I wanted to catch a movie that was playing about 25 minutes from my place, and since this isn't my usual theater, I figured why not give Palladio 16 in Folsom a shot. Friends and family have mentioned coming here before, so I decided it was time to see it for myself. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. Not a whole lot of people around, which made me wonder if the hospitality might feel a little flat. But hey, everyone deserves a fair shot, so I walked up, ordered some food and drinks, and headed toward my movie. When I placed the order, I was told it would be about four minutes. A moment later the employee came back and said closer to ten minutes and that they would bring it to my seat. No problem at all. I thanked him and went to settle in. Well... about thirty minutes passed and nothing showed up. Eventually I had to step out of the theater and miss part of the movie just to check on it, only to be told it would be a little while longer. That was definitely the hiccup of the night. That said, when the food finally arrived it was hot and actually really good, which helped soften the frustration a bit. The theater itself was great. The reclining chairs were even more comfortable than my usual movie spot, which was a pleasant surprise. The sound quality was excellent, and the whole place felt clean and well kept. All things considered, aside from the food timing mishap, it ended up being a solid movie night. A few tweaks on the service side and this place could easily become a regular stop.

Mud and dirt on floors. Popcorn everywhere. Nasty.

Cleanliness. Popcorn all over. We had to wipe our seats of popcorn upon entering the theater. It didn't used to be this way. What happened? It doesn't represent Folsom. T The movie quality was good hence the extra star.

This used to be my family's go-to movie theater but it has gone way downhill recently. Concessions are overpriced - $10 for a soda lol. Waited 15 minutes for a cheeseburger just to be told that they have no buns and were offered hot dog buns instead. No napkins in any of the holders. The bathrooms were disgusting and sticky, plus the soap jugs were just sitting on the counter. A couple of our recliner seats were broken in auditorium 16. The volume was super quiet and the screen was dark. It was honestly a terrible experience and we will not be back to this theater.

This theater is usually nice but lately it's wear is showing. When I arrived, I attempted to buy candy but the prices aren't posted anywhere, not on the menu screen, not on the rack the candy hangs on -- turns out a small box of candy is almost $10!! Crazy pricey, didn't but any. And upon going into the theater, the seat I bought, seat E-5 in theater #1, was covered in popcorn. After cleaning it off myself, I sat down and reclined, only to find that the cushion for your legs was missing and instead there was hard wood for my calves to rest on. Not cool. See pic. When they charge you $16 a seat, they better fix their seats so the cushions aren't missing. Not coming back, ghetto Folsom theater.

You can get food and beverages in a non cluttered area.

After walking in and being greeted by the front desk, we had mentioned that this is our first time here and that we had already purchased tickets. The guy at the front counter scanned my QR Code and then printed tickets for us. Being that this was our first time here, he then proceeded to tell us that we could either order food at the bar or from the QR Code at our seats and then the food would be delivered. We got to our seat after walking a little bit and then when we walked into the Theater let me tell you that the place is VERY Clean and that as we sat down I realized that the seat was comortable and it reclined. We then ordered Popcorn and a Medium Sized Drink and after about 5 or 6 minutes the Popcorn came in with the Medium sized drink and let me tell you that the Popcorn was very salty and there wasnt alot of butter. The Mr Pibb on the other hand was great but the price of $28 for the Popcorn and the Drink was WAY too much. I normally dont spend that when I get a Popcorn and a Drink but I guess, it is, what it is. The thing I can say is that while the seats were comfortable, the movie was wonderful but the prices here are a BIT much. It's not like I wont return to watch another movie, Its just that I wont order Food, besides a Popcorn and maybe just bring my own drink. As I looked over the QR code at the food I also noticed that there was a lot of different pricing for food that I also think was a bit high. Great experience over all.

This place has gone downhill bad, REAL bad. My wife and I used to always frequent the Luxe, and…read morewould actually drive here from Granite Bay for most of our movie visits. We didn't drive here for the luxury of ordering food, no. In fact, we always thought their food was mediocre and overpriced. No, we drove here because after 5 pm this was an adults only theater. No one under 21 was allowed after 5 pm. Whoever thought removing this very important perk needs to get reevaluated. That was the primary reason for us coming here, along with many others and to remove the age restrictions is a really, really dumb move and will hurt them more than help them more in the end. If anything, that's what was keeping them here as long as it did. I can also complain about their ridiculous food pricing, but that's always been an issue here. The other big issue was removing the use of the button on the seat, and forcing people to use their phones in order to order refills or more food. Seriously, you want people to open their bright phones during a movie in order to order more stuff? Are you kidding me? Do you know how disrespectful that is for other moviegoers? Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea FOR A DARK MOVIE THEATER? This place used to be a great spot for adults, but now it's a joke. Don't let the pretty lobby fool you. It was always pretty, but now the rest of the perks of this theater no longer exist. What a shame the people running this theater let it fall as far as it did.

