Paledo is a small and focused gluten-free restaurant that we visited on a recent weekend for lunch. The menu is a variety of vegetarian bowls (quinoa, avocado, that sort of thing), along with sandwiches (some of which have meat or fish), and breakfast options. They have a full coffee and tea menu, along with smoothies, juices, and soft drinks. There are some unique options like homemade almond milk for your coffee, and a red beet or "smurf" (spirulina) latte. The service is very friendly, and they have some outdoor seating, which is nice on a sunny day.
I had the Superfood Bowl, which comes with sweet potatoes, quinoa, spinach, avocado, walnuts, tomatoes, and cucumbers, along with a beet hummus and an orange dressing. The flavors were excellent, and everything was very fresh. I wish there had been more, and for 10.50 € it felt like there should have been. But it's a minor complaint.
I'm not vegetarian or gluten-free, but I found the food to be delicious, and the atmosphere and service appealing. I won't cross town to return, but if I were in the neighborhood, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by. read more
