Being that my wife and I wanted to see the movie Michael, we actually chose this place as being some thing that we have heard good reviews about. After walking in and being greeted by the front desk, we had mentioned that this is our first time here and that we had already purchased tickets. The guy at the front counter scanned my QR Code and then printed tickets for us. Being that this was our first time here, he then proceeded to tell us that we could either order food at the bar or from the QR Code at our seats and then the food would be delivered. We got to our seat after walking a little bit and then when we walked into the Theater let me tell you that the place is VERY Clean and that as we sat down I realized that the seat was comortable and it reclined. We then ordered Popcorn and a Medium Sized Drink and after about 5 or 6 minutes the Popcorn came in with the Medium sized drink and let me tell you that the Popcorn was very salty and there wasnt alot of butter. The Mr Pibb on the other hand was great but the price of $28 for the Popcorn and the Drink was WAY too much. I normally dont spend that when I get a Popcorn and a Drink but I guess, it is, what it is. The thing I can say is that while the seats were comfortable, the movie was wonderful but the prices here are a BIT much. It's not like I wont return to watch another movie, Its just that I wont order Food, besides a Popcorn and maybe just bring my own drink. This place has gone downhill bad, REAL bad. My wife and I used to always frequent the Luxe, and would actually drive here from Granite Bay for most of our movie visits. We didn't drive here for the luxury of ordering food, no. In fact, we always thought their food was mediocre and overpriced. No, we drove here because after 5 pm this was an adults only theater. No one under 21 was allowed after 5 pm. Whoever thought removing this very important perk needs to get reevaluated. That was the primary reason for us coming here, along with many others and to remove the age restrictions is a really, really dumb move and will hurt them more than help them more in the end. If anything, that's what was keeping them here as long as it did. I can also complain about their ridiculous food pricing, but that's always been an issue here. The other big issue was removing the use of the button on the seat, and forcing people to use their phones in order to order refills or more food. Seriously, you want people to open their bright phones during a movie in order to order more stuff? Are you kidding me? Do you know how disrespectful that is for other moviegoers? Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea FOR A DARK MOVIE THEATER? This place used to be a great spot for adults, but now it's a joke. Don't let the pretty lobby fool you. It was always pretty, but now the rest of the perks of this theater no longer exist. What a shame the people running this theater let it fall as far as it did. read more

We went today, March 22, 2026. They now have kids parties there? The lobby was full of screaming children running around and we were bumped into several times, oblivious parents getting drunk. Luckily they left soon. The manager was there. Why didn't she say something? When we went into the theater, no one had cleaned it. Popcorn boxes, spilled drinks, you name it. I had to go alert the manager who sent in some stoned youth to clean it. They just picked up the trash, not really cleaning at all. When the movies started, the lights were still at max brightness. We've driven 45 minutes out of the way for years to see movies at this theater because of the attention to detail. Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced this last time. What used to be great seat side service is now just "scan the QR code." What was once great movie theater food now tastes like it simply came out of a box, fried up and dumped on a plate. The real disappointment is the smaller popcorn sizes and the fact that it was delivered cold and a little stale. The delicious mixed popcorn was overly gooey and refrigerator cold & delivered in a cereal sized bowl for our enjoyment. I gave 2 stars rather than 1 because the seats are still comfortable. After many years, these changes have made us decide to go elsewhere; it is no longer worth the higher cost. read more

It just keeps getting worse. Probably my last time coming here and updating posts. Saw now you see me now you don't last weekend. So many problems 1. Cinemawest website is absolute trash. It took my money but it never sent me an email confirmation. I couldn't login either. I'm glad I took a screenshot of the barcode. 2. The updated food ordering system is lousy since they opted to go with something else besides toast. The barcode on the seat goes to the cinema west website. And it does not work. There was food sitting in the bar counter for 20+ min. According to the bartender, there was an issue and they weren't sure what food went to what customer. Got so bad a customer came out. They told him it's on the counter they'll bring it. He opted to grab his own food. Seriously do better. It gets worse and worse overtime. read more