Even though this movie theater was here long before the one at the Palladio, I still think of this…read morespot as Folsom's "secret", lesser-known, theater. And if I do go see a movie these days, I check the showtimes here first. So this theater is directly across the street from the Folsom Outlets, tucked in the back. It's walking distance from a Taco Express, a Filipino eatery, and Indian restaurant, a pizza parlor, a bar, and a few other restaurants/eateries. It's a great location for those that would rather eat real food before or after the movie than spending $67.38 on a large popcorn and a Coke. I wouldn't go so far as to refer to this theater as a "no-thrills" movie experience, but it definitely doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Palladio or the Regal in El Dorado Hills. While they do have a few sporadic 3-D movie showings, you're out of luck if you're looking for an IMAX, D Box, or ScreenX experience. With that being said, the tickets here are definitely cheaper than the aforementioned theaters. A matinee here runs about $10 during the weekday, which is about $7-8 cheaper than a similar showtime at the Palladio, for the same movie. The concession stand is also more basic as well. I can't recall all their options off the top of my head, but they do have plenty of popcorn, drinks, and candy. If that's not going to do it for you, the Filipino place next door is really good. Definitely a more satisfying option than nachos or a hot dog. Five stars seems appropriate for this venue. If it was more expensive, I would bring down the rating. But if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg on movie tickets, don't like crowds, don't want to stress about parking, love Filipino food, and you're looking to do some retail therapy shopping nearby, give this theatre a try.

The prices of the concession items are still outrageous sadly. Even with the 20% off for being movie club members, it's still very hard to pay those prices for a soda and popcorn. Lots of food upgrades really... yum yum... there are still some dated things.. YES there are long previews - but - plan accordingly people... you book your seat, so show up 10 minutes later or go get some upgraded snacks and support the staff that way... Okay... small rant... Hey fellow movie goer... pick up your trash please - we can all be a bit more kind and classy rather than toss it on the floor?? I told myself I'd wait until I got the full experience before dropping a review--and let me tell you, I did my homework. Three movies deep (Slow Mío, Remembering Him, Project Hail Mary) and a full concession tour like I was on a mission. Popcorn? Fresh and hitting. Pizza? Hot and actually satisfying. Hot dog? No regrets. Nachos? Gone before the previews ended. Every single time the food came out hot, ready, and did exactly what movie theater food is supposed to do--elevate the whole experience. Now let's talk about the real MVP: the staff. Every visit, different times, same energy--polite, welcoming, and on it. No attitude, no rush-you-along vibes... just solid customer service that makes you feel like you picked the right spot. The theater itself? Clean, organized, and inviting every single time. And I pay attention to the details--especially the restrooms. Because let's be honest, that's usually where places fall off. Not here. Three visits, different times of day, and they were spotless every time. That alone deserves a slow clap. Bonus points for the adult beverages at concessions. Because sometimes you want popcorn... and sometimes you want popcorn with a little "life is good" in a cup. All in all, the movies were great--but the theater made the experience even better. Cinemark Roseville Galleria is officially in my regular rotation. At this rate, they might as well save me a seat.

I wish that we had one in Roseville that was also Luxe. While they have redone the auditoriums from when it was a Regal theater, the concession stand and lobby has remained practically the same. Overall, everything seems to be fairly clean, but to be fair there's never been a time that we've come that there have been more than 10 people in our theater. The bathrooms are fine, but didn't appear to be part of the remodel, so it is very dated. No, as for the concessions, everything is movie theater prices, so it's going to be definitely on the pricier side. But the popcorn does also tend to either be burnt or just not taste very good. I don't know if they're using old popcorn or if the employees don't know how to make it properly yet, but overall concessions are pretty disappointing. Of the three times that we have seen a movie here, one of the times the sound quality was absolutely horrible. Looking back at reviews now it looks like that was an issue around that time, but it was never addressed to anyone upon buying tickets or checking tickets, which was really disappointing. The sound quality was just not great and if I had known it was going to be like that I wouldn't have seen my movie that day. All in all, I'm glad that we have a new theater in that location. And I'm hoping that with a little bit more time things can improve.

I shushed a couple of times, but it felt like some people thought they were watching a movie at home rather than in a theater. On a positive note, the big screen was fantastic and perfect for a movie like Avatar. That part of the experience did not disappoint. As for concessions, the popcorn was just okay.
