used to visit Lynn haven and Panama City beach locations. I've been a happy customer since about 4-5 years ago and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. read more

12/06/2016 To Whom It May Concern: As a Franchise Associate Area Manager for a major corporation and having worked 10 years in the customer service industry , I was very taken back by the lack of understanding and tone of voice used during a call in which it ended with your customer serve rep hanging up on me because she did not want to listen to me. I did not cuss though I'm sure she could hear my tone change as she told me to stop talking. I myself manage 60 employees and 12 locations in various counties and we teach our employees to listen to the client. Don't take it personally and do what you can to make it right. That's obviously something not taught during your training. Also the voice message there is 1 client a head of you probably should be updated as you realize that's a lie after calling back numerous times and getting same message and always being asked to leave a message and someone will call you tomorrow. Really??? Tomorrow to take care of a client?? Not a good policy but I'm not managing so it is what it is. So, long story short I did love Palm Beach - simply wanted to stop my membership till May and would have started it back but after the last few days of feeling like your company does not care I'm rethinking if I really want to do business with you. At this point all I need is the form to discontinue my membership faxed to 850-609-0785 --- Also I was told that my bank gave your company permission to change my expiration date on my bank card?? Without my written consent?? Hmmmm..... I will be calling my bank later today and make sure to confirm this is true and make changes as needed. Ummm WOW, I never knew how awesome this place was until I visited this salon. The others were ok, but I went in a few weeks ago or so. The guy and girl working there took their time with me making sure I knew everything I needed to know about taking care of my skin! They were very knowledgeable and gave excellent customer service. I don't understand why people complain about the prices. It's a high class tanning salon, duh! Great place to tan. Good prices. Lots of beds and options. Spray tanning also. Never tried that but saw people that did and they looked good. Weekly specials. There's only one thing I don't like and that's having to wait exactly 24 hours to be able to tan again. I've been tanning in beds since I was 12 and I'm 45 now and I've owned my own salon with beds and I've never waited 24 hrs between tanning sessions. That part sucks!! But overall it is nice and clean and good friendly staff. Their products are expensive and I'm glad I don't have to buy them there because I get mine for wholesale cost since I still own a salon but it's out of town from where I live now. Thank God!! They sale a bottle of Cypher for $165 and I only pay $48. The kicker is that the bottle is only 6oz. Even paying $48 for it is ridiculous. But they have lotions that are good that are more reasonably priced. So I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

Lots of beds and different levels of tanning but this is too expensive for me. I can only afford the level one beds and the lotion prices are extreme. I understand they are good quality but if you can't afford it, it doesn't help you. If they can run discounts all the time, then they can lower the prices and make it more affordable. They make the staff constantly try to sell you stuff which makes it very awkward. Now the new hours are closing at 8:00 pm which means you must be there by 7:30. This does not work for me. Most of the time I can get there by 7:30 but I work and I can't always be there by 7:30. Closing at 9 was much better for me. I guess I just need to find another place to tan. read more

everyone there is so nice and friendly, especially Brye. as a 16 year old in high school i am very invested in my hair, skin and nails and this was the first place i tried for spray tanning. i first went into the crestview location because i dual enroll up there and they showed me around with the machines. they were very helpful in explaining the package deals. next i went to the fort walton location when i had to visit my mom at work. there, Brye explained the primers and additives i could add with every tan and i bought my membership then. today i went in for my very first spray tan and she was there! she suggested the sticky feet and the scent additives and accelerator and explained which color, light medium or dark, would be better. next she walked me back to the booth and explained the eyewear, nose plugs and stuff to put on my hands and feet. definitely will try to go to the fort walton location more than dustin or crestview from now on read more