As much as I think some people on yelp may be exaggerating a bit, I made an account to write this review. I came to watch the Devil Wears Prada 2 (wonderful movie and definitely recommend!) and I had mixed reviews about my stay. The movie was good and the food was spectacular, the steak tacos sign at the front sold me! The theater was pretty clean and the reclining seats were comfortable. I was sad to hear the assistance buttons were disconnected- takes the feel of a dine-in service away. My biggest issue was that my order took nearly an hour to be delivered to my seat. It was hard to see, but I believe I only saw one person delivering food? He gave me a refill on my popcorn and soda I had ordered, so for the inconvenience that's alright. After the movie ended I also saw him cleaning one of the theaters. It's not my place to judge but it's disappointing there weren't other people to cover different parts of the job, or Atleast not enough staff. The food arrived with 30 minutes left of the movie. Honestly, worst experience ever, we were so thirsty waiting 1.5 hours for 2 drinks, popcorn, and a pretzel. We even went to check if they recieved our order after 40 minutes since it was only appetizers and they just said they are still working on it. The pretzel was stale and dry, the popcorn was disgustingly stale and unseasoned. Horrible! For $70 just go to the regular movie theaters, there is nothing Luxe about this trash place. read more

The Luxe used to be a premier movie experience but it is no more. 1. We arrived at 11:25am for our 11:45 movie. They unlocked the doors at 11:43am. There were several groups waiting to get in, and he waived us over to the scanner to get our tickets. Website said the theater opens at 11am daily. 2. There was no one at the bar; we were informed to order through the App. They had zero wines available. They made a bloody mary but did not have all of the ingredients- (it was okay though). I ordered a soda/popcorn and it came about 20 minutes later. The popcorn was freshly made, hence the two stars instead of 1. 3. The theater has not been maintained- popcorn remnants in the main aisle; it had clearly not been cleaned from the prior night (maybe weekend). Upon leaving, the bar was staffed, and people were ordering drinks, so maybe those arriving later in the day may have a better experience. read more

Yeah - I hate that I have to write this about my once beloved movie theater. I LOVED this theater (and Folsom) and used to go there A LOT. My ex-boyfriend and I used to drive from Roseville for a couple of date nights there. It really did give that nice feel of luxury from ordering gourmet food from your seat before the movie started to the theater being nice and very clean with attentive staff. Now!? I can't believe my experience during my recent visit (in which I drove all the way from Elk Grove) after a while of not coming to the theater. Palladio Cinema...is that you!? o___O So, I didn't visit the Palladio LUXE Cinema theater - I went to the Palladio 16 theater, but I did frequent the Palladio LUXE Theater a lot. I only ended up at the 16 theater because the LUXE wasn't playing the movie I wanted to see. But anyway, I went, and I couldn't believe it. I ordered a gourmet chocolate chip cookie online along with my movie ticket (for which I was charged $8.00), and when I arrived and tried to get my cookie, I was told that they were out. SMH So, I ended up settling for some raggedy M&Ms. I don't know why I didn't ask for or wasn't issued a refund, but whatever. Popcorn was literally all over the place. (All over the floor, overflowing in full trash cans, all over the seats, etc.) The theater itself was not clean or in an orderly fashion. The lobby literally looked like a tornado hit it, and the poor staff just looked tired. smh The only thing good during my experience there was the movie I was watching. I was truly shocked. I want to see another movie this weekend and was thinking about heading to the LUXE theater, but after this experience and reading reviews from other folks about the LUXE theater. It's truly a shame. We've been coming to Palladio LUXE Cinema for years, and it has always been one of our favorite spots for a night out. The experience used to feel seamless, comfortable, and a little bit special every time. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been very disappointing. We truly tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after the first experience, but the second visit confirmed that something has really changed--and not for the better. The biggest issue is how disorganized everything feels now. There are plenty of staff members around, but they don't seem to be working together as a team. The flow just isn't there anymore. What used to be a highlight--ordering food directly from your seat--has been taken away. Now you have to get up, walk back out to the bar to place an order, and miss part of your movie. Even when food is delivered, it takes a very long time, and there doesn't seem to be much urgency or concern about the customer experience. It feels like the system is confusing for both guests and staff, and unfortunately, that confusion shows. On top of that, they seem to be out of food items far too often, which adds to the frustration. The wine selection has also changed, and not for the better--it used to feel curated and enjoyable, and now it's pretty underwhelming. What made this especially disappointing is that we brought a couple who had never been before, hoping to share what used to be such a great experience. Their takeaway? "We're not going back." And honestly, we feel the same way now. It's frustrating because this theater used to be such a go-to for us. Came to see Peaky Blinders with friends. The CC device didn't work, had to watch the whole movie without subtitles. That's an F on the Deaf-friendly scale. They did comp my ticket for it which was nice. Wish that they could have found a way to get the CC devices paired. Lots of kids running through the lobby and climbing on chairs in the theater space. It came about 3/4 of the way full the Carmel corn was cold like it had been in the refrigerator and in huge hard clumps that you would actually break your teeth with. I used to visit Luxe all the time and genuinely enjoyed the food, service, and overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, over the past six months it has gone noticeably downhill. The quality of the food has declined as well, which is disappointing considering how good it used to be. Drink orders often don't arrive at all, and on one occasion I had to leave the theater just minutes before the movie ended to pick up a drink myself. The call button is frequently ignored, and now food can't even be ordered until the movie has already started. On top of that, the theater lights didn't go off when the movie began, and we had to leave the auditorium to get help. The bathrooms are another issue -- they consistently have an old smell, dirty stalls, broken sinks, and empty or non-working soap dispensers. This place used to have a sense of class and was always busy. Now it feels neglected and nearly empty. Very disappointing compared to what it once was. read more

