It immediately gives you peace of mind. More importantly, our daughter has built close relationships with her teachers, Lily, Adriana, and Leila. You can genuinely tell they enjoy what they do and care about the kids. Since starting there, she has been talking a lot more and has clearly developed stronger social skills. She has made a solid group of friends, which has been great to see. We also really appreciate the structure they provide. They handle breakfast, lunch, and a snack after nap time. That is one less daily stress for us. They make an effort to get the kids outside, which we think is important. Communication has been strong. They send updates when we ask and share photos, which helps us feel connected to her day. They have also been flexible with drop off and pick up times, which makes life easier.

I was happy to make the recommendation of HHCC! I pulled my daughters out about a year ago after I began working from home, though they miss it! The location is kept very tidy and of course very festive for each holiday. I should've left my review sooner

From the moment we first toured their facility, we knew it was just right for us; and we had looked at 4 other care facilities by this point. MSC was also the only one to offer a reference call with a parent of a child who was currently attending their facility. They're a great mix of the attention you'd expect from a home-based option, but the structure from center-based care. Miguel, Graciela (Tia), and Michael went above and beyond to ensure that my child felt safe, nurtured, and loved throughout his time there, and their genuine love for what they do shines through in everything they do. Our son grew leaps and bounds in the year that he was with MSC. He went from crawling and babbling to confidently walking and becoming more sociable and talkative with their encouragement and guidance. They have helped him blossom into a confident and curious little explorer. They created an amazing environment that really fostered a sense of community with the other parents and children that attended MSC. The only reason our son isn't there right now is because we moved to another country, and we only wish we could take them with us wherever we go. We're truly grateful for the impact they've had on our family.

They provide new and stimulating curriculum with a rotating set of toys. As well as a homey, "second home" feel, where they assist children in potty training and showing them the benefits of gardening. They make frequent trips to the park and the grocery store, teaching the kids real life skills. On top of this kids make best friends and there is a text community where the parents receive pictures daily. So far we have made lemonade, zucchini, and broccoli to eat, all from MSC's garden. In addiction to this, the kids are learning and speaking Spanish, a valuable skill in California and worldwide. Give Tia and Miguel a call, you'd be lucky to get a spot at this daycare.

We looked at multiple facilities, but felt right at home when we toured Super Munckins Academy. The teachers Michael, Romaria, and Liliane are all very kind and caring. I have seen them treat all the children as if they are family. My son has always been excited at drop off, relieving a lot of anxiety when we first started daycare and every day after. I always know that he is in good hands and am never stressed or worried during the day. Every time we pick him up he is smiling ear to ear. They provide frequent status updates and photos throughout the day which is much appreciated. They also utilize baby sign language as well which really helped foster our son's communication skills. In addition to this they taught my son to say please/thank you before 18 months which, I will tell you, is the cutest thing ever. They do daily teaching activities and go to the park as well. They get a lot of outdoor play as well which my son loves. They are able to accommodate special requests as well (ie early nap time if needed based on appointments). Both my husband and I work 8-5 most days so we were worried about finding a place that could accommodate our work hours. Michael worked with our schedule and was able to plan early drop off/pick up for us which was much appreciated! They even are able to provide weekend care with advanced notice if one of the teachers are available.

My husband and I really appreciate the atmosphere this home-based daycare provides as it is important that young children enjoy their early years from infant-preschool. It is more than a family based daycare (note 14 kids is the maximum enrollment) as the program mimics preschool curriculum and teaches kids ABCs, shapes, coloring, name writing and whole lot more. Special kudos for introducing different languages- they speak Spanish and Portuguese and this place is well diverse. The teachers are all very caring and attentive to her needs and have been instrumental in her preparation for kindergarten. Each day (weather permitting) the kids have outdoor play and they visit different neighborhood parks, visit the library, and seasonal parks. One of the many perks is that they utilize the Bright Wheel App where they post many pictures and short videos throughout the day, so parents can see how their children are up too:) The location is ideal too as the home is next to SMPD, library, various shops and minute away from Foster City, 101/92 freeways. I too, agree that Super Munchkins Academy is a true gem and we are so grateful to have our daughter go there. She always talks highly of her teachers and her friends she has made along the way. If you are in the Peninsula and looking for a daycare/preschool for your child, do not hesitate to contact SMA and get on their waitlist. THANK YOU so much Super Munchkins Academy for you all that you do. PS- the photos here are a bit outdated as they have renovated their home. Check out the backyard- it is phenomenal!

