They were out of the office for a week with the flu or something. Skip to now a year later and my car is doing the exact same thing! Of course when I called on Tuesday of last week they were off because of labor day. They said they would return on Monday. I called on Monday the lady told me she would tell them and call me back. She never called me back. Called yesterday and she said she forgot to tell them. She would talk to them and call me back. She never called me back. I called 3 times and no answer. I called twice this morning and no one answered. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! These people do terrible work plus not once did I see or meet a mechanic. My car was just sitting on the lot and I was greeted by some woman in the office. There is a reason these people have no ratings!

Very few people can rebuild one of these carbs correctly. I asked if they could do my carb, they said $185, plus $15 shipping. They said, send me the carb quickly, as we are going on vacation next week and I will get it done before I leave. I mailed them the carb on a Monday afternoon, and it was back at my door by Saturday noon time! Now for the best part. I put the carb on my Eldorado, along with the new gasket and mounting plate that came with it, pumped the gas about 4 times, cranked the motor about 3 times, and the motor fired right up. NO ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED!!. The choke, the idle, the mixture were all right on. This is my new rebuilder for all my classic car carbs.

He barely hoses down my car and never wipes it down with the brushes and does everything as fast as he can so he can go sit in his car until someone else comes. This will be the second carburetor (Holley 4160) that Craig Woodruff has repaired for me. (the last…read moreone was 20+ years ago.). Excellent, knowledgeable service (he actually answers the phone and returns all calls!). I wish I had sent the carburetor in earlier, and saved myself some aggravation. But, as Craig said years ago, "90% of all carburetor problems are in the ignition system", so I chased all of those down first, but it was, in fact, the carburetor. I got the carb promptly back from his repair, he made a suggestion for a change in timing, and returned all of my old parts. I bolted the carb on, warmed her up and advanced the timing; now that '67 'Vette runs better than it has in years! I'm ecstatic. Nicely done and highly recommended. steve meltzer