I can't believe this is a luxury theater! I walked in to my showing and 10 minutes after the show time, the lights were still on and nothing playing on screen. I had to go let the know it hadn't started. Took at least another 10 minutes to get it started. So I'm trying to get into the movie and realize about an hour in that this is going to be a VERY long movie! So I tried to order from their QR code stuck to the tray table and the website kicks me out saying ordering will be available again for the NEXT SHOWING! We were really disappointed with our experience at this "luxe" theater -- it was far from what the name suggests. The bathrooms had no toilet paper in multiple stalls and the soap dispensers were empty, with only a random jug of soap sitting on the counter, which felt unsanitary and unprofessional. There was a sign that said no bar top until 5pm but when we ordered popcorn and drinks during the previews, our order didn't arrive until over an hour and twenty minutes into the movie..and that was after we got up to ask about our order. Additionally, they were "sold out" of many basic beverage options I'd expect from a luxe theater. On top of that, the lights in the theater didn't go down until 10ish minutes after the movie started, which made the beginning hard to watch, and the heater kept kicking on, making the theater uncomfortably warm. To add to the disorganization, we overheard the bartender telling another guest that she had just started her shift at 5pm and still needed to check her computer -- which explained the slow service, but made it obvious the theater was under-staffed and unprepared. Overall, this experience felt poorly managed from start to finish, and definitely didn't match the "luxe" standard the theater advertises. I went today with my spouse - I spent $40 for two dogs to go to daycare so we could go see a movie today. It didn't matter which movie but we wanted to have a luxurious time at the theaters. It's a Saturday early afternoon but there doesn't appear to be many patrons. I use the bathroom and Paul sits at the bar when the front desk girl says the bar is closed. As we go to our seats, we see are the only ones in the room to watch the Keanu Reeves's movie. I order the food via the app and push the call button. After about 20 minutes no one has come by so Paul leaves the movie to check. He comes back and says that the buttons no longer work and we can only order through the app. I had already put the food order in but I wanted to order a vodka soda and that's not an option on the app. A girl comes with the food and she said we have to order on the app and she can't take our order. She said if the drink isn't listed than you have to order at the bar. I said the bar is closed so? She said something like IDK that's weird. So I order what I thought was a bottle of red for $30 (they also had one listed for $42 and $52) and a Bloody Mary ($12) I ordered this on the app and we ate the food and enjoyed the movie. Over 20 minutes pass again and I we just want something to drink. I leave the movie this time and there is no one in the whole lobby. No one at the front no one at the bar no one checking tickets. I wait another few minutes growing more and more annoyed. I go back up the stairs and go towards what I think is the kitchen and the front desk girl with glasses is coming out. I ask her about the drinks I ordered and she said it hasn't come through. I said it's been over 20 minutes, showing her my time stamp of the apple pay and the receipt. She said she would go get someone to make the drinks. She knocked on the door by the ticket stand and got another person to come out. I told the lady that I had been waiting for over twenty minutes for the drinks and I am missing the movie I paid to see to try to figure this out. She kind of just nods and goes down the stairs to the bar and so does the front desk girl. Which is so weird to me- no hey I'm sorry let me check on this or I'm so sorry you're missing part of the movie let me hurry up on this for you. I ask the front desk girl to talk to her manager and she said that is the manager. This is definitely not a luxe experience especially after I paid a lot for the kids daycare, for the food, the tickets, and trying to the drinks I also paid for! I asked them to take the wine off and that I wanted a vodka soda instead (because that's what I really wanted in the first place) and I guess the manager was having trouble with that. I asked to speak to the GM when I was out of the movie. The bartender was in training but at least had some customer service sense- she asked how I was doing and I said Ok, not great - and without missing a beat said let's see what we can do to change that with a big smile which was nice. She looked up a recipe for the Bloody Mary but at least she was trying to make the experience better for me instead of no one else trying. I get that this is nobody's "fault" but that doesn't mean someone can't take ownership of the situation and try to make it better. Luckily there was no one else in my theater so my boyfriend could bring me back up to speed on what I missed for the incredible amount of time I was gone. Afterwards the GM was there to chat with me and wanted to hear my side. I told her what happened and she said she would look into all of my concerns: the drink not listed, the lack of communication, and why the drinks never showed up until I had to come out myself . The GM wrote everything down, she said she would refund the tickets and make sure I was refunded for the wine and that she would call me to confirm. I will update this review once everything has been completed. My burger was excellent btw. And the new bartender was nice. But if this is what you call a luxe experience I would rather pay the Amazon fee to watch it at home. read more

