We used to criticise British 'Pokie' machines for being tricky and complicated but this was a lovely surprise. There are the usual 10p and 2p push down machines in this arcade but we didn't touch them this time. Staff could have smiled a bit more.

Like in American films with hundreds of amazing quarter hungry machines of sound and light, with meandering crowds of laughing crowds... Nobles is on the other hand the other kind of Arcade, the more acceptable adult kind filled wall to wall with gambling machines. They host fast paced bingo games here too so that you can have a bit of variety in your gambling habits if you so desire. Strangely you also walk through here to get to a tanning salon upstairs, but I like my pasty white complexion just the way it is, so I stayed clear of there. In all honesty I won't be coming here again, just because I don't get fruit machines even when they're in sociable spaces like pubs.

I know I shouldn't be surprised, but you'd think that the sea side town of Brighton would have a decent scattering of the places rather than just a gentle dotting by the sea front, where even then they are less impressive than one would hope. But anyways, Monarch Amusements is a fine little place if all you want to do is go for a couple of spins on some fruit machines to lighten your wallet.

The only problem I have with Gamer Heaven is that I, myself, have ordered something back in November and only until I wrote on their Facebook wall did I receive a response, I tried emailing them days prior to finally just going on their Facebook page where they seem to have a lot of customers with the same experience as me, wondering when their order is going to be shipped out or where the rest of their order is. I understand that they are a small company and it takes a while for them to complete the high volume of orders, but at the same time it seems like they don't do anything unless you write on their wall. If I had known or read their wall posts, I definitely would have asked about my order sooner as I know have to wait until the new year to get all the gifts I bought for my friends. All in all, a great store. They just need to pull up their socks and respond to emails, and ship things out on time without having to be hassled.