Even though it's a relatively new facility (just about a year old), they've created such a warm, welcoming, and enriching environment for the kids. The space is beautiful, with high-quality wooden toys and a fantastic outdoor area where the kids spend a lot of time--even in colder weather, which we really appreciate. Encouraging outdoor play in all seasons is so important, and this daycare really prioritizes it. The food is another standout feature: they serve homemade, mostly organic meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with healthy snacks. It's such a relief knowing the kids are eating nutritious, well-prepared food. The staff here are wonderful, but we especially love teacher Natalia. She is so kind and genuinely cares for the children. You can see how much she loves what she does, and it makes a huge difference. Our son loves going here, and we've noticed how much he's grown and learned from all the activities. They do lots of art projects and other creative learning activities every day, which keeps them engaged and excited to go back. This daycare has truly been a blessing for us, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing, fun, and high-quality place for their little ones.

The nutritious meals are such a big help for us, because we don't need to worry about making sure he has enough vegetables and protein during weekdays at home, which take a big load off our plates. The outdoor play area are nice and all play structures/ toys are new. My child is happy and thriving. Ms Natalia and Elisa are so wonderful, sweet, and capable. Cindy came recommended from a friend and they also planned on brining their child during spring break as well. We toured the daycare on a weekend. From the beginning, Cindy was fast and communicative. The Daycare was small but it was very clean. Because it was short term, we paid a daily rate and felt the rate was very fair. Highly recommend this place! We feel great about having a flexible childcare option that is relatively close to us! It is going to be a big transition with her no longer going to Cindy regularly. Sending our first child to daycare was not an easy decision for us, as our families are used to helping each other out in babysitting and not sending our babies and toddlers to daycare, but it truly ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our daughter at an early age. Noticing her social skills and eagerness to interact with other kids both at daycare and in social settings has become very rewarding. Cindy has the character of someone who truly cares about the development and growth of children. I can recognize these habits she instills in her daycare, easily by observing her and the children when I picked up my daughter after work and simply talking to her for just 5-10min with updates on both my own daughter and the other kids she takes care of. Cindy was also so accommodating in adding extra days in we would need for babysitting, even in such short notice. She sent pictures every so often, and provided us with the daily routine of what our daughter did/learned on the days she attended. We appreciated her outdoor space for our daughter to get some sunlight and play, the friends that she made there, the year-round holiday activities she would prepare for the kids, and the bilingual dialogue that Cindy would use to expose the kids to more than just English. We are currently expecting our second child, and we would easily choose Cindy to be part of our lives again in babysitting and caring for our children when needed.

As a first time parent, I was of course focused on setting up my son for the best academic future possible and was looking at academically focused pre-schools like Stratford. Visiting that school, I had a mixed feeling of hope for the future, and sadness to see pre-schoolers lined up in those tiny desks doing work. The playground was quiet on the day I visited and there was a little girl crying. Was it really necessary to start my baby boy on the Gerbil wheel of life so soon? In contrast, my first impression of Petite Sorbonne was of the crazy noise and sound of laughter. It was a bit overwhelming initially, but it seemed like kids were everywhere. As Teacher June gave me a tour of the grounds (a large Victorian house), she was interrupted every few minutes by a kid giving her a hug or telling her "I love you". The kids just played together and were so happy, the way childhood is supposed to be. I went with my gut. I'm writing this review with the benefit of hindsight. My son is now in 4th grade and at the top of his class academically. He's in the honors class at Russian school of Math. But most importantly, he truly loves learning, has what seems to be a bottomless well of curiosity, and makes friends so easily. Teachers June and Vanessa are the most amazing educators and developers of global citizens. They teach the important things in life--what it means to be a part of a Community, how to treat yourself and others with respect. Your children will have traditions from this school, from the blooming and nurturing of the garden, finding of treasures in the playground sand, to the trouble that leprechauns bring. They will have so much fun doing it! The years that your child will spend at this school are like a gift. They will be filled with laughter, love, play, friendship and happiness.

Teacher June has been running this business for decades and provides a very nurturing environment for our little ones that has been thoughtfully laid out with different activity focused rooms, as well as a nice playground for outside time. Kids come to the window to say goodbye, and are in a good mood when they're picked up. You know they've had a nice day. We've had two children attend years ago and they still have lasting friendships! We're back with our 3rd child, and we're glad we came! Parking can be a little annoying, and cost wise, doesn't make sense for part time as there isn't that much of a difference between full and part time (as it essentially takes a spot). And your child must be "mostly" potty trained to attend. There are cheaper options, but there are also considerably more expensive options as well in the area. At under $2K/mo for full time, I think it's well priced for the environment and what is provided. We hope you love it as much as we do!