Something has changed. Last time we were there was July 2025, It was a great experience. This time around, the food trays and the side arm rests felt sticky and it was so warm in the theater. It was warm outside, always feels good when you are in an air conditioned theater enjoying the movie not thinking about how hot and uncomfortable you are. We ordered a cocktail that we never recieved, we just wanted to get out of there so we didn't even ask for the refund. We ordered waters, that were a little above room temp, which sucked because it was so warm in there. I can say the food was not too bad, didn't bring napkins. What happened to the Lux at Palladio LUXE Cinema? Isn't the day after Christmas one of the biggest movie-going days of the year? Apparently not here. We went to Palladio LUXE Cinema for the first time in a while, and honestly--wow. Whatever made this place "LUXE" is gone. From the moment we walked in, the vibe felt off. The bar was empty, the space felt uninspired, and nothing about it said holiday, special, or experience. We arrived an hour early specifically to enjoy a drink and some food before the movie. That's when things really went downhill. No Chardonnay. None. No sparkling wine either. At a "luxury" cinema. Really? Then we were handed a beat-up piece of paper with a QR code on it for the menu. No physical menu, no presentation, no effort. This is not the place I remember. At that point, we cut our losses. We skipped the movie we had already paid for and left. We went to Iron Horse Tavern instead and actually had a real drink and decent food--what we were hoping for in the first place. The entire "experience" that once set this theater apart is gone. No charm. No attention to detail. No Lux. Honestly, this may have been the final nail in the coffin for going to the movies at all. Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover it. read more

