Owned by Jonathan Demare, Arcade Time Entertainment has been open for three years and operates a small chain of arcades in Jacksonville, Wellington, and The Falls Miami. They hope to expand to 39 locations by 2027. My generation grew up in arcades. As home entertainment systems evolved more people stayed home to play games but nostalgia has brought the arcade back reinventing it for a new generation. Some of the other Arcade Time Entertainment locations have a restaurant but this one is just games. This arcade is brighter and cleaner than the ones I remember from my youth. Games here include arcade games, virtual reality and motion simulation. In a back room is the retro games I grew up on like Pac Man and Donkey Kong. Cards start at $20 for 400 credits and go up to $250 for $7,000 credits and special game pricing. Arcade Time welcomes birthday parties and camp groups. It is nice to see an all ages entertainment option has been added to the mall. Oh and if you are still looking for Victoria's Secret it has been relocated further down in the same hallway as the Old Navy.

Parking is limited at the Sportsplex but you can park in the warehouses next door and across the street. If you don't want to wait in long lines come early. Traffic was already backing up for the festival by 3:45. What was especially nice this year was the Sportsplex has a large new covered field with Astro Turf. They set up the stage with a country cover band, tables and chairs, and bleachers in this area. Other attractions at the festival included a few carnival rides, bounce house, haunted house, food trucks, pony rides, petting zoo, craft vendors. and contests for costumes, pumpkin carving, and scarecrow building. I spent the evening hanging out with my friend. We caught some of the concert and ate at the Pork O' Rican Food Truck and had Italian Ices. We shopped at the tents and I bought a light up Halloween decoration. We waited in line forever for the haunted house and laughed our heads off. Throughout the night I saw a lot of people I knew and many of the kids who go to my school. So fun to see everyone in costumes. So we had a 5-10 minute wait on most tees. Ranger talked to groups. But that doesn't do anything if there is no teeth behind it. The second or at least the third time that a group is behind, they should be forced to skip a hole. Don't understand, these golf courses seem afraid to upset the one group that is holding it up for everyone else. What about everyone else who paid to play a golf course and it is a death march?
