Sometimes you just want to get your food, chow down, pay and bounce as quickly as possible. Maybe it's because you've spent the day walking around. Or you're getting home super late from work. The last thing you want is an hour plus long meal experience, but you also don't want fast food.
The food is fine here, if a bit random. There's a big ham leg in the middle, some simple sushi, fried items, salads, cheeses. I like the ice cream and fruit selection they have. They also have a grill in the back where they will cook up stuff fresh for you. Go for the mushrooms and steak. However, it's not really clear when your food is ready or if someone will bring it to you.
Other than that though, the service is generally good. The staff here seem to be really interested in people's places of origin...they were surprised I was Filipino American and asked me to teach them some Tagalog words.
If you're in Paris on vacation, this is far from a destination spot. But if you're just tired as hell, it's a welcome sight.