Came here for a date night on 11/24. This was the wildest movie theatre "experience" I've ever dealt with. We walked in, not a single staff member to be found. Once we finally found someone to direct us, he said it was his first day and he had to find someone else to help us since he wasn't familiar with the front check in process. Once we finally got our tickets, we again couldn't find anyone to direct us, so we just had to find our theatre ourselves. Finally got to our seats, and sat down for previews. The previews were so loud I had to plug my ears. And the lights never turned off in the theatre, so we couldn't even see the previews that were deafening us. So I went to tell an employee. Again, not a single person in sight. So I just found the switch and turned the lights off myself. You shouldn't have to take it upon yourself to turn off the lights to enjoy the movie you paid for. You can't order food until the movie starts, so you have to be on your phone during the first few minutes of the actual movie if you want food. Then, once we ordered, it took 45 minutes to get a popcorn and soda. I wish I could get a refund for the tickets, food, all of it. I'd give zero stars if I could. Dave Corkil has run this place into the ground. I don't know why he continues to do everything besides what the customers want. At this point just let it go. This used to be my favorite theatre. Been a resident of Folsom since 2010. Theres no more servers. Just people who run food. The call button screen in the back was taken down over a year ago. I got an error when trying to pay for my food so I had to go to the bar to order every time I wanted something. In turn missing important parts of Wicked For Good and just ended up getting a refund. I feel bad for the ppl who work here bc all they do is listen to complaints all day. There's nothing more that can be done. Apparently "in training" Was able to order dinner of the QR code, food was ok not very good. Got to our sets. Tried to order, but ordering from the sir code was not available. I'm not sure what we paid the overpriced expensive for. It wasn't for what we believe we came here for. Total letdown with a big price tag for a standard movie experience at any local small town theater. Would have rather stayed home. I do feel bad for some of the staff though. I love this theater and I'm a very spoiled ex-film Studio employee who loves the movie theater experience. The sound and screen quality is great. Seating is amazing. French fries - just like in Brussels (where they originated), and food service- top notch). Parking is in the back, but I haven't figured that out yet - I park down the street - Free. This is a great theater. It's too bad more people don't know about it. Their popcorn is great, and the seats are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the service is not as good as it used to be. It seems that the theater has discontinued the 21+ seating after 5pm. A shame--this is really why I felt comfortable at this theater. The staff seems likewise disappointed at the owner's decision to re-market this theater. Without the 21+ shows, and given the aging status of the chairs, it makes more sense to go to the other theater in Palladio. I hope the owner will reconsider their decision. read more

NO A/C, Auto tipping and burnt food! Came to a Friday night showing around 7:30 and they wouldn't turn on the air conditioning to conserve money. The room was deathly hot and smelled like body odder from everyone sweating. Half the menu was sold out on a Friday. Ordered a burger and it was solid black it was so burnt it just crumbled to pieces. Food took an hour after ordering to receive. Automatic tipping is applied but they won't serve you water or ask if you need anything. They just bring out terrible food and leave. I used to love this place and now it's the absolute opposite. Food took forever to come out and they were out of so many things on the menu. My grandson ordered the cheesesteak and they didn't tell us they were out until my own food came out. He had to wait another 20-25 mins for his food. This was supposed to be a fun experience for my grandson and it was a huge disappointment. I won't be recommending this place to anyone. I have been here a couple times and I think each was a good experience. I've only gone after 5pm, when it's adults only.. the bar area really becomes a vibe! We ordered our drinks and food each time at the bar to be brought to our seats, so I'm not sure if there is a different experience when ordering at the seat. The first time, they brought the food but not my wine! I didn't bother getting up, but they refunded after I told them after the movie. So I made sure to get it from the bar the second time lol For theatre 1, we were told it's really cold in there. I thought this would be fine because the heat has been torture.. When The Luxe first opened, the experience was fantastic. The food was high quality, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Today's experience was completely different. There are no waiters anymore, only a QR code to order everything from your phone. My husband is visually impaired, so I placed his order for him. When the food arrived, I politely asked the server if he could place one plate on each table. Instead, he set both plates in front of me and said, "You can figure it out." I was speechless, especially considering that a tip is required when ordering. Not only is the service essentially nonexistent, but the food quality has declined as well. This was my first time going to the Luxe. I had a question about my ticket, and Eugine was incredibly helpful! He made it super easy for us and pointed out where to go since we were first-timers. The seats recline in theater 5, which made for a great movie experience. It's Christmas and this theater's servers went down the night before... so they lost the prepaid ticket reservations our family of four had. When I get to the theater instead of just simply apologizing and saying "terribly sorry we have made a mistake, let me give you a refund and offer you some free tickets or to comp you for the $10 ice tea you just bought to the movie you can no longer see...", I started to get a long explanation of what was going on without the important information of: no seats for you. I don't care why your company lost my prepaid tickets; I don't really care you didn't have a backup server which makes your corporate headquarters decision making skills questionable. When it's clearly your company's fault and you can't honor our agreement: just come out and tell me the situation and make it right, don't waste my time. If it is the manager or the corporate headquarters's policy that the best thing they can do when they can't fix the problem is to waste more of my time and tell me we can get a refund then you will continue to get 1-star reviews. The bathroom was dirty and the theatre had to be cleaned right before the movie started. Tray tables were full of dirty dishes. Not a "lux" experience that's for sure! read more
