I have never played Bingo before so I am not comparing this to any other location. I purchased a Groupon with a friend for Bingo and since the bingo hall was relatively close to home we decided to try it on a Friday night. The bingo hall itself was relatively clean and smoke free and with friendly volunteers pulling balls and walking around the room.
Checking was easy at the counter in the back and we were given a new visitor pack with our Groupon that included a Stamper and a pad of pages, a customer appreciation game, and a few other items. This particular bingo hall also runs electronic Bingo concurrently with paper. Unfortunately, my friend and I did not understand the concept. The way it was explained very quickly at check-in made it seem that the game itself was connected to our papers and we had no idea what was going on. It was only after two or three games that we realize they were completely separate from each other but was a second opportunity to win. Good thing too, since I ended up winning $100 from it.
I scoped the around and found a friendly looking woman to sit near and she was extremely helpful in explaining the games. She also found us a game card which showed the order of the games and what the winning card should look like. That was also extremely helpful and should have been included in a new customer package. The evening started at 6:30 and ended at 9:30. People did stay for lightning Bingo but my friend and I left.
I cannot recommend the food or the Food Service. The sink was being on clogged with Drano while I was there, and the cooking area seem to be have haphazardly constructed. Thankfully, Groupon we purchase included a cup for coffee or soda from the fountain all night long.
Especially with the Groupon, this was a good deal for an evening out with a friend. I think the normal price on a Friday evening is $35 but it is more expensive on the weekends but I could not tell you the price. read more
