The search for a location was disheartening and filled with over-luxurious locations that over charge you for any little addition and amenities. I almost gave up. What made Kinfolk unique and special is the owners. Mrs. Williams was accommodating, flexible, understanding, responsive, and very attentive. We were able to fully customize our experience to our liking rather than to fit it around some owner's overly restrictive and expensive idea of a special occasion. Not everyone is looking for some giant space for their baby shower. It is supposed to be an intimate affair after all. And more importantly, it's your day not theirs. The location is new, clean, beautiful and well maintained. It has a beautiful bathroom, outdoor space, kitchen area, wifi and a sound system is available for an additional fee. We recommend this place and look forward to renting it again ourselves. Thank you Kinfolk for being a part of our beautiful memory.

I was here for an event last winter but this was my first time getting to really move around inside. The game was shown from a projector across the entire wall space. Bartenders were generous and gave the crowd endless flavored shots. The sound quality and lighting was on point. After the game ended, we moved outside to the backyard area. A really cool chef was on the grill serving everything and it was all delicious. I ordered grilled steak with spinach and macaroni. Wonderful night. I would definitely go back for another event. As for price and quality package in my personal opinion and experience it was all I needed. Everything was in compliance with my expectations beautifully: modern furniture, fully equipped and the owner and staff members were very professional and helpful. Blessed Sacrament Girl Scout Troops 2389/2568/2835 were happy to come together, not just to celebrate the Daisies/Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes/Seniors who were bridging to the next level in Girl Scouts, but we also had the privilege to celebrate four young ladies who were bridging from Ambassadors to Adults - effectively graduating from our Girl Scouting Program under Girl Scouts of Greater New York. These young ladies have dedicated up to 13 years to Girl Scouting and have been friends/sisters to each other through the majority of this journey. We consider these graduating girls our "CORE" - our troops' Girl Scouting program was built upon their ongoing participation and they have set a wonderful example for their Girl Scout Sisters coming up behind them - doing their "best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout." just as the Girl Scout Law deems they should The decorations were IMPECCABLE and BEAUTIFULLY DONE - far exceeding our expectations! Nora really brought the vision together, we just had to add a few personal touches when we arrived (a banner and a picture addition to the table centerpieces). It was really an elegant and elevated affair - just what we were looking for! Nora and the staff at Studio 17 Bushwick treated all of our guests with respect and professionalism second to none. Nora was extremely responsive to all questions and requests - I was happy to have a partner like her in planning this event. She really matched my own level of organization which was super helpful. Contract signing and payment schedule was super easy. And I received my security deposit back almost immediately after our event was over. The next time I need a small yet elegant event space - I will definitely look to Studio 17 as a FIRST CHOICE!

We had finished dinner nearby and were looking for a place to grab a cocktail, when one of my…read morefriends suggested the Hide Rooftop in the Artezen Hotel. The bi-level bar and lounge was dark, swanky, and seductive. It would make an excellent spot for dates or groups of friends, like mine. We started off sitting at the bar, as there were no large tables available upon our arrival. However, after about 15 minutes, the host approached to tell us that he could actually seat us. I picked up my glass, which was wet with condensation, and it slipped out of my hands. I was able to collect it with only a minor spill, but the host insisted that the bar staff make me a new cocktail in case the glass had chipped at all. It was a considerate gesture that I greatly appreciated. Plus, since I had already taken a few sips, I was thrilled to get those back in a new glass! In terms of my cocktail of choice, I had opted for the Hot Tijuana Tease, a fiery blend of mezcal, blanco tequila, chile poblano liqueur, and lime juice. So, it was essentially a spicy margarita, and it was excellent. There were clean, crisp notes of peppery heat balanced with layers of robust smoke. My only complaint about the lounge was that the bathrooms were beyond tiny. There were two unisex stalls in a very tight alcove that also included a cramped sink counter. It was awkward and uncomfortable to share that space with another patron. Aside from that, the Hide Rooftop was a beautiful place with a friendly staff and interesting drinks.

They've got table seatings with happy hour 4 till 7pm mon-wed, 4-6pm thur-fri, and bar seatings is happy hour whole day weekdays. Their happy hour menu doesn't have a huge variety but got some great selections. We had a passion fruit margarita, Amstel beers and some of their boneless chicken wings. Drinks and food were both great. The chicken wings seemed more like nuggets but had a really good batter and was fried nicely, fingers weren't really greasy. So good we ordered another one. There was only one bartender taking our orders so it took a while to place our order since he was really busy but he was super kind and attentive, kept refilling our waters when it got low. This is a great place to wind down whether you just want some food and drinks on you're own after work or if you got a small party to chat with, volume is not too loud. They also had one large table so all good if you're a big group too. I will think their rooftop will be able to seat even more big groups but will come back and find out next time! Great find!
